Strawberries Are T.A.R.T

A while back I posted about a new store called Fishy Strawberry, luff the name and luff the store!! My how it's grown since I was last there, heaps of gorgy new clothes for you to go crazy over, and of course a dollarbie!



Isn't this shirt the kyootist? Pick it up for a linden at the main store. The leggings shown aren't free, but serve as a good example of this awesome designer's work.





These 2 yummies are the latest freebies from T.A.R.T. It's one of my fave stores and I spend waay to much time and money there!! Not sure how long they will be out for so grab em now. The first outfit has a system skirt, so have yer flat bummed, no hips shape ready to go XD!







I saw quite a few of you at the Shiki opening event. As well as a whole table of freebies at the landing point, there's a treasure hunt on. I'm afraid I only found the Baiastice goodies, while walking in place for 5 mins at a time, flying into walls and getting stuck under the floor. The lag was beyond bad *whispers JEVN=evil*, but I'm sure it's much improved now! The hair is not free, but from my much loved Cocoluv, whom I've blogged several times before. If you're reading this Coco, I'm the crazy lady who's been in your IM box begging you to do Hair Fair!! I hope you do because your designs are made of awesome and really should be seen on a larger scale 33.

hehehe...I just did some pre-holiday Trick or Treating at Crush Row. Lots of goodies await, most are free and none are above L$1. I really love Crush Row. It's such a cute little area. The build is appealing and easy to navigate. The shops themselves are ascetically appealing. I enjoy shopping in this place, it reminds me of RL shopping lanes, the kind that you happen stumble across, the ones that become your favorites and fill you with surprise and glee. The selection of stores is great and I always come out of Crush Row with bags full of new lufflee things to wear. Head on over now and look for the boxes/bags sitting outside the shops on top of hay stacks. Sn@tch's is inside the shop. And mark your calenders for October 30th @ 6-10 slt. Unique Needs has a group gift in store, lush green goth hair and hat combo, I will wear this regardless of whether it is St Paddy's day or not, I love it!
The supercute monacle is a group gift from Sanu (in the notice archives). I also hopped on over to Fishy Strawberry partly to stalk the lucky chair and also because there is 50% discount on green items, you will see a clover above the reduced items. The top in the photo below is from the lucky chair, our sexy gorgee Ashia also showed this here



This green top is also available on the Fishy Strawberry lucky chair.



The leggings and skirt worn below were reduced to 50% off at Fishy Strawberry . I think they were approx 20L each (but don't quote me on that) anyway they were mucho cheapness for such gorgeous goodies. I would have bought more if I had more money on my poor alt Freestyle, I'll have to pay her later so she can have more of a shopping spree - she works so hard. The shoes are part of the amazing group gift from LeLutka shown on my previous post



Last but deffo not least, the skins worn in this post are 1L hunt gifts from Imagen, there are 20 little clovers to find, 19 are skins and 1 pair of green eyes. Clover #20 is a preview of Racks' new skin, Silvia, which has not been released yet (I'll have to go back and hunt extra hard for that one)

It's nearly Autumn in my part of the world, so that means it's time to start wearing our warm cosy stuff.

Lookie here, ever so generous and lovely Machang from Aoharu is giving away a pair of fluffy, chunky Mouton boots...so cute! You will find these in the on the wall on the far side of the shoe store and are only available for a few days.



Check out these luffly 'welcome to country' leggings with wallpaper pattern knee pads, a group gift from Royal Blue (in 4 different colours and knee patterns). Marni also kindly sent some to our Free*Style group too.

Kylarai at I-Candy has made some really cute new boots called Smooshie and has put the Skullerfly ones (shown below) on the lucky chair, I've got a similar pair of these in RL with Bambi on them, my favie boots! These boots also come in various patterns to buy and are only 200L.



Also in store you will find loads more 1L items, including this flouncy frou-frou skirt which I love.

Something Fishy Going on

Ah the emergency room.....my old friend, how I missed you. It's been at least a couple of months since my last visit there, I had almost forgotten the um..specialness of it all!! *Almost* Mini me had a spill at daycare today, after she was allowed to run around on polished floors with wet feet....oy. This doesn't make much sense for a co-ordinated adult, let alone a boisterous 3 and a half year old.



