Well hello! I'm incredibly ecstatic to be doing my first blog post here on Free*style as a guest blogger. So I do hope you enjoy my posts! I'll try not to ramble too much, but if you know me, you'll know I'm quite the chatter box!

Todays look is inspired by the amount of music festivals which obviously occur during the hot weather. I went for something simple and wearable! It's quite a change from my normal kawaii looks! 

Firstly, the dress I am wearing; you only have a few days to grab it. It's a group gift from Social Vintage; so join the group (free) and check the notices before it vanishes on August 3rd! I love the dainty little lace flowers on the skirt! It really helped put together my summery-festival type outfit! 

I am also seriously loving these group gift glasses from Vin-cue. The group does have a fee to join (50L) but these glasses are beautiful. I love how delicately they fit on my face and with this hot weather, a girl really does need a cute pair of sunglasses.

Because of the hot weather, I've found that I've been wearing my Slink flat feet a lot more, so imagine my extreme happiness when I found these sandals which are completely free! They're from :SMC: and are a wearable demo which also include the normal system feet version incase you don't have slink feet.

The 8th Unknown Hunt!

The ever-lovely, Evelyn Hartshon of Sleeping Koala, hosts this popular lil, free, hunt, which features entirely brand new stores. This time round, the hunt had the theme of 'vintage', which is a favourite of mine, and here's some of my favourite gifts from the hunt.

So it started with this song. I absolutely cannot get it out of my head, and I had an idea for a picture. A post apocalyptic vampire type dealio. Then the problems started! I combed the grid looking for poses, and ended up sending a desperate IM to my whole friends list. With their help, I found what I thought were some good ones. That is till me and hubby hopped on em. Now I don't consider our avs to be small in the least, I mean, I'm short, but not overly so. One of the poses was so far out, we were nearly on the other side of the room!! My mini rant is, please don't max out your sliders if you're making pose ball sets (because I really really wanna get this picture out of my head!!!) Oh and if anyone can help me with pose ball sets of the vampire kind, I'll pay 32238576L, totes worth it XD!



Now onto the amazing clothes. Morrigan from TBC sent out the most charming notice to Fashcon this morning, telling of new releases and a new lucky chair outfit! I meant to check it out, then got stuck doing the grocery shopping rl and totes forgot. As soon as I logged in, Andel, Morrigan's assistant IM'd me to get down there yay! And looky, Blizzard Dancer is mines.



And here's another new release Lady Marra, not free or in the chair, but had to be shown. As soon as I put it on, I immediately wanted to stand up straighter! As always, the textures and styling are impeccable. Now be off with you and stalk that chair!!

A Trip Through The Ages

So Christmas is over, NY has been dealt with (and hopefully recovered from), but our designers, oh our lovely designers haven't stopped giving! The spoiling we have received has been epic, making me want to roll around in pixely goodness.



This amazing concoction is from the Orage Creations subscribo. We have all blogged this amazing store at one time or another, not only are the dresses amazing, but the designer is so terribly generous. There is nearly always a dollarbie at the main store, and upstairs you'll find a discount section.





This offering from Twisted And Spoiled (not the main store, the Wild Hollow Mall location) came to me via a fashcon notice (which was actually for another store, but I stumbled upon a tree filled with gifts from various designers). The slurl should land you right next to the tree, rezing takes awhile so be patient. It's a Christmas tree, so I doubt all the gifts under it will be available for much longer.



This was also sent out through Fashcon (yay I'm loving this group a bit more atm). A New Years gift from Spork. I'm showing it with a subscribo gift from Unique Needs, yus the shooz!! Hit up the kisok for yours, you get all sorts of other goodies in the gift too!! Happy New Year Ann xx

Vampire Weekend

I love this band Vampire Weekend and now I have an excuse to inflict them on everyone else...



I've gone vintage Halloween today, I'm channelling Dita von Teese after she has just been fed some raw human. Did you know that when Dita goes to a Halloween party she dresses like a normal girl without makeup - that's her outfit, that's what she said in an interview last week.

This retro dotty gorgeous dress is a free gift from Ingenue. Also comes in many other colours but only the orange is free. The hair is a freebie by Jetdoll at Savoir Hair and the teeth are part of a 1L Vampirella outfit from JetDoll (see here for complete outfit, I blogged it nearly a year ago and it's still available in store)



This web and spider jewellery is a free gift from Star Kindler, beautiful and intricately detailed, it's hard to show it in its full glory in these pics. (Woops just noticed Ashia has featured these here too) There's no such thing as overexposure when it comes to this luffly jewellery though.

I originally started thist post after my birthday night out, but I passed out drunk so I've restarted it 2 days later. I'm surprised the pics aren't blurry, I could hardly see when I took these.

Toko Voom runs an amazing group called Vain Inc for designers and advertisers alike.

