We have 2 floors of goodies for you by many of our favorite designers.  The items will generally be priced at L$0 - 10, L$25 and L$50.  There is a wide range of great items at each price range.  There are also gatchas, which you can find on the second floor.  Just a reminder, this is a store and not an event, so some designers won't have their item out right away and we have a few places left to fill.

The store was created by Tobias Convair of HANDverk.  He and I are both huge Frank Lloyd Wright fans and the build is a tribute to Wright's Usonian style.  He will be selling a full scale version at his shop (sans the logo).  It is a perfect set-up for a chic store or home.  The parcel has been lovingly donated by Cherelle Capra of Circa and Helena Stringer, the lovely Free*Style blogger and owner of Stringer Mausoleum.  I want to officially thank Toby, Cher and Helena for their amazing generosity.  This project could not have happened without them.  Another round of applause for all the amazing designers that support Free*Style and are offering some amazing steals for you!  There are tip jars out for the Toby, and Cher/Helena -- if you enjoy shopping in lovely settings as well as appreciate generous folks that support our non-profit endeavors, please donate their way!  Some of your favorite bloggers have also set out tip jars, like we used to in the old days.  We work hard and receive no compensation...we do this because we love SL!  See you there soon!

Cobblestone

Hey all! My lovely friend, Fallacy DeCuir, has opened Cobblestone, a new furniture and accessory store.  She spent a ton of time making the adorable build that will house the store and is beginning to fill it up with quaint and homey items.   As an opening special the new entryway desk set in blue will be only 1 L until January 21.  Cobblestone also has it's own inworld group.  It costs 100 L to join but you get a monthly group gift as well as store credits on all purchases.  For January the group gift is the adorable birdies on branches birdhouse.  I've shown both items with more detail below.  We decided to dress up in our new dresses and other stuff from this month's Collabor88 just for you!

 All kinds of cute items on the desk including a frame for a personal photo.  The lamp has it's own menu.

The birdcade does not have to be just for girls! That burly tree branch is made cute by three birdies and a cage that stays so clean with its newpaper lining and fresh birdseed on the floor -- awwwwww!

Paint it BaLaC

So I was standing around this lucky board with some of my fellow Lucky Chair Stalkers and one of the gals starts talking about this coat she was wearing and of course we all went "OOOO",  because that is what we say, so I went there and got it and bought some more stuff from this really nice new store, BalaC.  Then I got really excited because I saw that there is also a free men's version.  Also the men's version comes in 2 sizes.  I thought it would look great as part of a classic Ivy League girl look so I paired it with Baiastice's classic sweater/skirt set at The Dressing Room Blue.  The hair from Exile is also a steal the TDRB.  The skin is from the lucky board (group only) at Yuki.  There are 4 boards and a steady crowd so you can win fast.  I added some color to the lips with a tat layer lipstick from Cheap Makeup (dern, I'm loving these makeup layers!)

Finally! Pididdle!

The adorable Brutus Martinek from Pididdle has been planning on opening a new main store on the Existence sim and it opened today!  To celebrate she has made some season themed versions of some of her new releases.  They are hidden in 5 easy to find pumpkins and will cost you nada.

The Beirut Jeans in "That Creepy Feeling" version as well as the Obsessions Top in "Pumpkin Patch Party" as well as the Boo necklace are 3 of the items you can find in the little hunt.  I added the non-free Beirut Vest in black because it's such a madly versatile piece, plus I think its really sexy.

Check out the amazing texturing on the Obsessions Top.  I love Brutus's attention to detail.  All her new releases come in about a billion colors, which makes it about impossible for me to buy only one.  Thanks, Brutus, for all the fantastic gifts!

I will not make dirty references to the word SLOW

I was running over to DUunltd19 on the last day and I really liked the building it was housed in so I started to peak outside and discovered a whole bunch of my kind of happiness.  This is the first time in I can't tell you how long that I simply wandered around by myself and explored (shopped) with no particular mission in mind.  I wasn't blogging, I wasn't doing research for a post, I wasn't hunting or going to a lucky chair.  And I found great stuff, which I almost didn't blog, but it's too pretty and too sweet and the whole place is too tasteful to not share.  I am not showing you all the goodies I found so look around if you have the time.

