What Does The Fox Say?

Birdy / Foxes / Alchemy have moved and have some great specials for VIPS.  First up is a new skin group gift for VIP's in the 'pure' skin tone.  I love the almost porcelain look to Birdy skins, make sure you pop on over to the new sim and grab your group gift.
While you're there check out the Foxes store and grab some cute vintage outfits.  Just wear your tag and smack the pictures just inside the door. There is the Peplum top on it's own, the crop top and high waist skirt and the bustier with lace trimmed skirt.  The bustier also has straps which you can add on or leave off.  Beside the outfits you can also pick up your own cute little fox to hold, he comes in blue or pink.   The cute little pocket pet and the black cat at my feet can be found in the lower level beneath Foxes.  They are past gachas from events and you will find a whole wall full of various ones to play.

Cobblestone

Hey all! My lovely friend, Fallacy DeCuir, has opened Cobblestone, a new furniture and accessory store.  She spent a ton of time making the adorable build that will house the store and is beginning to fill it up with quaint and homey items.   As an opening special the new entryway desk set in blue will be only 1 L until January 21.  Cobblestone also has it's own inworld group.  It costs 100 L to join but you get a monthly group gift as well as store credits on all purchases.  For January the group gift is the adorable birdies on branches birdhouse.  I've shown both items with more detail below.  We decided to dress up in our new dresses and other stuff from this month's Collabor88 just for you!

 All kinds of cute items on the desk including a frame for a personal photo.  The lamp has it's own menu.

The birdcade does not have to be just for girls! That burly tree branch is made cute by three birdies and a cage that stays so clean with its newpaper lining and fresh birdseed on the floor -- awwwwww!

I looooove Halloween so expect lots of themed posts from me!  My pictures ended up kind of pixely and I don't know why.  Very annoying!  Hopefully though you can see how cute these items are in spite of that.

I had to show a close up shot of this gift skin from Adam N Eve.  How gorgeous is it??  I have been seriously loving their new skin releases.  The eye makeup is from Elegant Epiphany and it comes in several colors for only 1L.  This store always has great makeup deals.

The shoes are from FIR&MNA and were for the 4.44.444 event, which is now over.  I am not sure if they will be in store or not but either way they have other colors available so if you like these check out the store.

Ready for Spring . . . With Tea & Biscuits (My 1st Post!)

What's happening frugalistas. Some of ya might know me from my "Better Quality Freebies" lists that I distribute weekly to the Free*Style group, or thru my own blog SLexy Fashionista. Maybe it's just me, but I've been dreaming about springtime peeking at us around the corner. This free lavendar floral knit dress by D-Design totally suited my wistful-for-warm-weather mood + was such a 'natch with the darker plum Pelletteria Morrisey booties gift I was actually looking for when I happened upon this pretty sleeveless number.
My main homie Gavin McGinnis kindly let me borrow him for a pose or two (he's not hard on the eyes, right ladies?) Gavin is showing 2 free casual looks here from the Just for Guys Hunt, both by Pasarella. He also picked this look himself. Go man-shionista! Hee hee.

BP's new free silver bucket full o' posies were so perfect for my floral-floral mood. Naturally, sunset is the funnest time to hold pretty flowers. I think these fishies had their eyes longingly on the ocean, tho'.
This next beach-ready look comes courtesy of the freebies wall at Gigi Couture Outlet. I hadn't been there in awhile + was happy to see so many cute tops + jean skirts (that can also be worn without the skirt prim, as shorts, like I'm doing here) for either free or $1L. There's tons more reduced pieces starting at $25L and up too.
The beach bag + retro green sunglasses are free by Pelletteria Morrisey and the sparkly teal ballet flats (awww, pretty yellow stars make for happy feets!) are the free Elliot store opening gift by Tomoto.
I saw this free G&N tank top + patchwork capris outfit on The Freebie Telegraph (thank you Val -- you + Shania rock! *mwuahs*) that totally channeled a springtime mood. The tattoo I'm wearing is a free lucky board gift from I Heart Rien and features shadowy silhouettes of retro pinup girls (such a cool idea).
This relaxed, all-American look totally fit with these free red plaid ruffled T-strap heels by Nardcotix (this is 1 of 3 free shoe gifts they currently have for the Shoes & Accessories Hunt). These are really cute + the "scrunchy" ruffle textures are baked so prettily here.
To close out my first post, I wanted to give a special nod to Creamy's homeland by honoring the U.K. national beverage -- tea! How cute is this free tower of leaning teacups for your head from rbcg? -- What's actually kinda funny about this sign behind me is that Creamy says this to me all the time. -- Ahhh poor woman. Little does she know that I'm really a tres jaded soul who shamelessly uses fashion to cover my many, many other flaws. -- What up Creamster! Aren't you glad you invited me to join? *salutes*
Now since you can't have tea without biscuits, I wanted to show you one of my fave freebies in SL: Pop*Feel's homage to everyone's favorite biscuit ("biscuit" means "cookie" in the U.K., right?), the Oreo.
