The relaxing scent of Lavender

I arrive at home. 

After a busy busy weekend I just wanted to relax.

So I thought I'd do the same in sl. Let it all hang out(well maybe not all!). 

The Lavender Hill Hunt has started, and yes, every blog under the sun is covering it. So . . . no . . .I'm not going to get all crazy, but I will show you one item from the hunt. This lead to me creating a whole look, that had nothing to do with the item itself, but hey, you don't mind, eh?

Bellissimo Shapes has a new group gift, called Cinder. I normally wear my own custom made shape, but I thought I'd try out something new, and was pleasantly surprised. The face is really nice, and I really like the lip shaping.

This jewelry set is not free, but I really liked the swirly stones, so I thought I'd share =)

These boots are a new group gift from Loordes of London. There are also a few other events the store is a part of, so check out the signs when you go to pick this up.

This low table, high table and plushy little seat are from [CIRCA]. This is their offer for the Lavender Hill Hunt. You will have to look for 2 objects to get the full set. The Low table has a cute meadow scene with butterflies, and the tall one has a well with a bucket, and a little bird on a hill.

I thought I'd show a view of what is inside the tables. This is a shot from inside the tall one. I am really tempted to put pets or something in there. little geckos running around in a fairy meadow? WHY NOT?

Snow Bunny

The Lucid sim is having a Snow Bunny event until Friday, February 11.  Five of the sim's stores are participating and it gives you an opportunity to pick up some cute items for few Lindens.

My shop, (census), is offering an adorable new shape, January, that will be available for only 50 L during the event.  After that it will be available at it's normal price.  I'm showing the shape below with (nushru's) Puff Snow Bunny dress.  It comes in 7 yummy colors for only 40 L each or as a fatpack.  I love the asian texture used in the dress.

*RezIpsa Loc* has darling Snow Bunny T-shirts.  They come in a pack with both a pink and blue version and have all the layers you need to wear them either tucked or untucked.  I paired them with the latest freebie from Hoorenbeek.  The lilac snowboots are available as a subscriber gift.  Generally, his gifts require you to be a subscriber for at least 2 weeks, so go slap it and return and touch the vender for these cute boots.  They come in several different version for lots of versatility

Two designers are offering adorable homes for cheap at the event!  buttons. has a charming lil' cottage for only 50 Ls.  It is only 51 prims and modifiable and copiable.  It has 2 floors.

A.D.D. Andel! has offered the first in her series of Seasons Skyboxes.  The winter one comes with tons of options.  It totals 84 completely rezzed and includes a full-moon sphere to provide winder effects. There are options to not rez the tree, planter, snowdrifts and snow particles to keep it very low prim. \ My photos could not do it justice so I taking the liberty of showing her ad.  You can pick it up at the bargain price of 75 L during the event.

While at Lucid you might want to poke around some of the stores for some cute freebies and cheapies from independent designers!  And! Before I forget, the poses I'm using are from Exposeur and are at a very special price of only 50 L over the weekend.  They are called Top Model - Spring 2011 and includes 14 poses!  It's a complete steal so go get them!

Wee Little Treasures

Foxxy Designs and Mystic Sky are pairing up for a little hunt with great prizes. There are 4 little treasure chests to be found, one pink and one blue at each store. The trick the the hunt is that the chests are very small and well hidden but contain products that normally sell for full retail value in the stores. The other twist is that they aren't telling with prizes are at which store! Evil!

Mystic Sky's offerings are the Arya Gown for women (shown above) and Eragon in blue for men (shown below). Also shown in the picture below are really nice shapes offered by Foxxy Designs. My partner, Arial, is wearing the Alexandre shape and I am wearing the Kitten shape. Both shapes are copy/mod so you can tweak them as you desire.
The Foxxy Design treasure chest also contains these amazing tattoos; Pirate for men and Belly Gun for women. In order to keep the post a reasonable length I did not show the back side of the men's tat but it is amazing with a full back tattoo of a woman. It is gorgeous.