Before I get too far into my tales of the SLOW sim, I wanted to gloat over the to-die-for jewelry that my awesome pal, Hempy Weezles from RIPE, is making for the upcoming jewelry fair.  The little bird skull pin is going to be a dollarbie and the hats (in other colors too) are going to be like insanely cheap unless she listens to me (which she probably won't do) and increases her price.  One of the reasons it's taken me three days to finish this post is I refused to take off this stuff.

The leggings are a dollarbie or cheapie at oyakin.  What I did was stretch the prims at the bottom to give them a slight flair.  They come in 3 different colors.  The babydoll top is not a freebie but at 90 L it's a good deal for adorable.

Before I forget, I completely forgot to shoot the adorable pink stripe flats that are the sim opening gift at oyakin so this is what I suggest.  When you get inside the store, stop at the table in the front room and get the darling shoes.  Then head to the back of the store and turn right down the hallway.  In the back of the next room there is a shelf with a bunch of freebies and dollarbies.  The leggings above and the dress and stockings in the photo below are items on the shelf.

The cute jewelry set is a new freebie at Beatnik and the old boots (in sky blue and grey) are are only 28 L at Clemantis. Every three days the color boot will change and on 10/1 they will be pink and green.  The boots don't seem to be mod or size change and they are size 0 so fair warning.

This fabulous, most excellent dress is a new group gift at Couverture, to celebrate the opening of SLOW.   There are so many ways to wear this sweet, flowy dress but I went casual and paired it with free leopard leggings from Beatnik as well a the darling feathers bag from RibboN.  Then to further delay me (<3), Sileny asked me my opinion on her skin for Humpday tomorrow and it's so cute!  Then Sabina Gully from Magika sent out an amazing subscriber gift of a fatpack of her new hair in the Delora style.

Sileny's new Twiggy skin has awesome painted on lashes which makes me very happy as I recently did some changes to my shape, not thinking that all my lashes would now have to be refitted.  While you are looking at my face, I wanted to tell you about this amazing little tat layer available for only 10 L at PXL. It is called a Skin smoother/lightener and it smoothes out all the unevenness of many skin tones.  If you are one of those people who have difficulty matching your skin tone to prim footed shoes you will find this especially helpful.  It can be used by either gender and is available thru this week.  Look for the box under the tree.  Magika's new hair is complete with all new textures and each color pack now contains 8 tones.  Color changes are now done thru a hud, reducing your inventory size.  The Delora style has 2 tones so what I did in the brown haired picture was use the blond hud for the secondary color to show how you can get additional effects if you have more than one color pack per style.

Eden Loves Eve

I found out about this cute store, Kat, thru the group Lucky Chair Stalkers and I instantly knew I must have the dress, Eve.  This dress can be yours with only 160 slaps and when I looked last there were still a few spots left today.  It is lusciously sexy and easy to accessorize.  I went full-steam ahead on the accessories, disregarding the "one great accessory" rule I usually follow.   The dress pairs perfectly with the Lola Boots in exotic textures that you can win in the lucky chair at Baby Monkey in the main room (the 10 L sale on discontinued Ultimates is still going on in the other lucky chair room for some real bargains).  While you are at Baby Monkey, make sure you pick up the four sets of free prim nails.  They are scripted for color change and the gloves are tint-able to match your skin.  Thanks to Jelly Supply, also from Lucky Chair Stalkers, for turning me onto these great sunglasses from arrya that you can pick up for free as an  Eels opening gift.  Right next to it are also a free stump chair and some great bangles for both men and women.

For a morbid soul like me, Halloween is a god send. It answers so many questions in one awesome little word. "Why are you covered in blood Ash?" "Halloween" "Why are you impaled on an AFK spear Ash?" "Halloween" "How come your eyeball just fell out Ash?" "Duh cos it's hawt :P"



Are you a member of the Cynful subscribo? You should be, cos apart from regular gifts that are the smex, you get to be first to hear about new releases and such. Some of you may have this already, but it was re-sent this morning, and seeing as my inv has been playing up, I was stoked to have this outfit again. They also had a yummy Halloween dollarbie out last time I went, it may still be there if you get a move on.



