Snow Bunny

The Lucid sim is having a Snow Bunny event until Friday, February 11.  Five of the sim's stores are participating and it gives you an opportunity to pick up some cute items for few Lindens.

My shop, (census), is offering an adorable new shape, January, that will be available for only 50 L during the event.  After that it will be available at it's normal price.  I'm showing the shape below with (nushru's) Puff Snow Bunny dress.  It comes in 7 yummy colors for only 40 L each or as a fatpack.  I love the asian texture used in the dress.

*RezIpsa Loc* has darling Snow Bunny T-shirts.  They come in a pack with both a pink and blue version and have all the layers you need to wear them either tucked or untucked.  I paired them with the latest freebie from Hoorenbeek.  The lilac snowboots are available as a subscriber gift.  Generally, his gifts require you to be a subscriber for at least 2 weeks, so go slap it and return and touch the vender for these cute boots.  They come in several different version for lots of versatility

Two designers are offering adorable homes for cheap at the event!  buttons. has a charming lil' cottage for only 50 Ls.  It is only 51 prims and modifiable and copiable.  It has 2 floors.

A.D.D. Andel! has offered the first in her series of Seasons Skyboxes.  The winter one comes with tons of options.  It totals 84 completely rezzed and includes a full-moon sphere to provide winder effects. There are options to not rez the tree, planter, snowdrifts and snow particles to keep it very low prim. \ My photos could not do it justice so I taking the liberty of showing her ad.  You can pick it up at the bargain price of 75 L during the event.

While at Lucid you might want to poke around some of the stores for some cute freebies and cheapies from independent designers!  And! Before I forget, the poses I'm using are from Exposeur and are at a very special price of only 50 L over the weekend.  They are called Top Model - Spring 2011 and includes 14 poses!  It's a complete steal so go get them!

I will not make dirty references to the word SLOW

I was running over to DUunltd19 on the last day and I really liked the building it was housed in so I started to peak outside and discovered a whole bunch of my kind of happiness.  This is the first time in I can't tell you how long that I simply wandered around by myself and explored (shopped) with no particular mission in mind.  I wasn't blogging, I wasn't doing research for a post, I wasn't hunting or going to a lucky chair.  And I found great stuff, which I almost didn't blog, but it's too pretty and too sweet and the whole place is too tasteful to not share.  I am not showing you all the goodies I found so look around if you have the time.

Before I get too far into my tales of the SLOW sim, I wanted to gloat over the to-die-for jewelry that my awesome pal, Hempy Weezles from RIPE, is making for the upcoming jewelry fair.  The little bird skull pin is going to be a dollarbie and the hats (in other colors too) are going to be like insanely cheap unless she listens to me (which she probably won't do) and increases her price.  One of the reasons it's taken me three days to finish this post is I refused to take off this stuff.

The leggings are a dollarbie or cheapie at oyakin.  What I did was stretch the prims at the bottom to give them a slight flair.  They come in 3 different colors.  The babydoll top is not a freebie but at 90 L it's a good deal for adorable.

Before I forget, I completely forgot to shoot the adorable pink stripe flats that are the sim opening gift at oyakin so this is what I suggest.  When you get inside the store, stop at the table in the front room and get the darling shoes.  Then head to the back of the store and turn right down the hallway.  In the back of the next room there is a shelf with a bunch of freebies and dollarbies.  The leggings above and the dress and stockings in the photo below are items on the shelf.

The cute jewelry set is a new freebie at Beatnik and the old boots (in sky blue and grey) are are only 28 L at Clemantis. Every three days the color boot will change and on 10/1 they will be pink and green.  The boots don't seem to be mod or size change and they are size 0 so fair warning.

This fabulous, most excellent dress is a new group gift at Couverture, to celebrate the opening of SLOW.   There are so many ways to wear this sweet, flowy dress but I went casual and paired it with free leopard leggings from Beatnik as well a the darling feathers bag from RibboN.  Then to further delay me (<3), Sileny asked me my opinion on her skin for Humpday tomorrow and it's so cute!  Then Sabina Gully from Magika sent out an amazing subscriber gift of a fatpack of her new hair in the Delora style.

Sileny's new Twiggy skin has awesome painted on lashes which makes me very happy as I recently did some changes to my shape, not thinking that all my lashes would now have to be refitted.  While you are looking at my face, I wanted to tell you about this amazing little tat layer available for only 10 L at PXL. It is called a Skin smoother/lightener and it smoothes out all the unevenness of many skin tones.  If you are one of those people who have difficulty matching your skin tone to prim footed shoes you will find this especially helpful.  It can be used by either gender and is available thru this week.  Look for the box under the tree.  Magika's new hair is complete with all new textures and each color pack now contains 8 tones.  Color changes are now done thru a hud, reducing your inventory size.  The Delora style has 2 tones so what I did in the brown haired picture was use the blond hud for the secondary color to show how you can get additional effects if you have more than one color pack per style.

I'm Wearing a Lot of Blue Lately

G Field sent subscribers these fantastic short lace-up boots to subscribers yesterday.  They are in an exclusive lavender, which is quite dusky and I think works well with this dress from Mischief.  You can get the boots by joining the subscriber at G Field and looking in history.  They are extremely well made and available in other colors for a very decent price.  Also, Mischief, one of my favorite store for fun, sexy dresses, is having a great sale right now.  Several outfits are available for only 50 L as well as fatpacks at half price.  A few new releases are excluded but the other items are a steal!

