Fantasy Faire is upon us once again with many fantastic and mystic realms to explore. As in years past, generous creators are offering exquisite wares with 100% of the proceeds being donated to Relay for Life. For more information peruse the official Fantasy Faire site. I will endeavor to bring you many wonderful sightings from my journeys there and back again.

.:Soul:. has eight skins up as donation items. Four for the guys and four for the gals in matching skin tones. This Forest tone of the Ceredil skins is perfect for Relay for Life as green is often associated with life and energy.

The male version includes appliers for Adam, Catwa, Genesis Lab and Omega heads with brows or no brows options. You also get ear appliers for .:Soul:., Bentbox and Logo ears. Body appliers for Adam, Omega, Signature (via Omega) and Slink are included as well as separate tattoo and body hair Omega appliers and gentleman applier. 

System layers (shown above) are included so if you haven't decided on a mesh head or body yet you can still wear this skin. If it looks this amazing on a system avi just image how it looks on a mesh one!

My First Video!

  Hi all!  I put together a look with almost all freebies/cheapies and was going to just put it up here like a normal post.  Well, last night my daughter was bugging me to find a way to make a video of her drawing pictures of foxes (she's obsessed with foxes, lol.)  I asked Plurk and they gave me some ideas and I finally found one.  When I went to edit this photo I decided, hey, why not record it?  So here is the picture and below is me editing it.  I didn't do a ton of editing and the video is long and kind of pointless but I am excited to learn to make videos so I had to share. :)  Enjoy!

MUDSKIN Group Gift

I've been pretty partial to just one or two skins for about 4 months now, which is a big deal for me, I used to wear a different skin just about every other day. Yesterday, [MUDSKIN] sent out a notice for a new free group gift which turned out to be this lovely skin called Blossom. The group is free to join. Calico's annual hair hunt and free skin from Frick!

I'm so happy to be making this post! Yesterday I got to spend time doing the annual Calico Creations Pumpkin Hunt. I did not find all 50ish pumpkins, but I did find at least 20. I'm showing three of the things I found here, the two hairs and this adorable huggy candy corn from ~silentsparrow~. Go to the sim and find the not-even-hidden pumpkins, and have an enormous new hair wardrobe. Some of the hairs are mesh, some are flexi, all are fabulous.

I'm also wearing shoes from Schadenfreude, group gift shoes that come in two great colors. They smile at me, these shoes, with an eeevil grin. The shoes suit Slink feet, which is good, because...

The last month and a half has been crazy for me, with RL and SL. I did manage to get some time this weekend to do some things in SL that didn't involve work, many of them being art related.

I went to the art exhibit featured on the YOSHIKAZE/HUMlab sim. It has 4 artist featured, with a common theme, Sound. It is something often overlooked in Second Life, most of us turn off all the noise, and only turn it back on for events and parties.

A long time friend and fellow designer, Alpha Auer, was one of the artists asked to participate for this exhibit. Her exhibit features sound pillars, which you have to listen to to hear a specific sounds. The sound combination you need to find will be played before you head out and interact with the pillars. What happens when you find it? You get the nifty outfit above! 

The set is unisex, includes a male skin, female skins and various attachments.

I'm not sure how much longer it will be on for, it has already been going on for a bit now. So head on over when you have some time, turn on your SL sound, and listen your way to an awesome gift.

I was surprised to find out that Tigerlily Koi was still on the grid and still creating. She may not be making hair anymore(She still has all her old hairs out tho, check out the Calla Sim!), but she does have a skin shop chalk full of lovely skins.

For those of you not as old as I, Tigerlily use to make hairs under the label of Calla. All her hairs were named after different flowers. She also use to have epic hunts around christmas, where you could get different styles in special and limited edition colours. I still have a box of her styles in my inventory, for nostalgia's sake.

She also took the sl grid by storm when she appeared nude on public posters as part of a campaign against content theft.

The colourful world of Shop Free*Style

You'd be surprised right along with me to find out that the above shot is is raw from Second Life. Other than the name and border, it was all SL. Yay for playing with shadows and windlight.

To those who know me *Waves* I am back, working on new projects, and of course, blogging. While I have not been online per say, my RL sister(Cherelle Capra of CIRCA) keeps me up to date.

Free*Style has always been a love for me. I joined the group in it's early creation, posting things that I found on the grid(in the beginning it was just a bunch of us out finding things), later I posted as a designer, until finally I joined the blogging team(as a guest designer blogger) in March of 2009. Yes, it will be 4 years as a Free*Styler in a few days. I have always blogged something a bit different, often doing themes, event coverage, or lists of places to find specific things.

