The Galery Gift Shop Anniversary!

The Gallery Gift Shop is a nice monthly event were all items can be purchased with no copy/trans permissions, so you can buy and gift anyone with it.

This nice, pretty and cozy place is celebrating its first anniversary, and is you who earn the gifts!

There is a hunt going on until august 12th, so you still have time to find all gifts. There are some decoys, but at landing point you will find the hints, so it is really easy to grab all prizes.

Pesca has a fantastic skirt in the Lucky Board at the Gravis Beach location for only a few short days.  Only until March 6th can you get this fab long brown paisley skirt.  There are other colors for sale there, too, for some ridiculous low price.  I've been loving the new maxi skirts I've been seeing around the grid but they can be tricky to fit and this one is flouncy and has a resizer so it's very easy to wear.  I paired it with The Sea Hole's latest gift to subscribers, the zeebrugge body suit, though I left off the ruffles to accomodate the jacket.  Now Go!

The Adventures of Miss Crabtree, Chapter 1

Miss Crabtree timidly stood at the door of Mr. Shuffle's office.  Being the new girl in the steno pool,  she was eager to impress her boss with her skills.  The other girls twittered amongst themselves when they got word that Miss Crabtree was already being called to their boss's office, though a few others glared.  She had recently moved to the city from her family's home in Poughkeepsie to begin acting school and she really needed this job.  Mother had warned her that there the big city was no place for a single girl but Miss Crabtree was determined to succeed and become a star, like her idol Grace Kelly.  Anxiously she knocked on her boss's door and waited.  "Please come in, Miss Crabtree", he said in an authoritarian voice.  Mr. Shuffle sat at his desk smoking a fine Cuban cigar.  Behind him was a view of downtown as well as photos of his family.  She stood there paper and pen ready, waiting for him to ask her to sit and begin work.  "Now come closer, Miss Crabtree...".

Outfit: Baby Monkey.  The perfectly crafted pencil skirt is a group gift to Baby Monkey members.  Hours were spent creating multiple layers and lining up the seams.  Other colors as well as a belted style are available for a meager 50 L.  The pink blouse is free as a picks reward.  The argyle top is one of 3 available to all.  The new Sasha shoes are a dream.  Not free but menu driven for color change of shoe, heel/base, toenail options.  I am so impressed with the new line so please check it out.

Who loves Cupcakes? Me!

I've seriously sprained my ankle in RL or I would have shown you this earlier today with lots more pictures. Cupcakes is having now the sale to end all sales. Where to start? All summer clothing has been marked down to 100 L or less until July 4th. I'm talking lots of clothes, but check this out: lots of those clothes are 1 L!!! The catch is you have to find them. I am showing you two here but there are lots more! Also until the 4th is a special on skins. For every single skin (1000L), you will get a 1000 L gift card. For every fat pack of skin you purchase, you can chose a second skin pack for free!

But wait, there's more. At the front of the store there are 12 "gift bags". First, they aren't free. They are 250 L each but they are loaded with a skin in all tones, a shape, an outfit and eyes. If you belong to the Cupcake Update Group, which is now only 100 L to join, you will find out that quite often they are offering a 500 L gift card when you purchase on of these sets. The gift bags are only available until the 4th as well. The 500 L gift card offer is not all the time so the best way to find out when is to be in the group. I have purchased several because they are such an exceptional value.
Cupcakes is such wonderful group. Rosemary Galbraith and Mimi Coral are exceptional at both skin and clothing design (there is also a group gift in the archives now too). And if you are lucky, you might walk in like I did and see Mimi in a gorilla suit humping Rosemary's leg! What a treat! Speaking of legs, time for mine to elevate.

Great Finds from Great Designers

It's definitely not been a quiet week or two here in SL.  So many designers continue to offer us incredible items for little to no cost.  I cannot thank them enough for sharing with us and giving us a chance to know their work.  Let me show you a few of my favorite finds: 

First up is a gorgeous dress from the Lucky Chair at Ivalde.  Designer Nefaria Abel is one of the most generous in SL; frequently updating her Lucky Chairs, having sales and hunts with original designs.  I've been a member of her group for the longest time and have a folder in my inventory as proof.   She has moved her Lucky Chair to the upper level of the new store.  The chair has a short 10 minute wait and usually one of us from "Lucky Chair Stalkers" is there calling letters so it moves quite quickly.  I must thank Beanie Canning from the group "Give It Away" for sharing the info on this adorable dollarbie hair from Liriope.

So I've been crazy busy getting ready for Easter Sunday, eggs to be hidden from prying eyes/hands, before I can hop round pretending to be the Easter bunny and well hide them all again!! Also I've been having a crazy creative streak, and when that happens, I can't think of or do anything else. You can see some of the stuff I've been working on here, alot of it's nude content though, so if boobs offend don't look!



First up, this lovely, warm and cozy dress from the Lunas Boutique group. It's starting to get colder over here, and I find I'm wanting to dress my av in warmer clothes, (when I'm not nakies :P) Although the pieces appear to be no mod, there's a resize script, perfect from prim phobes like myself!



Here we have the weekly dollarbie from Concrete Flowers in the form of this super cute skirt. Paired with a dollarbie shirt from Fairytail. Check out my skin!! My friend Evangeline Schism from SchismPhrenic has been hard at work again, and you can get this skin free with any purchase from her.



Looky looky! Thanks to a tip from the chatbox, off I went to KA Designs. I was rewarded with a complete "Kate" from Lost avatar. There's a boys set too, you get everything you need except hair!!