At the moment the group is closed, BUT, it will reopen on 18th-20th for 3 days ONLY (put that in your diaries!), so if you like amazing quality, high fashion previews and gifts it would be well worth making a space for this group... Not only do you find gifts, but designers have secret sales, promotions and really handy information that is often limited to this group!

I wish I had more time to blog today because there are some really lovely items in the group right now, this is the 'Gangsta' dress by OOPs

These gorgeous stilettos are the color change ones from Unique Needs, there are 66 colors!! a Must have, and currently FREE!



I really love the high collar and subtle textures of this dress, the leather belt gives it a certain edge. Along with it I'm wearing this absolutely divine 'Toko Headpiece' by Valena Glushenko of Diamonde (self tinted) Everything Valena makes is a treat of proportions, her flair for the unique, glamour and high fashion come through always.





These Glamour eyelashes by *GG* Boutique were found on the Fat Fannies hunt Olivia blogged so wonderfully HERE These particular ones are not for sale yet, but available on the hunt ONLY... Hunt finishes today, so if you want them hurry on over to Fat Fannies, you'll love this sim :)

I really love this 'Nocturnal' skin in opaline by Gala Phoenix of Curio the lumine blue eyeshadow is so well done and perfectly captures the mood I was trying to create! The Gertrude hair also by Curio gives it a classic 20's feel.





The 'TaDa' pose I used in the closeups was made by Toko Voom and it's free in the group.

Yus! Sometimes I do get my way, and after weeks of asking politely (begging) Ann O'toole to make some more shoes, she has, double win!! Aaaaaaaand Jojo from Wigwambam has a stack of new releases. Be still my heart (quote shamelessly pinched from Loliviva)!!



The dress you lot will be interested in is the yumtastic blue and pink dress, it's an L and is available now for the taking at the main store.



I had to show close ups of Ann's shoes. They're not free, although at 150L a pair, a better bargain you won't find.





Next up, Lemania's dress of the floofiest proportions (and I mean that with luff, cos me and floof are friends nd shiz!) Also, the retro outfit pictured is a hunt prize called "Fallin For The 40's". The hunt runs from August 15th -20th, you're looking for apples, each apple contains a part of the out fit pictured. There's 15 all up and they cost an L each. Everything you need for an awesome retro look is here, the hair, skin and shape is up to you though! (The hat pictured is not part of the outfit, you can get that from Mezzo. And last but by no means least, 2 of my finds from the Creators Pavilion. The pink dress I have blogged before, but it's so damn lush it deserves a second post!! I had to show the Alice In Wonderland Storybook, cos it's been all over the feed and I wanted it like woa. I bought it along with a million and 5 other things for the CSR. And as you can see, I'm still hopelessly addicted to fiddling with my pics, when I should really be working on nipples (none of you tell Sasy k?) xx

teh faaaaaabulous glamouramama boa has been teasing via flickr for, oh, weeks or months or something, about a new venture called fat fannies. it finally opened its doors on the paradise isle sim last thursday with a party packed with all the cool kids, hot logo swag in a treasure chest, and a piratey delicious treasure hunt. no worries if you missed out though... cause you've got through thursday the 14th to run all around the sim and scoop up all the coins you can find; they contain fun gifts from creators like ink stain, tart art, trixi stix, g&s jewelry, dolly pop, hotbox, bp*, DECO jewelry, and the toi store. there are 21 coins in all, and some of the aforementioned peeps also have shops on the adorable paradise pier boardwalk so be sure to check em out!

A Kaleidoscope Of Lush

Ok, I'll try to be calm and composed, which is hard cos I'm totally fecking excited about this post!! I've been slowly going through my notecards and such, when I found one from Leigh Matos, telling me about her store and a hunt she was having there. I IM'd her in a panic, thinking I'd missed it, feeling 10 shades of bastard for not seeing the card sooner. Ha lucky me and indeed you, cos the hunt is still on, and baby, these clothes are HAWT. Yes I used capitals to emphasise my point, deal with it XD!

the forever generous moire georgette of comme il faut is holding a creative, fun hunt through july 27th. among the prizes are several skins which are dreamy as hell. there's a sultry vamp quality to them (as you can see in my post about the earlier group special) that would make alla nazimova proud, but don't feel obligated to don a flapper dress when you slip into one of these babies. the skin in the first photo is one of the hunt gifts, and one i felt meshed pretty well with gigi couture's i heart l.a. gift, in a punk rock chola kinda way. aaaaand since i fell in lust with the luscious pout and soft focus prettiness, i chose to show off a regular priced makeup in the second photo, one i felt complimented the stunning new group gift gown from ivalde. off with your heads! or whatever. i just wanted to say that.

Halcyon Days

Ahhhhh, I just love Artilleri. Just being on the sim makes me feel all dreamy and happy and Antonia's creations get lovelier and lovelier, I don't know how it is possible, but it's true.

You will adore the latest swimsuit, a beautifully designed retro style, bottom hugging and low cut on the hips. Antonia has given the lilac polka dot sample of this swimsuit to her Artilleri group as a little taster.