A Weekend Of Washing

So Mini Ash managed to pick up a tummy bug of some sort from pre-school, so I've spent the last 48 hours doing the following routine: Holding her hair for her while she pukes, cleaning up floors, toilet etc and disinfecting, showering mini Ash, washing her soiled clothes and redressing her, changing the bed sheets and washing those. Lather, rinse, repeat. I am buggered, but I've been sitting on these pics for a few days, so while madame sleeps I thought I'd get this post out.



First up this gorgeous dress from VictoriaV. I was there while doing the Alienbear Easter hunt, in completely the wrong building of course, wondering why there were dress and not jewelery there :P After combing the place from top to bottom looking for Alienbear, I found this dress. You'll find it on the lower level, along with 2 red dresses. Shown here with some yummy jewelry from DM Designs. You can thank Sileny for that one, she told DarionMonkee Levitt (the designer) to get in touch with me, yay for new stores!!! Also, the hair! I had shown you the gorgeous skin you could get from the Cupcakes Easter hunt, so I thought I should also show you some of the clothes. The perfect shoes for all these outfits are the scrumptious flats from Flair, not free, but worth every linden.



The following tops are from Ibizarre. I had gone there for the sale, of course I was about 2 days too late!! I joined the subscribo, and was given the jacket. The tops are a linden in store I believe.

Ema's sent a notice to the Fashcon yesterday about a free gift in her store, called Fandango. Now when I first read the name, I imagined some kind of spanish dancing affair, but when I opened the pic I was surprised to find a funky little outfit, with cute accoutrements on the skirt and little bow and badges on the neck, it's really nicely designed. There is also a couple of nice outfits in store which you can camp for.

I just love it when I hear about a mall I've never been to, and I wasn't disappointed when I visited this one today after receiving a notice about a free gift at BOOM. Crush Row has got tons of great shops, really well designed too, I didn't even get lost once. That's good for me, I've got no sense of direction whatsoever.

I'm in a creative mood today so I think I'm going to attempt to make some free thingies for you, we have a hunt planned for the opening of the new Free Style Sim on Sunday.


This sim is named Free Style purely by coincidence, it is owned by Lupu Brulu and it just seemed fitting that we have a spot there. I will let you know more about the hunt later but put Sunday at 2pm SLT in yer virtual diaries.

ARGGGGHHH Whats happened to my blog formatting????

Oops I've done it again...

Making a new Avatar feels like I'm buying a new doll, I get the same pleasure out of it as a child would. I love the feeling of a fresh start with a lovely tidy inventory.

Meet Helle, I've no idea where I got this name from...I didn't even know it existed. I just did a Google search and apparently it is a Greek name and means the Daughter of Athamas, and also the Danish version of Helga...so there ya go.

I'm really proud of the shape I made for Helle, she looks amazing in the beautiful skins worn in this post, (group gifts from Sin Skins and M&R Cupcakes). I'm going to give her shape away for a limited time soon...watch this space.

My Boi AO

I've lovingly crafted an AO (Animation Override) for men in need. I poured blood, sweat and tears into it and pulled out some of my hair (ewwww funny mix!), but I'm quite happy with the result. It's a first attempt at animated poses, so it's not perfect.

The Boi AO has 3 animated stands, a walk and a run. (I created the stands, but not the walk and run). If you like looking edgy then it's perfect for you, the stands are kind of moody looking and there's a bit of head scratching and dust kicking.

The anims are contained in a ZHAO II HUD, which for those of you who don't know, you simply wear this and your Avatar will run through the animations automatically. You can pick this up at Free*Style for only 1L.



I'd like to give big credit and thanks to Torley for his excellent video tutorial on Qavimator, helped me lots in the creation of these animations.

The male outfit worn here is in a free gift box from Fetch Alternative which contains a really great pair of jeans and two tee's. There is also a box of free female clothes which contains jeans, shorts, a top and skirt (some of which I have shown previously). Hair is the 1L Kensei from Truth.
