Rarurick Ragu, owner and designer of :WhoNose:, just keeps getting better. She now has two shops, one in the Baby Monkey Mall and another at LVS Drive.  You can find these outfits at either shop.  Her designs are beautifully sculpted and rich in detail.  Many come with shoes or jewelry and the most expensive dress in her shop is only 80L.  There are so many great deals here I couldn't cover them all.  Besides being very generous, she is definitely a designer to follow.  

The Shine Dress in Silver is only 5L.  The texture and design are fabulous. The jewelry is the Memories Set at Deco (one of my total favs) at the Vagabonds location.  The earrings are only 1 L thru Friday (SLT) and the necklace is half price.  Check out the Maraschino set right next to it for the same pricing.  

The dress above is on of many dresses available in her Lucky Board.  She spares no expense in quality on the items you can get on the board.  The cute Robokun bracelet and ring are a group gift at *mocorin*. Check out the other cute cheapies on the wall.  This is an adorable shop.  The Zelda hat is one of many you can find for only 10L at Split Pea.  Melatonin Hax is celebrating the first anniversary of her store.  All hats with even a tiny bit of green are only 10L.  All sunglasses are also priced at 10L.  Look at the shop sign for a 1L princess hat.

The Lavender Summer dress is only 5L The candy flats are from Scribble (not free but darn cute). Again I am wearing the Memories set from Deco.  

The Jewel Doll dress is an example of a full price dress at :WhoNose:.  It comes with cute matching flats and shoulder jewels.  It is available in a nice array of candy colors.  I am in love with bags lately and the Robo & Moco bag from *mocorin* is at the top of the cute list.  The designer and owner, akinko Twine, is so nice and flipped the board to a wildcard so that I could get it.  She also showed me that you can camp for the cute shoes at the front of her shop by sitting on an egg.  I will definitely have to go back and do that.  The sunglasses are from Split Pea, one of many for 10L.  (I bought them all...cough)

You know I'm no good

Glastonbury Festival in the UK is one of the most famous music festivals in the world. I couldn't make it there this weekend, so I watched it on TV, (which is almost as good as you don't get covered in shit and mud and you can go to bed without the fear of someone pissing on you in the night).

Amy Winehouse somehow managed to perform at the festival, dispite being diagnosed with the early stages of Emphysema due to her high intake of serious hard drugs and fags. She punched a fan in the face and sang her heart out...good on her, she's a love or hate type of character, but I love her!

Well, when Francesca Balogh sent a notice to the Free*Style group about a store called Kazu, I TPd over and as soon as I saw this dress, I instantly thought 'Amy'. It's slinky and fitted, retro style with a thick red and black belt (this belt is a jacket layer so can be worn with other outfits). This is definitely a designer worth visiting, the clothes in the store are cool.



I made this pose here based on this pic of Amy so you can have it, in fact, I'll make a set of Amy poses and put them out for 1L soon. The white strap on the shoulder is actually a bag also free or 1L in Kazu, my bad, I forgot to get a good pic of it but it is super-stylish.

It's no mystery to anyone that knows me well, that I love bright colored, cute and fun clothing too!

I did a double take when I stumbled upon Utsuku City, a place that's full to bursting with venues where you can camp for items, including edge grafica (previously blogged on free*style).

There is a cute shop called AMIPuu with a gorgeous build where you can sit on your jacksy for 10 minutes to win an item. While I was doing my usual mundane rl stuff I did so and won this pretty Ami skin, helmet & hair, umbrella (with cute animation), bag, shoes & some cute leggings which I unfortunately forgot to show!

The skin is so cute, such a fresh complexion with gentle rosey cheeks, the eyebrows are very well done, to compliment the pretty skin I camped just 15 minutes for these pretty anime style blue eyes at Omeme. This funky chunky beaded choker by Wednesday Soon of [Woo's] (not yet released), lurvely group gift denim shorts from Cupcakes (Now $250 to join, but, if you see the quality of what mimi Coral has given so generously in the past I can only imagine what's coming!)& the Nylon Outfitters stripey skull sweater freebie goes perfectly with this ensemble!



You can see for yourself the wonderful details on the accessories and the cuuuutest teddy bears on the bag! They are a pinch for sitting down doing nada for 10 minutes!

