My First Video!

  Hi all!  I put together a look with almost all freebies/cheapies and was going to just put it up here like a normal post.  Well, last night my daughter was bugging me to find a way to make a video of her drawing pictures of foxes (she's obsessed with foxes, lol.)  I asked Plurk and they gave me some ideas and I finally found one.  When I went to edit this photo I decided, hey, why not record it?  So here is the picture and below is me editing it.  I didn't do a ton of editing and the video is long and kind of pointless but I am excited to learn to make videos so I had to share. :)  Enjoy!

Welcome Christmas Come this way

There comes a time in every relationship where one member tests the love of the other. Okay maybe not but Snow and I have reached this point. I love snow as much as any lil kid you could find and gosh darn it a few delayed flights and cancelled appointments aren't enough to defeat me! ^_^ That's my long way of telling you I'm sorry for being gone so long and hopefully it won't happen again on the way home! Now onto the goodies!

After a month off, WetCat group gifts are back with a vengeance! Christmas is Coming... the Cat is Getting Fat

We sing that song on the holidays because our cat is so fat we say we are going to cook him for Christmas dinner and I was at a loss of a name for the post...so.  Dear, sweet Fallacy DeCuir of FD Decor has so many wonderful things that you can get for free that will get your place completely in the holiday mood. I dressed up my avatar (you have to be matchy for the holidays) with some freebies from Blacklace, Baby Monkey and Mayden Couture.  Before I forget, FD Decor is also having a huge sale until the end of the year.   She will be adding prefab buildings to her line so she needs lots of room for prims.  Discounts are steep.

Killing Zombies Makes Trees Pop Out Sometimes

My favorite event in all of SL last year was the zombie killing Christmas event. I actually don't even remember what the prizes were because this event is so much more than the prizes. It's seriously FUN! Not many things in SL, structured event wise, are that fun anymore. You can only do so many hunts, go to so many clubs, and abuse gestures in so many stores before everything becomes ho hum. Basically what you do is go to the event starting point. Click the oh so sad reindeer for information. He is sad because someone turned Santa into zombies and now there will be no Christmas!! It's up to you to "purify" the Santas to save Christmas. Buy the male or female outfit box (whatever floats your boat :P) and wear. Resize your hair/hat to fit correctly then delete the script. Wearing the outfit adds to the fun and goofiness and reduces the lag for everyone. Grab the free pillow/weapon and TP to either the Love Soul or Nipponbashi sim.Hair: Love Soul, zombie event prize

When you see a zombie (they are all OUTSIDE of the stores, not inside) get close and click the ground. You will pillow smack them to death. They will either contain a prize-giving Christmas tree or they'll just fall flat and disappear. If there is a prize inside you don't have to click it or anything, it will automatically be sent to you. Only a small portion of zombies hold a prize. Seriously, a SMALL portion. The gifts come in the form of a boxed ticket. Inside the box is a voucher you wear, a long with the LM to the store where the gift is located. Blue Christmas

Some very snow-like finds for you since there is a massive blizzard heading my way in RL. The dress is the MM board version of the latest release, Sabrina, from Ingenue. I love the color so much, it reminds me of this one wrapping paper my sister used that was so awesome I liked it, even though I hate wrapping paper and usually make my own :P
And the details! The skin...yum! It's from Nuuna's and can be had for a whopping 0L under the Christmas tree at the entrance to Nuuna's/Vanity Hair. I have been a major lover of Nuuna's fun makeups and this did not disappoint me. The hair is 10L from Nightshade Designs in a hunt for cheapies from vendors on the sim. You're looking for gingerbread men and yes, most are 10L. The jewelry is the DTCH prize from Ticky Tacky. (TY Narita for sending me the copies so I didn't have to hunt xD)

Can't Wait 4 New Computer

So I took a ton of pics of awesome outfits and realized afterward that I am having massive sculpt rez issues :( So...while looking at these pics just imagine that the sculpted bits are smooth and awesome :P I shall be getting my new computer for Christmas and will be filled with joy and awesome graphics. Anyway...moving on to the goods!!

Pop Feel has this super cute reindeer outfit that you can get for only a 30 minute item camp. It's so fun, almost like a cave woman look, hehe. So it's the end of Boxing Day here. I'm sick, minime is sick and it's official......other peoples kids suck like woa!! Q's hubby has gone home for 5 days, so there is much sadness, txt messaging and token msn sessions!! And digesting (yup ate so much I swear I'm still trying to digest it all XD!)

Oh joy!! I can safely say that school holidays are in full swing, judging by the amount of assholes I've run into in the last 2 days. Anyhoo





On with awesomeness. The scrumptious Fae Eriksen from Fishy Strawberry has put out a couple of gifts for us for the silly season and and and a new lucky chair set! I've shown the top and the shrug from that set, paired with some (not free) jeans I've coveted since seeing them on Dakota, eons ago. They're from Tokeo Plastik, and after Creams and I had been to their latest fashion show (totes not cam perving on the hottest av on the grid, swear) I had to run get em. The beautiful chokers shown are from a store the luffley Eden sent me to, and I'm so glad she did. Sanu has some really special pieces. I fell in love as soon as it rezed. Sanura Sakai is terribly generous to her group, as well as being an amazing designer.





Tinker Hax sent me an IM to let me know that her store Amplify is having a hunt. The clothes shown here are some of what I found. There's 25 candy canes all up, you have to hunt "high and low". The hunt runs all this week so you have plenty of time!



A few months back, I posted about a gorgeous store I had found called Inara's Fantasy Couture. A massive wall of dollarbie silks can still be found there, as well as these stunning dresses you can camp for. The prize camps are a half hour each, so so worth it. Fantastic styles at great prices, most items are less than 100L and some are scripted to change colour/style. Exxessive Xmas

Hey people! I'm getting all Christmassy on yo' ass, hope you don't mind.

It's just I received the most gorgeous Chrismas outfit yesterday from Exxess, I have never been to this store before but WOW, I don't usually dress in a fantasy style, but this store is going to change all that. I was drooling over the sexy outfits, I think I want to be Egyptian girl.

This outfit is the Chrismas free gift and really the photo's don't do it justice, it has to be seen in virtual reality to see the way it moves, it is stunning. The boots and earmuffs also come with the outfit.

The hair worn below is not free but it is AWESOME so I had to have it, I have never seen anything like it, it comes with this spider like crown. There's loads more beautifully designed unique hairstyles at Exxess if you like something a little bit out of the ordinary.
