I wanted to run in quick to share these fun shoes that are a group gift from Ladies Who Lunch.  Oftentimes people will call their store's style "avant garde" when really they just put random prims all over and make a mess of something and...yeah; LWL, however, *is* always ahead of the time, making glamorous pieces, and sometimes even makes things that are fun, good quality and unique.  These shoes are a little more on the silly/quirky side, as opposed to their usual high fashion style, and that's what I love about this.  Taking a moment away from the serious and doing something fun is why I adore SL in general.  Gimme all the cupcake things, please! LOL.

Please be aware that this group has a 250L join fee.  This NOT a free group!  The group does get fun things in the notices fairly frequently, 5% store credit on purchases, as well as a heads up on sales and special, etc. that no one else will know about so, if it's your thing, the group could be worth it for the fee.  Please also be aware that you need a mesh compatible viewer to see these shoes properly.

Color Wonder

Having fun with bright colors today. I saw this yellow-lipped skin on my pal KawaiiNicole's blog and had to snap it up. The bright coloring reminded me of this pink hair and rainbow bag from Arata Shouten. To keep it a little less crazy a simple black dress makes a good base. :)

This little dress is only 1L from Ribbon. Animal print? Yes please! This store is so cool about always having cheapies and freebies, not to mention the fact that their full priced items are super inexpensive.

The skin is one of ten trillion free or 1L items from Heartsick. There is a more current dollarbie but I just wanted to wear this one today. The skin isn't really gray in case you needed to know, it's a lovely shade of pale.

Both very awesome and generous stores :) The hair is a color change scripted fat pack by the way, hehe.These adorable shoes are the Snow White hunt gift from R2. Love the little heart detail on the back!!

Underground Pin-Up

Autre has lots of goodies in store for free and cheap but one of my faves is the 99 Balloons dress subscriber gift. It's meant to be a shirt but as you see it can be modded into a very short dress. Just make sure you have panties on!

The skin is a subscriber gift from Exile that I loooove and am wearing with one of the MiaSnow riot vend tattoo layer eye liners. Oh! Check out my hair! Only 1L at Darkerside :O I love the Elvira meets pin-up meets psychobilly feel of it. I even changed the letters on my awesome collar from Yabusaka to say "Pinup" hehe.

The boots are not free but I had to show them close up because they're so cute! New release from Dilly Dolls, yay!

The Party's Over!

Feeling utterly disgusted and equally embarrassed she decided to walk rather than ride home from the party with her "friends." Somewhere on the way home she fell down, tearing her stockings and smearing her eye liner as she cried. She felt as if she might have sprained her ankle and decided to stop in an unfamiliar gas station to use a phone to call her parents, even though she knew they would be upset.

Once inside the station she saw that though the lights were on it appeared to be completely deserted. She heard a noise coming from the garage area and decided to see if there was someone in there who might help her. She looked around and saw no one. She was about to leave when she heard a skittering sound, much like the sound of her dog's claws on the floor when they got too long. She turned slowly toward the sound, expecting to see a scary guard dog coming towards her; when she saw the pair of glowing red eyes moving closer from the far, dark corner she knew this was much worse.