Sugarcube has opened a store in LeLook and this dress is free for a limited time. You get every layer combo which I love, especially cos I'm usually all tattooed up. The amazing photo sets I used aren't free, but if you have some spare cash to splash, these and others at Lost Angel Poses would be my pick. Shown here is "Last Call" and "Loved You". Pretty Church Fuses Melons and Cupcakes

Definitely a crazy name for a post but how else do I recognize all the great finds I have to show you?  Aemilia Case, of Philotic Energy fame, has opened a new sim and has started a new brand called Fusemelon, selling a wide range of products including hair, clothing, accessories and builds.  The PE store has moved there but with reduced stock. There are great wearable color demos for both men and women in the hair section.  I'm wearing the women's demo, Taken All.  It's so fab!  There is also a gift bag in the shop (you can't miss it - it's everywhere).  Walk around the sim and find the exclusive freebies from Sugar Mill and there were some cheapies at Philotic Energy that were new to me. Omaire Abattoir from O-Magine Homeworks and Ravyn Hynes from Mudhoney did a fantastic job on the builds.

There are some great sales going on now that I have really enjoyed.  Church of Luxe has almost everything on sale for 50 L right now and fatpacks are a steal.  Pretties by JB is rebranding to ala mood Boutique and all shoes are currently 25 L with supercheap fatpacks.  Cupcakes now has 15 gift bags out at 250 L each which includes an exclusive skin in all tones, an outfit and eyes.  You don't need to be a group member to purchase these and it's a great way to try out their skins for very little cost.  The collar I'm wearing is part of an amazing Roman collar/cuff set currently in the Midnight Mania board at Inca Temple.  The board only needs 100 slaps to get the item and when I checked a little while ago it was about halfway there.  It has intricate engraving and is fully scripted.

An Atomic Dare

Dare Munro is my go to guy for smexy clothes. When I need to feel empowered, I usually turn to his latex. This is Flux, a multi layered, full outfit with boots included.

The opening of Atomic (as covered here by Cas) has relieved both Sas and me of many many lindens. Oh the piercings and tatts, yes......... I'm swooning. Wow it's been awhile!! SL and RL have gotten so busy in the last couple of weeks, and I was doing my best to keep up.......then I just said fuck it, and started hanging out having fun instead. Most of yesterday was spent waiting for Nishant Zobovic to put out the hair we had been waiting very impatiently for :P While waiting, Sas and I tried to sort inv, then she got dizzy from throwing stuff away, and I thought it best we stop!



Most of you would have this amazing preview from the Tuli group, but if you don't, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY grab it now! "Hope" is stunning. You have a choice of tones and brow colours, which is awesome.



Pididdle has opened up at Fashion Mode, and looky, special dollarbie make up for yooooos. The makeup is so cute, and again you get a choice of tones.



For a couple of weeks now, girls have been asking in fashion emergency, and other groups I'm in, "What's happened to Lazolli?" Buggered if I knew, but I did love that store with a deep and burning passion. The skin shown here has been in my inv for a bit. I didn't know who sent it (thanks to capping and crashing on logging in). I went to the store to have a look round last week, then got distracted by IMs and forgot why I was there ;P Fast forward to this morn and this post, and I was like oooh I have that skin, then the penny dropped! Thanks for solving the mystery Narita!! Sooo, the point of that ramble is, Lazolli has rebranded to L'oring, this skin is free for a limited time, go grab it! It's the Jorden skin, the one Narita posted is Takako, both still avail at the time of posting for free.



Here's a new release from Dare Designs, this colour is the lucky chair exclusive. The Enthralled set is beautiful, I love the options that come with all of Dare's clothes.

I'm so happy happy this morning!! I have the house to myself again as I had given my roomie notice, and he's gooooone!! I know it's mean to celebrate so much, but some people you can live with and some....well lets just say you can't :P The concurrent theme for this post is lucky chair exclusives. Things That Make Me Crash

We'll get to the crashing bit in a mo! First, my other RL best friend Honey gave birth to her beautiful daughter Summer Rae yesterday afternoon. She was born very quietly at home with not much fuss at all, fed for ages and promptly went to sleep!! Honey was the first one of our group to get married (ps she's still the only one that's taken the plunge!) and everything has come full circle for her. Congrats to mum and bub and all the family, heart you and miss you all terribly.





Now onto the clothes!! Silk & Satyr is a store I featured a few weeks ago. They have a beautiful group gift out at the moment, 3 arm cuffs *scans photo to make sure she actually remembered to wear one*! The silks shown are dollarbies at the main store, the second set can be found at Vanity Universe. Which brings me to the title of my post.



