A Night Out

After a long week, Rey and I are looking forward to some fun.  I decided to dress up in some great finds I found through the Pinterest board.  Ladies, I tell you...this is the way to go if you don't want to spend a lot of lindens but still want to look good.  With the exception of my Maitreya mesh body (which is worth every penny!) this entire outfit, including hair and skin, AND pose cost me $3L!
So get out there and get shopping ladies!  There is no reason to wear all that old terrible 2006 and 2007 freebie junk when just a bit of online shopping will have you looking amazing!  Wait til Rey sees this outfit...I think he's gonna like it...*winks

Purple Moon 17,000 Group Gift

Purple Moon Creations has just released a new group gift for reaching 17,000 members. I have been a member of the group for a long time and am impressed with designer Poulet Koenkamp's talent as well as generosity.  Every time the group reaches a milestone we get another group gift and it's always something fantastic like the Elwing Gown in gold.  Mailing list subscribers also received a gift with the 'Rain on Me' earrings, which you can retrieve from the archive once you've subscribed.  Because of the high level of detail in the gown and earrings, I only needed to accent it with a cute clutch, a new group gift from Teefy.

Just a little mix and match look for you today before I go back to enjoying my lovely, rainy Sunday.  Anyone but me just love cloudy, slightly gloomy, but still warmish days?  Love them.  Anyway, my outfit is from Sn@tch.  The ivory-colored over shirt is part of a dress that you can win from the lucky boards in several colors.  My shirt and shorts are part of a set of about a zillion pieces (including roller skate sneakers and a skating AO!) that you can win in the 7Seas fishing pond** next to the lucky board.  My bag is a group gift from Tee*fy in store and it's mesh and so cute and also includes a larger shoulder style bag.

My hair is from Vive9 at Collabor88 and is pretty cool because it comes with a tattoo layer hair base portion that works to make the hair have a realistic center part.  My skin is from Adore&Abhor at Flux and is only 100L.  I took the eyebrow off the skin and added a little drama with the eyebrow remover that comes inside the punk eyebrows pack at Miss Shippe's Studio.

**Note about 7Seas fishing:
To use the 7Seas fishing system *and* win all prizes you must purchase a pro rod (it's around 250L or something like that I think) and use bait (30L for 100 pieces.)  The fishing rod then can be used at any location that has 7Seas fishing and you don't ever have to purchase another rod, just bait when you run out.  There are a zillion places that allow 7Seas fishing so it's very worth the cost.

Happy 2012 Free*Stylers! I'm kicking off the new year in some comfy threads, this time in the form of a free striped mesh T-shirt + this free scrumptiously-textured giraffe hat that I put together in this darker neutrals look for y'all today. Sweet Cuppin Cakes

Cupcakes always has amazing deals if you search around the store. This skin from the Dahlia line, called Sanguine, is free in all tones mixed in with the regular prices items. I have no idea how long it will stay free but as of two hours ago it still was. The dress is only 50L in this color and the lingerie near it has some freebies and cheapies. Check it out!

Apres-Ski

It's a li'l early for snow bunnie style, but here's what I wore today whilst trekking up to the chalet apres some early-season skiing.
This look combines several free gifts from the Hateween Hunt, like these free snakeskin knee-high boots by Izm (see the Styling Credits for other free gifts used here). More cold weather finds seemed appropos; the ski goggles, furry hat + puffy down vest are all by General Motors/Rerty Naxos for $10L a pop (these were fun to scoop, but fair warning: the color-change HUD from this store was a bit unpredictable; not sure why). Finally, some stylish Tee*fy suitcases were all that I needed to impress my new superhip deer friends.
