Love Donna Flora / Hucci and more Hair Fair

 I didn't do justice yesterday in my post with the gorgeous Hucci group gifts.  Join the subscriber as Eboni Kahn, creator of the Hucci brand, does not skimp on gifts.  This month she included exclusive pieces of two of her new releases.  Above I am wearing the Rouen dress with its bright pop colors.  Today I am showing two non-gift hairs from Hair Fair, both from favorite designers.  The hair above is Andrea from Wasabi Pills; MissAllSunday Lemon makes some of my favorite hair and I adore her textures.

The second group gift from Hucci is the adorable Oulu Romper again in an exclusive color.  The fabulous team over at Deco made the Hivish hair that I sport.  Deco is a store that is not afraid to get out there and they released several designs for men that really special.  There is also a cool dollarbie gift at their booth at Hair Fair 2013

The jewelry I am wearing are from my vast collection of Donna Flora goods.  I first learned about Donna Flora from the Free*Style blog, which I avidly followed way before I joined the team.  Squinternet Larnia, genius behind Donna Flora, always had some fantastic gifts which got me started and left me wanting more. She was one of the first truly elegant designers that I followed, especially her exquisite jewelry.  Squinternet is currently very ill with cancer that has metastasized to her bones.  Some lovely ladies are hosting the Love Donna Flora event that runs July 25th – August 24th to raise funds for alternative therapies and nursing care that she needs to keep fighting the cancer.  About a billion designers have created one of a kind items to help raise funds, items that are often inspired by their love of Squinternet's vast body of work.  The official blog has posts from a myriad of her fans in SL, including one by our very special Teshan Wycliffe, who is an amazing jewelry designer in RL. I was touched by the tributes and took me back to when I got so much inspiration from SL fashion, in which Donna Flora played a major part.  You may also leave a personal message of love and encouragement for Squinternet on the blog.  The sim that is hosting the event has been a bit wonky today so I cannot wait to get over there and begin shopping the event!

Welcoming 2013 With The 1980s.

What better way to welcome in the new year than with a touch of the old? The newest semi-shiny mesh top + almost-harem pants are a free gift from Emery that recall that grandest of excessive eras, the '80s. If you hurry, you can scoopie these free double-buckle strap, suede ankle boots to go with; a free black-trimmed, orange shoulder sac, free thermos + some $1L earrings + $1L swept-over bangs hair made this retro look extremely affordable to put together. Only this mauve lip glossed-skin + twisted rope headband aren't free (I just couldn't resist them with this look); and that's my RL pup peeking out here, who somehow snuck into this shot, hehe.

This new free shortie unisex hair gift by Truth pretty much begged to be styled with a boyfriend shirt; luckily, this new free polka-dotted one by Airflow was perfect for just such a look. Some snuggly lace-up suede boots (an oldie but goodie that's still free at Coco) + a free simple panda charm necklace finished this casual, but unmistakeably feminine look.

Happy 2012 Free*Stylers! Your Granny is a Star

December has these AMAZING glasses for free as a group gift.  The glasses have color and opacity changes for the frames, lenses, jewels, etc.  They can be worn on the face or on top of the had.  They have bling/glow/shine/jewel on or off options.  They are basically customizable to the max.  And did I mention they are free?  Yes, free.  This is one of the best gifts I have seen in a while!  Thank you MandyMandy!

While the glasses can be worn with an opaque lenses for a rock star look, with colored frames and lenses for a trendy look and more, I thought it would be fun to wear them over sized with the brown frames and semi-opaque lenses for a sort of fabulous retro grandma look. xD  The free texture testers from Lamb had the prefect gray to compliment that style.  I'm not even sure if these texture testers are meant to be worn out but hey, they come in all colors, are an adorable bob, and are free.  So yay!  And what fancy grandma goes without lots of jewelry?  None that I know of!  So grab the free set from Donna Flora to fill that need.

Girl Friday

The Twisted & Spoiled lucky chairs have some new loot (particularly the middle chair). This pinstriped, metallic pink free babydoll dress is just 1 of these pretty finds.
