Breaking Necks

  I have had lots of fun trying on things from Silly Seven.  Combining those items with items I have been finding around the grid is tons of fun.  A lot of the stores involved with Silly Seven have gifts in their stores currently or give out gifts sometimes to their customers because they are just generous and awesome.  One of these stores is Show Me on the Doll.  Not only did they make these cool kitty pants for Silly Seven that I wanted to show you but they also have this awesome free shirt in the store.  Sweet!

  This lipstick from Weaponized Sugar (how great of a store name is that!?) matches the orange on the pants.  Well, sort of.  Good enough for me.  :P  The pack comes with lots of colors and is honestly some of the nicest lipstick I have tried in a long time.  It's glossy and gorgeous and comes with a tintable base to make sure it covers the existing lipstick on your skin so that the tattoo lipstick can blend flawlessly.  Also includes Loud Mouth and Omega appliers!  Paired with this questioning-brow skin from Sacrelicious it makes quite the combo.

Howdy y'all! Quickie post for you today featuring some pretty free + gifites things to pull together a supercasual look for these long, lazy summer days.

Apres-Ski

It's a li'l early for snow bunnie style, but here's what I wore today whilst trekking up to the chalet apres some early-season skiing.

Make Him Over Quickie

Hiya folks! Your friendly neighborhood Jerry here with some items from the Make Him Over Hunt.

This blog needed some testosterone, and some of the testosterone I see on the grid needs help. Here are 2 tips to get you started:

First, make sure you're wearing all the prims that come with the outfit. They're included for a reason (either to enhance the outfit, keep you from looking like a tool, or both.)

Second, take the time to fit your prims. It's not difficult and it shouldn't take you long to properly fit hair, cuffs, sneakers, etc. It's really worth the time and effort, and I hear the womenfolk dig guys who can properly dress themselves.

Christmas In July

For the Frugalistas

Creator Emychan Aichi reached out to me about her CandyMetal store recently + guess what? She generously offered to assemble some pieces I liked together in a $1L gift for us! *mwuahs Emychan Aichi*
The russet-yellow streaks of this fiery-orange miniskirt instantly caught my eye; a simple dark blue-gray shirt on top provided a dark contrast to really let these striking colors pop. A treacherous "spike" belt (it's mod, yay!) added a fun + random touch (you get another belt with headphones included in the gift too).

I wanted some tall boots to set off this look + I must say that I fell in lurves with the free riding boots by Nova that my good friend Linda Mensing recently blogged on her wonderful blog here. *mwuahs Linda Mensing* The muted black satin finish lends an elegant feel to this classic long boot; the single ankle loop + rounded toe shape is nice too.
Gavin's black button-down shirt is also by CandyMetal (this was his pick, which Emychan has also graciously set out for $1L). -- Gavin doesn't usually rock the "deep V-neck" look, but this wrinkled 3/4-sleeve shirt, paired with Gavin's fave Aoharu vintage denim, exuded a sexy, casual cool men's look. (There's also a more fitted pair of jeans included in the $1L gift too).
Gavin's accessory of choice here? Mouth condoms! This is 1 of several fun dollarbies at CandyMetal (there's a whole wall in back). There's various shiny "latex leggings" up for $1L grabs too (I never owned any so-called "liquid leggings" during that whole '80s fashion throwback in RL, but the black in particular reminded me of those). This $1L mouth condom, tagged saucily with the word "LOVE" in bright, colorful packaging, is 'specially for all you frisky avis. Safety first!

Citron Summer

Pacadi Jasha, which is apparently not closed anymore, sent out this summery "Citrus" chiffon dress via its subscribo this morning, featuring this naughty see-thru top (yep it comes with pasties) + cinched waist. The latest free D!iva group gift hair + those lovely $1L black leather Drakke boots topped off this look.
The clean, simple style of this dress demanded a bold accessory (or three). Here was my choice: the new Nocc. gatcha prize, this floral straw purse that totally screamed summer style to me, that you can scoop in a random color for $30L each. (Like most gatcha plays, these purses are trans -- perfect for grabbing a few friends + doing some fun color trading). -- The vibrant, eye-popping azure blue color was such a great contrast against the muted citrus hues of this dress.
