  MiaSnow, one of my favorite creators of all time in SL, has a new skin line out.  To celebrate she has put out this lovely version for only 1L.  It's so cute!!  I can't wait to get some money because then I plan on buying the whole line, seriously.  Om nom nom.  Anyway, lol, the store she is currently selling her skins at is called Mia14.  She named it this way so when you go to organize her skins over the years you will easily know which year it's from.  Plus, it's fun!!

  My necklace is from Luminary at The Surreal Complex.  I am loving this event because the items are so creative and unique.  Some people really went with the theme and I love that.  This necklace includes both gold and silver versions to match your look.

Pinkie Fly

I know doing the whole "tinting everything in a picture black and white post-process except one color only" thing is a blogger cliche but I just felt like doing it anyway.  This pink is just so bright and fun that I had to!  This jacket is a mesh item from a new to me store called "Wha†ever" and is a group gift.  It comes in lots of sizes.  My hair is from Alice Project and is also mesh.  You can grab this up in the Mesh Around hunt.  There is a hud with it that allows you the change the color and tips and streaks to about any combo you can imagine.  Such a generous gift!!  My necklace is not free but is available at the latest Chic Management event from RezIpsa Loc.  I have a thing for cameos so woo!

Sun, Surf and Turf

I have a mix of things today for you.  I found some mesh things in the Mesh Around hunt that could actually be mixed and matched (gasp!) so I had to share them.  This dress is one of two styles you get (in multiple sizes, of course) from Happy Undead in the hunt.  I discovered that this soft, green top from Ingenue went smoothly over it so I had to combine them.  There is a pink one too!

My nails are a hunt gift from Moondance and I'm sorry I couldn't get a great shot (still trying to figure out the viewer I need to use to get around the rezzing issues I'm having, sadly) but when you see them up close they have a sort of lacy-gem-gothic style texture on them.  My hair is the Moolto hunt prize from Catwa and it comes in a few shades of blonde.  There's a male hair style for the hunt too! 

The skin I am wearing is a new release from MiaSnow at the Skin Addiction event.  As soon as I showed the picture on Flickr people were out asking me where the skin was from.  It's such an unusual look, but it's so soft and serene.  It's photorealistic in some spots but not so much that you end up in creepy uncanny valley territory.  Cleavage, dimples, eyebrow options, everything.  it's not free but there IS a free set of freckles at the event!  My jewelry is new from Hate Me and Eat Me and is also not free but I love it!  Green is my fave color and the girl in me that was raised Catholic can't get enough crosses.

OK I have no title, my brain no worky good today.  I have been having tons of problems rezzing items, changing clothing, etc. on my man av and haven't got to blog nearly enough.  I found I am able to take pics on my male alt though so that's great!  Well, sort of great since I don't take wonderful man pics BUT it helps to calm the blog bug at least.  Anyway, enough rambling.

This mesh jacket is a hunt gift from Kauna that I thought was pretty cool.  Every time you wear it the color changes and you have no control over that.  This time it was green and royal blue, another time it was purple and baby blue.  You never know!  While you can't exactly pre-plan an outfit around the jacket, it's fun to see what color you get each time.

There is a new mesh clothing store out called One Bad Pixel.  The items are brand new, all original, creations from two seasoned SL creators.  The items are very well made and quite sexy.  To get you into the shop they have these awesome pants as a subscriber welcome gift.

My hair is from Alice Project and is currently 75% off through the 30th of April.  *All* the hair is 75% off, actually.  The color packs (with a few exceptions) for all the mesh hairs start at only 50L!!  I grabbed quite a few styles and plan on going back for more.  Speaking of sales, you can grab this skin from MiaSnow for only 100L.  ALL of the skins for MALE and FEMALE upstairs are only 100L per FATPACK.  Yes, I said fatpack.  100L. I was looking around Marketplace out of boredom the other day and I stumbled across this pretty cheapie shirt and neck scarf combo.  I'm all about finding new places for meshy goodness so I thought I would share this.  Plus, hey, pink and hearts for the win!  I like the sort of innocent feel of the pattern and higher collar with the naughty cropped bottom and I thought wearing the hair bridle from Hate Me and Eat Me with it would add that extra sauciness to it.  My skin was a hunt gift from The Skin You're In and unfortunately it doesn't appear to be available any longer.  There are, however, other hunt gifts and MM boards, etc. in the store so check it out.

A Very Beary Christmas!

I'm just jumping in really quick to show you this adorable polar bear decor from MiaSnow.  MiaSnow is an awesome designer and her store has been one of my faves for a looooong time.  I often show her skins, makeup, clothes, accessories, etc. but now it's time to show a little something different.  The bear sits on top of a little snow pile and some snowy, glowy grass with all kinds of fun sparklies.  The star flashes colors.  The colors are pretty vibrant but for some reason all my snapshots captured the star when it was in mid-blink and dark. -.-  Anyway, grab it free in the Midnight Mania board at MiaSnow main store!  The target is only 99 so go fast before it locks.

I plan on showing more of the awesome not free goodness from MiaSnow on my other blog but OMG December is such a busy month when you own a store and do events!!!!  Sooo tired.  *Passes out.*  See you guys!

A Different Sort of Ship

I'm normally off on a different sort of ship. You know, the kind that goes around space? but that is another tale to tell.

This one is of Pirate Helena!


It's not often a woman of my caliber crashes anything. Specially a ship, but it does happen from time to time, normally after a few centuries of boredom.

What you need when you decide to do something like this is a hot little outfit to win over the locals!

Too bad where I decided to crash it was home of foot tall furry critters all running around and fishing. Still to this day this world amazes me. Wonder if they would be yummy to eat? *ponders*


To appease the denizens of your new home, you must have something on your body. Deviance is the place for costumes of all sorts, and there is more then a few in the Lucky Cupcake(Like this Pirate Costume, previously blogged a year ago in the pink version) and some others in the Lucky Chair. Surreal makes wonderful garments that are constantly on this blog, she is generous, talented, and a dreamer at heart.

Next to be a real pirate you need your eyepatch. Do you really NEED one? NO. Do you really WANT one? Yes!

But why go normal, go all out! This eyepatch is a special gift from Actuate Eden to celebrate their new store. Thank the gods it wasn't pink, I'd have cried!

As with most things, I'm not totally right. A far bit of strange was to be had on the sea in my merry vessel.