50 Neko First Dates

I couldn't help but make a bad pun on that movie's title, because it captured exactly what G and I were up to yesterday. All kinds of different things you could do on a date in SL. Well, I can't promise they're overly normal things, but things to do just the same. And when G djs at the Zodiac Lounge in City of Lost Angels on Thursdays, he shows up as a junkie neko boi and pulls it off perfectly. It's highly questionable that I pull off his vampire girlfriend at all when I go listen to him, but I do my best. As for the neko thing, some of you have given me some great encouragement, so I thought I would give it a whirl with G and see what happened.

I was finally able to get to Rezzable's Aloha beach yesterday after G and I visited NekoGear. There's nothing like showing up at NG and seeing DarkLour Watanabe, the owner and probably the most badass-looking male neko in SL, in lifeguard gear! Yup, he's just made some kyoot beachy Neko clothing and lots of it is free!

I don't normally go for clothing with logos on it, but the logo is subtle and check out the ah..."details" on the kini top! I'm wearing the free flip flops and kini, and we're sitting on the free NG towel. I also have on the "Pirate Bead Bracelet from Accessories by Eolande that was a lucky chair gift.

The skin is a really gorgeous gift from the opening of Velvet Island, Bianca Foulon's new and very posh shopping sim. There are hearts all around the sim - find them to receive some equally posh gifts! This skin is called "Adriana" and it's from a LessThan3 gift heart. The "Kensei" hair from Truth is a recent dollarbie and the FlipSide "Starz" tats are available for $200L. My neko "Rent Punk" ears are from SWEET LEOnard and the tail is from Hybrid (both are not free).

Gecko has on the free NG trunks and flip flops as well as a free necklace and bracelet that is in a freebie-specific section loaded with good stuffs. His Belleza skin is available for free for group members in-store and the "Danny" hair is a dollarbie from Truth. The Hybrid "Counter Culture" ears and "Wasteland" tail are both available for $200 each.

Thundercats, hooo!!!

Yep, we turned into ninja cats in Straylight to goof off a bit after we got these freebies from Muism. (Don't all great ninja fight scenes happen while running on tops of trees with swords? Or was that just Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. That was the thought behind the location. Meep.) I'm wearing the "Sweet Peach Kimono" and he has on the "Sasaki Kojiro" outfit.

The poses we're busting out are by 5ifth Order. If you ever wanted to look badass with a sword, a gun, or even your fists, you want to visit Jonny Dusk's shop. Inspired by comic books, video games, and his own vivid imagination, he makes the most unique poses in SL hands-down (and they're great for all of the goofy adventures I like to go on and take pictures of, lol). There are also some nice fashion poses for both guys and girls. This "Non-Combat Sword Animation Ovverider" is available for $1350L, or you can pick up individual poses for around $100L each.

The Mushashi blades aren't even close to free and I'm an idiot just for buying them for fashiony pics, but Muism has cool free katanas to complete your look.

After the ninja cat shenanigans, we decided to get a little casual chic and go to my favorite blues bar, Toby's Juke Joint Blues Club. For our last Neko date, I have on the Zenith freebie dress from the Don't Ask opening Ashia blogged, and it's available just until tonight, so go get it!

The bag is a group gift from GaZoV Designs that is also available in-store. You must pick this up to at least see the kyoot box it comes in that celebrates soccer! The silver bangles are free from Lapointe & Bastchild's awesome sauce freebie area. The "Micha" hair is new from Philotic Energy and is available in a 3 color pack for $199L.

Gecko is wearing the Lapointe & Bastchild's Retro "Sunday Fade" shirt in light blue that is also in their delicious freebie room of goodness. The rest of his items are non-free but quite nice (hey, cut him a break - he hasn't been at this too long!), including jeans from Dutch Touch ($150L), Urban Bomb Unit "Sk8trs" shoes ($395L), and Ekstras' Ginza Wristband ($75L). I thought it most important that you see this this stunningly striking 'werd' skin from Unpredictable group, it's so unusual and really makes the eyes stand out, I loooove. So beautiful and perfect for those of you who like a vampire/gothic or even a neko look, there's also a male version.



It works so well with my findings from the LV's & Co. Cassiopeia Carnival which I think is on all weekend (maybe longer). Lots of freebieness to be found at many stores on the sim. I only managed to find a couple of items as I don't get much time to come online at weekends, so here's a lil taster.

I love seeing sl takes on rl designs. All those red carpet dresses, I can wear them in sl and pretend I'm a celebritard!! Wait......what do you mean you don't know who I am??!!