Eden Loves Eve

I found out about this cute store, Kat, thru the group Lucky Chair Stalkers and I instantly knew I must have the dress, Eve.  This dress can be yours with only 160 slaps and when I looked last there were still a few spots left today.  It is lusciously sexy and easy to accessorize.  I went full-steam ahead on the accessories, disregarding the "one great accessory" rule I usually follow.   The dress pairs perfectly with the Lola Boots in exotic textures that you can win in the lucky chair at Baby Monkey in the main room (the 10 L sale on discontinued Ultimates is still going on in the other lucky chair room for some real bargains).  While you are at Baby Monkey, make sure you pick up the four sets of free prim nails.  They are scripted for color change and the gloves are tint-able to match your skin.  Thanks to Jelly Supply, also from Lucky Chair Stalkers, for turning me onto these great sunglasses from arrya that you can pick up for free as an  Eels opening gift.  Right next to it are also a free stump chair and some great bangles for both men and women.

Find Bob

LVS Drive has recently had a remodel and to celebrate, Bob, the dog, has taken a dress from LVS and hidden it somewhere on the sim.  Look for Bob and pet him to get it for 1 L. Every day Bob is moved so every day look in a different location. There is a picture of Bob at the landing point.

Ms. Putrid Gloom of Show Me On The Doll is having issues with the build for her new store, so she has opened up a temporary store at Slaughter City.  She is has a special on two of her items through the end of the week: the Off With Her Head dress and the Tippy Toe Boots in Bloody Black. The freakishly talented Evangeline Schism of Schismphrenic has launched a new skin line that I call her Camp Vamp line. Until Saturday the skins are only 30 L.  I added the clever Doll Horns from Rotten Toe, to complete the look.

Tigerclaw

Weeks ago, Sasy called all of us to do a limited edition hunt at Tigerclaw. For one reason or another, I totally forgot about my treasures, and they languished, unpacked in my objects folder. Then today, while dropping a fortune in Paradisis, I started looking for my lost treasures. BTW, there's a load of freebies on the second floor of Paradisis and three lucky chairs. Found with a copy/paste of the object name from Sas, I was stoked to get some incredible boots. We decided to head back to Tigerclaw to buy them in different colours (the hunt gift was blue and I wanted to buy them in black)



Boots bought, we explored. The sim has undergone some changes since we were last there, and outside, we found a whole wall of amazing freebies. The boots shown here, the belt, the vest, and so much more. This is cyber punk/ steam punk heaven, with everything from spine attachments to hoverboards, cyborg hands, leg replacements and anything else you could dream up.



The full price stuff is so ridiculously cheap, other colours of the boots for example are only 250L. You may now faint :P The cute skin is a limited time giveaway from Lara Skins, good for 10 days, as of yesterday. Both Paradisis and Tigerclaw are more than worth checking out for some amazing shit, free or otherwise. Ash Out.

Much Goodness

I am so so please to be able to show you the newest item in the Lucky Chair at Blue Blood. The Dress is called "Circus Freak" and comes complete with a lil skully boob bow and a nice large butt bow.. I adore my bows. The chair rotations through all the colors, so its a good idea to take some friends... Lucky Chairs are always better with friends!!! To me, it says naughty and adorably cute at the same time.

The boots shown are all from HOC and color change. If you have not been to HOC you are missing some of the best affordable basics out there. Srsly!! There are some glasses there that are better than ones I've seen priced at 100's of lindens. The shoes and boots are great and all color change as well, and there is stuff for both Men and Women!!

While checking out some of the stores that kindly gave gifts to us bloggers, I caught Marleen in the most rediculous outfit and hair. While she rushed to get ready, she noticed my outfit and loved it. So off we went. I stood, I posed and she snapped away.

Fooooooooosies Part 2

I'm back!

To bring you part 2 of an awesome shoe hunt. It was a personal hunt, not a store or gridewide hunt. Basically I said I'd do themed blog posts on here, to switch things up, and my rl sis loves shoes, so she wanted more on her avi. Obviously. I got so many of the darn things now, that I could basically just blog shoes all the time. But that would get a bit boring for me.

I've been designing like mad, thats the reason for lack of bloggage, but I should be fine for a bit.

Now on to the goodies!

I find myself planning my whole look around my eyes now. I hardly ever take off my House of Ruin eyes.



Purple has been creeping up on me, in both sl and rl, so I thought hey what the heck. I LOVE colours, smash them all up and throw them at me, I'll do some cool shit for ya.



For a girl that doesn't like to wear alot of prims, a tat can really add that bit of extra to an outfit.(me being that girl!)



This skin is almost perfect, a mash of colour, goes with the new found love of all things purple, and has great detail. Just wish I wasn't so darn dark. That is the only thing about SkinSane, love love love the craziness, but wish I could still be a ghost. This place has many little sales, cool combo promotions, free and cheap items per release. There is also a Lucky Chair here.

Renee Harvy's new shoes from her store Duh! totally matched my look. The purple was perfect! These ones aren't Free, but at L$20 for both a Gold buckled set and a Silver, how can you go wrong? Plus hit her Subscriber and look around, she has limited edition dollarbies.