Once safely home and ice pack applied to a very purple and swollen chin, madam passed out. Usually after daycare, she's raring to go, full of the day's excitement and such. So the falling asleep tres early left me with an unusual amount of time on my hands. Time to pwn some lucky chairs!! Well actually just the Fishy Strawberry one, cos my other nemesis at Lo*momo remains unclaimed.......for now!





I got this gorgy dress from Salon De Pigeon Blanc. It's a 10 min item camp, I needed a break from glaring at the Lo*momo lucky board XD!





These cuties are also from Salon De Pigeon Blanc, you'll find them on the wall next to the camp stool. I luff the leggings, they suit my Q down to a T. A perfect way to still wear a short skirt in the cooler months doncha think?

A tad bit Normal

Sl has been so busy lately, even with it being summer. There have been so many big changes and the normal "fun" with bugs.

That all doesn't stop us from shopping and enjoying our time in our second lives, just brings a few added challenges.



There are days when I feel more normal in my demon skin then others. It's not so much about the shock value, as just enjoying the art of a certain designer.



Yohane Rockett started this post. He sent me the wicked newish group gift from his store Strayer. It's so nice to watch designer eveolve and put their skills to work. This Sweatshirt has a mix of earthy colours with a Roman sort of Graphic. It really made me play with my wardrobe, as I don't often wear anything so toned down. It doesn't lack for colour, just doesn't scream "See me, See me? Oh did I burn your eyes? Sorry."

MiaSnow was so kind to send me her new skins. We had gotten stores at the new Starlust Sim-Elliot, and she bought my first pants I ever made! She IM'd me up and sent these over. They aren't free but well priced compared to some stores nowadays, and they are so much fun!

I also have a secret love for Cupcakes. I have shopped at that store since it was a wee thing with about 40 dresses. Now the store is a super massive thing you can get lost in, but the quality never fails to impress me, where Mimi is concerned. This Skirt and legings you'll find there in a bunch of colours.

I love the little hats, and the fact that they are so bright, it's stuff like this that makes me miss wearing other hair designers designs. These eyes were a lovely find, she sort of went with the colours of the hats and brought it all in with the outfit, a girl of my own heart.

Now Wehn I found out about this hunt, I was sort of shocked it wasn't blogged, almost a whole month goes by and no post? really? I even checked back, just in case, so if someone did blog it I'm sorry, at least this can be a quick reminder to those like me that hadn't heard.

Symphony Skins Goodbye Rose Hunt

Symphony Skins will be retiring the *SS* No.2 Series of skins on July 31st.
To celebrate their life before their death *giggles* I'm placing out a fatpack named "Jazz Club" in all skin tones as hunt items. There are three makeups/faces to hunt in six shades, so you'll be hunting down a total of 18 hidden treasures. They are numbered and labeled, but there will be no clues given to the whereabouts of the next rose.

They will be hidden in plain sight, nothing underground or in rooms with no doors, nothing silly like that. The sample rose is the same size as the ones you will be hunting. You may have to move around, not just use camera controls. The roses will be hidden indoors and outdoors, so don't forget to check the garden out front and Clothes Horse as well.

You will be hunting for the makeups named Cognac, Mesmerized and Showgirl in the skintones Presto, Vivace, Allegro, Moderato, Andante and Largo.

*SS* No.2 is having a super sale which will run until they retire. 250L per fatpack of three, or 1500L for the mega pack. The mega pack *does* contain the hunt items as a bonus. If you aren't a hunter, you have the option of buying them that way if you wish.

To make a very LOUD final note:

As of the 31st of July... ALL *SS*No.2 skins will be retired. They will disappear, poof, gone, no more.

This hunt is a sort of "thank you" to the customers who've supported me, and while things move on, they aren't forgotten. So ummm, yeah. Thank you to everyone, I hope you enjoy the hunt!

Murderous

Not having much sleep last night left me in a murderous mood this morning, my daughter getting up every half hour for the whole night. I'm a mess of coffee and Redbull atm, but feeling slightly more human.