While I may not always be posting(that is why the whole guest thing), Free*Style is always a part of my SL. It is with great honor that my sister and I were able to help with the next phase of it's life, helping to bring Shop Free*Style to fruition.

Now that the shop is live(as in open to public), I got out of my hermit hole to show you my top picks of opening day.

I have always been a collector of eyes, and our very own Rosemarie Indigo of Banana Banshee has a few things out at the shop(like many of our bloggers here at Free*Style). These eyes are in her gacha, only L$5 per play. There are a bunch of colours, showing here the emerald. So yay, got green on my first try, then guess what Stringer fans? I got the rose, which isn't rose, well not to my eyes, it is PINK! GAAAAA!

The totally awesome neon GREEN skin is by our very own Sileny Noel, in the gacha she set up. It is packed with "The Unusuals" skin collection, and only L$5 per play. LOVE!

The lashes are from Butterfly Kiss Boutique, and while the store itself is not yet open, there are a few items at Shop Free*Style. The label will be focusing on lashes for it's mainstay product, so it isn't any wonder that one of their free items is this curly set.

I also have Squeek's free offer on, which is a set of eyeliners. Yes, I am wearing a whole set of eyeliners! Jks, I have on the blue.

The thing that inspired this whole look, which I was going to blog even before I saw what else was in the shop, was this top from Spyralle. This is right up my ally, since my aim has always been to either cause a headache from the vibrating colours, or to look like a munchkin brought up his lunch of poprocks. I think this does both, and though not your typical SL fashion fair, I can't help but love it. I really want to find a neon yellow tutu to go with it, and wear like big @&$ combat boots.

The necklace is from Lasaki, also at the new Shop Free*Style, and it comes with facial tats, which I don't happen to have on.

Also, because I know you are going to ask, the horns are made by me, and I threw them into a gacha at Shop Free*Style. There are 12 colour variations, some normalish, some not so much, and a few in between.

I was seriously surprised at all the awesome packs, so if you are a blogger yourself, or you post on flickr, or just like to collect poses, it is seriously worth your while to go and look. I originally wanted to do an "on location" shoot, and had the help from a fellow blogger and general SLelebrity, Sasy Scarborough. She sent me to Rachel Breaker's sim, which is full of crazy. The shoot didn't really turn out, everything is huge, so to get good photos of both the sim and the avi is not the easiest. Add in shadows, and it is a bit of a nightmare. So I played with one of the shots, and thought I'd share =)

The big "V" day might be over, but there are still lots of great items up for grabs. There was a bunch of sendouts by various store last night, but my favourite item has to be this dress from Sysy's.

You can't see much of it, but the loft is another awesome gift, only L$1, from CIRCA. The striped shadowing is caused by one of two slated ceiling features in the loft. I had fun playing with the lighting to get this shot. The wall decor is the gift CIRCA put out for "For the Love of .... H&G Hunt". It comes in 4 variations/colours. FINALLY!!!!

I have been waiting and wishing and hoping for Tuli to come back and make new things in SL and finally it has happened!  YAY!!!!!  I can't even explain how excited I am.  What adds to my excitement even more is that Tuli has two skins at The Dressing Room Fusion for only 70L each. :O  She has the one I am wearing here and another one that has a slightly softer pink makeup.  Welcome back Tuli!

My hair is a free fatpack from Catwa.  It's only available through the 7th so hurry!  You must join the inworld group to get it.  My tattoo is from Half Deer.  I got it as a hunt gift a bit ago but I am not sure it is still there.  I forgot to check before logging off and now I can't log in again until tonight.  Blargh!  I'll update this when I find out.

I'm still all about the gray and silver and white hair lately.  It might end up being my go-to color.  That would be so weird for me but, hey, we all go gray eventually, right? :D  There are more colors than whites in this hair from Alice Project, however, so if you like blonde, red, black, etc. then you are still in luck!  This style, Helga, is included in the hunt gift but the real main attraction for us Alice Project regulars is the new Hud color pack included!  The hud has special streaked colors that have not been released until now.  Woo!

My skin and eye makeup are both free from Adam n Eve.  I went to get the eye makeup and saw the free skin just chilling out in the skin area.  I was like omgggg and snatched it up right away.  I don't know how long it will be out so grab it while you can!  The eye makeup is a free tester (like a wearable demo) you can find right above the full version.  Other styles available as wearable demos in the area too!
