Hunting a Friend or Foe

What Does The Fox Say?

Birdy / Foxes / Alchemy have moved and have some great specials for VIPS.  First up is a new skin group gift for VIP's in the 'pure' skin tone.  I love the almost porcelain look to Birdy skins, make sure you pop on over to the new sim and grab your group gift.
While you're there check out the Foxes store and grab some cute vintage outfits.  Just wear your tag and smack the pictures just inside the door. My Eclectic SLife

Hi everyone.  My first post as a blogger on Free*Style is packed full of freebies and cheapies that I've picked up in the last few days. I have a bit of an eclectic taste when it comes to fashion, accessories and furniture so hopefully I can appeal to a wide range of readers =)

All the furniture I have for you today are dollarbies from a new to me store called Frogstar.  It's all 100% original mesh and so cute.  I'm sensing that the creator is a bit of a book worm with all the book/reading related items. All the benches come with a heap of sit poses to choose from but I chose to stand up and show off my new outfit and I'm using a freebie pose from Pipit \o/

While I'm normally a dark colours and bold patterns kid of girl - I can't go past the cute stuff now and then.  The fox sweater from MoonAmore tickled my fancy so I had to grab it and while I was there I saw the skirt as well and through I could make a cute little outfit with the two of them. I want to talk about the skin for a moment before I end this post.  While it's not a special or discount it is a very inexpensive skin from a talented skin maker that was away for a while and has recently returned.  !Imabee is only on the MP at the moment and there are only three skins to choose from, but at $200L and under for the skins it's a steal!  They also come included with the SLink feet and hand appliers.

On The Boardwalk

The water glittered under the hot mid-day sun. Seagulls keened overhead as they flew in circles, and swooped to pick nervously at the discarded scraps along the beach. It was hot enough to fry an egg on a tin sheet, but the salty ocean breeze made the heat bearable. Glorious, in fact. The excitement was palpable. The tinkling of carnival music could barely be heard above the bustling crowd, eager to try their luck at the arcade.

Hey all! My lovely friend, Fallacy DeCuir, has opened Cobblestone, a new furniture and accessory store.  She spent a ton of time making the adorable build that will house the store and is beginning to fill it up with quaint and homey items.   As an opening special the new entryway desk set in blue will be only 1 L until January 21.  Cobblestone also has it's own inworld group.  It costs 100 L to join but you get a monthly group gift as well as store credits on all purchases.  For January the group gift is the adorable birdies on branches birdhouse.  I've shown both items with more detail below.  We decided to dress up in our new dresses and other stuff from this month's Collabor88 just for you!

 All kinds of cute items on the desk including a frame for a personal photo.  The lamp has it's own menu.

The birdcade does not have to be just for girls! That burly tree branch is made cute by three birdies and a cage that stays so clean with its newpaper lining and fresh birdseed on the floor -- awwwwww!

Hi there!  HANDverk is one of my favorite stores ever and for every Saturday in December they are having a fun event for inworld group members.  The group is free to join and for 25 minutes they will price a number of items down to 25 Lindens.  I'm going to give you a sneak peek of this Saturday's items, which includes an amazing mesh replica of the Wassily chair, a Bauhaus masterpiece.  Also included are 2 accessory sets, a scale clutch and serpent ring in yellow and separately, the super sexy Eve pumps, also with a yellow serpent. The shoes include both the red and green apple version so you can mix and match.  All the items will be transferable and make awesome gifts.  This is a serious good deal, y'all.  25 minutes prior to the event the inworld group will be notified. Quickly, I've not been online much because of RL stuff but on of my besties, Hempy Weezles, told me about this awesome mesh miniskirt that is a group gift at Happy Undead.  It is turquoise latex and it is HOT.  It comes in about a billion sizes and includes several alpha layers so it should fit nicely over many different booties.  I do advise wearing undies as the alpha layer does not hid your bits...or if you enjoy flashing...there you go.  I also thought the mesh shelf made for Royal Living's Great Outdoors hunt was pretty sweet at only 45 dollars so I wanted to show that too!  Take care!

Sun, Surf and Turf

I have a mix of things today for you.  I found some mesh things in the Mesh Around hunt that could actually be mixed and matched (gasp!) so I had to share them.  This dress is one of two styles you get (in multiple sizes, of course) from Happy Undead in the hunt.  I discovered that this soft, green top from Ingenue went smoothly over it so I had to combine them.  There is a pink one too!

My nails are a hunt gift from Moondance and I'm sorry I couldn't get a great shot (still trying to figure out the viewer I need to use to get around the rezzing issues I'm having, sadly) but when you see them up close they have a sort of lacy-gem-gothic style texture on them.  My hair is the Moolto hunt prize from Catwa and it comes in a few shades of blonde.  There's a male hair style for the hunt too! 

The skin I am wearing is a new release from MiaSnow at the Skin Addiction event.  As soon as I showed the picture on Flickr people were out asking me where the skin was from.  It's such an unusual look, but it's so soft and serene.  It's photorealistic in some spots but not so much that you end up in creepy uncanny valley territory.  Cleavage, dimples, eyebrow options, everything.  it's not free but there IS a free set of freckles at the event!  My jewelry is new from Hate Me and Eat Me and is also not free but I love it!  Green is my fave color and the girl in me that was raised Catholic can't get enough crosses.

Blue Christmas

Some very snow-like finds for you since there is a massive blizzard heading my way in RL. The dress is the MM board version of the latest release, Sabrina, from Ingenue. I love the color so much, it reminds me of this one wrapping paper my sister used that was so awesome I liked it, even though I hate wrapping paper and usually make my own :P
And the details! The skin...yum! It's from Nuuna's and can be had for a whopping 0L under the Christmas tree at the entrance to Nuuna's/Vanity Hair. I have been a major lover of Nuuna's fun makeups and this did not disappoint me. The hair is 10L from Nightshade Designs in a hunt for cheapies from vendors on the sim.