Remember the hawtness from Dare Designs I showed you? The Enforcer set is now out in the main store, and the pink colour shown here is the lucky chair exclusive! But that's not all! Dare sent out the red mask set to the group. The mask set contains 2 versions of the gas mask, and the hat, so you can pair it with your own fetish wear. Midnight Mania And A Little Something Called Harry

Midnight Mania is relatively new in SL but is proving to be be terribly popular among store owners and shoppers alike. I have found so many new stores because of their MM board (read spent 40,000L in the last week alone oy)



The amazing corset piercing pictured came from a tip in our chatbox from a mysterious anon, as did the skin. Both are breathtaking, and I was so stoked with my new piercing, I kidnapped a wicked pair of boots while I was at Brimstone Creations that went perfectly with an outfit I was about to photo (more on that in a bit). The skin, oh wow, I love the eyeshadow. Doux Petite Dahl is a new to me store, and they have some breathtaking skins at stupidly affordable prices as well as some yummy clothes. I didn't have time to look round properly but I will be back!! (Sounded kinda ominous huh:P)



This landed in my inv a couple of days ago, and resulted in much squeeing in Dare monroes IM box. Apparently the outfit actually begun it's SL as just a skirt, and then as is often the case morphed into something else entirely! As with all outfits from Dare Designs, you get 657988780o options, pieces and ways to wear it. The boots are the ones I mentioned from Brimstone Creations, not free, but they were so perfect I had to have them. Check out my skin dammit! Meet Harry, the gorgeously freckled beautifully scarred new skin from Imagen. Only available at the Harold location, and totes not free. I hadn't been there in ages, and was actually looking for an outfit I saw on Welma's blog, but ended up with this instead. Pretty smexy no? The sunnies are part of an outfit from Lunas Boutique, not free, but there was a sale on last I heard. Don't quote me, I'm running so behind on everything, if I died tomorrow, I probably wouldn'nt turn up to my funeral till next year XD. Ash Out.

There's a whole wall of dollarbies, as well as a WTF wall, Creams you'll love it, unfortunately none of it was trans or I would have sent you something *special* :P The cute choker came from Kosh, conveniently located next door to Concrete flowers. There's a wicked scripted Neko set for free, and some really pretty dollarbie jewelery to be had. Thank you Ms Ames, heart you all over the place!!



ACDC, an Aussie tradition. Now you can wear em inworld thanks to Candace from Sweeter Than Candy, who sent this out to the group with the yummy boots shown. The pants shown aren't free, they're my faves though, you can find them at Axel.



Last but by no means least, this complete pack from Mayden Couture. The skin is included. It's very dark in tone, making a nice change from my favored "Death warmed up" choice of shade! There is some really heavy shading under the lips, which could have been made worse by my shape as it doesn't look as dark in the ad pics instore, best to try it on your shape to see how it looks. The makeup is beautiful though, and the body very nicely done. And now I'm off to get some chubby poses, as since making my shape bigger, I'm having "hands vanishing inside my body" issues. Yes, it's as painful as it sounds :P Ash Out.

Yes!!! It's new release time from The Black Canary. I unashamedly fan girl Morrigan, how could one not? Talented and totally fabulous to boot!



This "Frill Life", you will now find it in the lucky chair. The first time I saw Eden wearing this, I fell a little more in love with her (if only so I could grope the clothes!) The letter changes every 5 minutes, and if you're lucky, Morrigan will be there to keep you company! I'm showing it here with the hunt gift from Belleza, it just totally works with this look. Wait, wait..is this my first post since last year? Wow, I think it is, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I'm amazed that this blog is still here to be honest, I thought I would have drifted onto a new project long ago given that I have the attention span of a fly. Gosh what a busy day!! Yep last minute rushes before Xmas as usual for me. My kids finish school on Friday so I'm trying to get my shopping done before then, as I'll have no time (or inclination) do it after that.

I probably won't get so much SL time as Xmas is fast approaching, (I imagine the same goes for my fellow bloggers). Moar Proof Girls Can Wear Boys Clothes!

One of my most vivid memories of falling in love with the fashion feed, was an amazing post my Sasybum did on a boys skirt called Scavenger. She worked the hell out of that skirt, as did I when I ran to grab it and wore it in varying combinations for a month straight, no shit!



These outfits so remind me of that skirt. The Boeme dress above and the Battlemaster kilt below. On a tip from the ever luscious Green, these *had* to be in my inv and on my pixel bod. Can you believe they're free?

The lovely Blueberry Mayo sent me an offline to run grab these outfits from a hunt at Ayyaiyai. The outfit on the left in the first pic, I won on the lucky chair and lucky board while I was hunting. Lookit my monkey hat!! You can also get a panda version if your letter comes up. You're looking for 50 candy canes for an L each, fair warning, they're small. But alt click is your friend, as it said in the hunt card! And, and, winter hoofies!! Q's long suffering hubby indulged Ash's addiction to all things Lazy Places (confuzzled? Me too!) He even put up with me trotting round the house all day making snow crunching sounds and leaving hoof prints everywhere, must be love ay! Right, off to work for me. Morgan Kincess of Digital Eyes is my friend and I have hardly ever shown her creations on this blog, it's about time I did because she is super talented. Check this gorgeous hair she is giving for the POE hunt.

I'm wearing it with this sexy little Tango outfit which is a POE hunt gift from another talented friend of mine Ghanima Uriza of Blue Blood. This outfit includes a really gorgeous pair of boots which you can't quite see in the pic, the socks are a freebie from Juju's Closet (lots of other items in the freebie box for men and women).





This rabbit outfit by Blue Blood is not free, but what the hell, it's so, so cute. This is from Ghanima's new Harajuku collection. There's also a panda version.