All the clothes shown here are either dollarbies or cheapies from various designers that have set up shop at Vanity for A Winter Fairytale. It's a charity event for Care International, with limited edition clothes you can purchase for a donation to the charity. I don't know what it is about that sim, but my computer hates it. I walk into walls, do the never ending walk out of the sim, under water etc. The skin shown in all the Vanity pics is one of the amazing Chai skins I got from the hunt.



Things that make me crash: Walking, not walking, turning off my Mysti, leaving my Mysti on, taking off my AO, leaving my AO on, going bald, wearing hair, moving my camera, forgetting to light the incense on my Linden shrine, lighting the incense but not bowing down to the shrine, opening my inventory, leaving my inventory closed, lowering draw distance, raising draw distance, gesturtarding, resisting the urge to gesturetard.



Taking photos, not taking photos, changing my lighting, leaving the lighting on default, talking in voice, not talking in voice, opening an IM, ignoring an IM, having PS open at the same time as Sl, looking at the PS icon on my desktop before opening the program, taking a RL phonecall, sending a RL txt. Changing skins, rebaking, changing anything on the advanced menu. I think I have it all covered!!! If I left anything that makes you crash, feel free to put it in the comments!! And to make myself feel better about all the damn crashing, here's another taste of my boys Kings Of Leon. This one has it all, moody drums, epic guitar solo, and Caleb, looking so fragile...totes enjoi! Ash out.

Bloody Kat Munsters!

Ash is having a couple of total crushes atm. The first being Lolli Munster hair. The hair worn below is from the new store, not free, but colour and size change scripted and sooo worth the L's. You can see another of Lolli's yum styles as modeled by our fabulous Ach (yeah I'm doing the Aussie thing and claiming anything awesome as our own!!)



Why am I telling you about a new store with non free hair? Weeell, see the macarbre blood covered dress I'm wearing by Katatonik? *Whispers* It's a linden at the new Lolli Munster store, see how I look after you!! Fankyoo to Ach for the tp before the place got bombarded, gave me a chance to shop XD!!



Our Dahl posted the amazing skin Miasnow has bestowed upon us for Christmas. Well of course I rushed off to grab it, but I was having an awful day rezing stuff (as in it just sodding well wouldn't). I found the tray Dahl was talking about, and clicked it a couple of times. And I got food!!! A gingersnap and a cupcake, nomnomnom. The supercute tank top is one of a million and twenty seven gifts from an amzing store called AKI Kimono. The beautiful eyes I'm wearing are also a gift from there.



Just what I need, as I never ever remember to put my busy sign on!! You get 4 different ones in the pack.

These gorgy skins are from the Little Bird Nation lucky chair, the ones above are the Elf set, the ones below the Goth set. They come with the eyes shown, a shape and eyebrows (not shown). You can see why everyone's desperate to get their hands on them, they're so delicate and beautiful.





You'll need to have you wits about you to get anywhere close to the chair!! The Doll set eludes me, but I shall prevail! If you're smart, you'll deprim completely as at any given time the sim was packed to capacity. For the most part, everyone was really well behaved and having a great time, save the odd one or two. Let's remember our lucky chair etiquette, especially when a store is so busy, and FYI, saying you're going to spit on the chair is, A: Gross and B: Very unladylike behaviour, you know who you are!

Even I can manage it. They're not free, but so worth the lindens IMHO. The hair is a freebie from Magika, that can be picked up from Hair Fair.





It was checking Adi's post that led me to the title of mine!! Once again, I'm running round the house singing badly, while my daughter yells "shuddup mummy I'm trying to watch the Wiggles"!! Well excuuuuuuse me! Katatonik has put a new dollarbie out at the Free*style main store, the Ghostfire dress in blue,it's out of this world (punny pun punnnyness)!! I'm wearing it with the amaaaazing Wish hair, which at the moment can only be picked up at Hair Fair







And bubbles!!! I stalked the HPMD lucky chair till I was triumphant. I saw off many other a's including mermaid Ach!! You get 6 different bubbles, each with it's own super kyoot pose, and the poses seperately, in case ya wanna stick em in some other random piece of furniture! I have furniture and houses in general on the brain, having just packed up my store and moved, and found one of the best sky boxes I have ever seen!! I will be taking lotsa pics in my new home woot!!! A massive thankyou to Suri Christen, who helped me more than I can say in terms of decorating my home, with some pretty unique and quirky items.