This first dress is based on a design the original diva herself has worn. Yus dear whitney, when she still had a booty and all her teefs XD! The sl version from Lemania is just lush.

I even downloaded the new rc so I could photograph this dress......



because for the life of me, I cannot get a system skirt to rez in the normal client! I'm not keen on the colour scheme of the rc, but hey, whatever it takes to bring you guys awesomeness!I had another dress in my inv I had been sitting on for the same reason, so now with a shiny new ability to see my skirts I can show you this. The colour is so rich and deep, I just love it.

The last outfit is something I won on the Awesome Designs lucky chair. I hardly ever win stuffs, so I was chuffed I tell you! It has a skirt and pants option, both terribly smexeh. The cute as a button bag is a limited time freebie I think, so hurry to grab it, in all it's sparkly glory!

Sexy Sloth Sunday

I'm enjoying my Sunday tremendously by imitating a sloth. I went to the zoo yesterday and saw a few sloths, and I thought to myself, "Wow. That's a good gig." Needless to say, there are some great freebies out there and I'll try to post them in between sloth fests on the couch with artesian beers (I'm obsessed with microbrews, much to the chagrin of my abs) and the boyfriend yelling at the TV during various sporting events.

I was thinking "Hollywood Sunday Brunch Sloth" and came up with this. The dress is a freebie from Dawn Shop that I snagged during that Asri Falcone teddy bear hunt for RFL that I blogged about earlier. It appears to be still going on and while I have no idea of the end date, it would be a shame if you missed it, as there are really nice outfits and skins to be had. The glasses are a freebie from [Mokoptica] that I just lurve. Head to the back of the store for those. The skin is called {Frick} Tan - Flourish (Purple Shadow) and is available from Fricka Morgath's store (which is chock full of fabulous Eloh mods - I'll show more soon because they're so creative and fun!). I love the fact that the skin comes with a versatile purpley-pink nail polish. It saves me from wrestling with poses and prim nails, which is usually a very, very bad scene. The hair is a group gift from Comme il Faut that a few Free*Style foxes blogged earlier and the shoes are Armidi Gisaci Rio Beleza Wedges (not free).

Then I imitated a schizo sloth and tried out the Neko thing. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm completely crap at doing the Neko, Vamp, Elf, and/or other various character thing on SL. I'm actually writing a series of articles about "finding my inner neko," but she just isn't there, so I suspect I'll publish it in about 75 years. I asked one person I know (who declined vociferously to have this quote attributed to him) about how to be a Neko, and he said, "Oh, just put on as much sh!t as possible. Bam! You're Neko."

Anyway, the hair is a =TEKUTEKU= freeebie Creamy blogged previously that seemed to fit the bill. The neko appendages are also Creamy finds from [OZ] Hiding Place that aren't free but *really* decently priced for the neko parts market. The skin is another freebie {Frick} find. The camo tank is by F.A.T. Designz and is free at the German fashion expo at Vanity Universe. The aquamarine Decollage eyes are free at the Gnubie store. The boots are the freebie "Legwarmer Boots" by Katat0nik that are free at Axis Mundi. The bracelet is a dollarbie from GaZoV DeSiGnS -- the designer, Greta Gazov, is putting out two new dollarbies in her shop each day until Friday! These were yesterday's and are no longer available, but you can pick up some killer neko-inspired freebies today that are kyoot-ness approved. The boombox bag is from I-Candy and was a gift sent out through the Fashion Consolidated group.

The kitteh is called "Sweet Leo Kitty" and is a group gift from SWEET LEOnard that is still available. The "crazy mouse" perched on my shoulder is really fun! He crawls around all over ya and is available for free from B2B Design.
Non-freebies but fabulous finds include the jeans and hospital bracelets from EBT Threads and Tattoos. (There's a 1/2 off skin sale that is *definitely* worth checking out with pretty makeups and beaten-up looks for only $300 Ls.) The lip piercings are from FlipSide. The panda leg bag is from *KANA-NA*. The "Ripped Leash" choker is from Good Life.

And yep, that was as much sh!t as I could put on, so hopefully that makes me a semi-genuine neko, lol. BAM!

From one of the notices that was sent out today I discovered the German Fashion & Style Show which runs from 17.5 - 14.6.2008 , so there's plenty of time to grab these great gifts, I was just desperate for some lag 'n rubberbanding :P
