Fantasy Cream was extended a week, and will be wrapping up soon. There is a little hunt, with each designer offering up a goodie, as well as exclusive designs set out from each merchant. 

The Pumpkin Latern is a hunt gift from Fantavatar & Moonstruck. The dress is a wonderful exclusive creation from BlueMoon Enterprise, and while it might not be free, it is so unique, I had to show it to you. if you peak inside of the dress, there is a whole scene, there is even a little moon! The Pumpkin Bench in the background is another exclusive, from Lilith's Den. They have a cute little gift in the hunt too, which is not show here, but I got the ad so you can see it.

I figured since I was being all artsy, I would take a pic of my face, so you could see the other freebies a bit better.

I'm Back!

So a thing happened. What is that thing? I turned up inworld.

As always, the first thing I do is go shopping. How can I see what I missed, and what is new, if I don't actually go out there?

As always, I share my finds with you.

I always love dressing up my dark skinned beauty. She may sport lighter tones, or alternative ones, from time to time when I am blogging, but I always bring her back to the darker ones after.

Makeups can be a challenge on these tones. Often lip layers make the tones look cartoony. Happens a lot with the eye makeup as well.

I was pleasantly surprised with these 2 makeup layers.

Added Note - What is a Scalera? It is the part of the eye that shows as white. Often times designers put so much effort into the iris(coloured part) and pupil(black part) that the scalera is rather bland. This can look very stark on darker skin tones. To combat this I wear Scalera Shadows. There are only a few designers I have ever found with the option, for purchasing. Wee Ones is one of the few stores that has them. It is a very simple addition that can really make your new eyes pop. Or not glow in the dark, haha. I'm an eye snob, I know.

I noticed A:S:S: had a bunch of their sky boxes up for grabs, so since I like to shoot with LadyLight in them so often, I decided to share one today with you all.

Hello again all!

In a rare break from zombie-slaying I managed to dash over to the Body Modification Expo currently being put on by Depraved Nation! It just opened on Thursday and will be around til November 3rd so there's plenty of time to get cleaned up and go crazy! Some creators were also kind enough to put out free gifts as shown below and I luckily found 3 or 4 new stores that I'm now crazy about.

On a much sadder note, Atypical is closing it's doors at the end of October for some serious maintenance. They've become my favorite place to go to for fun extras so while there is no ETA for a return as of yet I know I'll be watching closely! Some items will be moved to the marketplace while the brand is reinvented but I strongly advise you to hurry to the store before the end of the month for anything you might like. In their usual generous fashion they've set out 3 cute Halloween group gifts you can pick up in store and through group notices.

Bye-Bye Hair Fair 2013 and Bye-Bye Me!

How time flies!  Hair Fair 2013 is in it's last weekend.  I wanted to show you a few more items from the fair including a great gift in the photo below.  Both outfits I am featuring are outfits from Shop Free*Style, which I have not done nearly enough justice in promoting as there are really some wonderful things there for so cheap!  I also wanted to mention but I did not have time to take more shots, is that tomorrow, the closing day of Hair Fair is Bandana Day. Bandana Day is a hair fair tradition and you are to remove your pretty pixel hair and don a bandana in support of the kids that get help from Wigs for Kids, the hair fair charity.  There are some GORGEOUS bandanas to pick up for only 50 L each.  Each sim at Hair Fair has a store just for bandanas.  They are transferable and you can find them for both genders and in a wide variety of styles.  I bought...a lot. Of course, 100% of the proceeds benefit Wigs for Kids.

This is my last post for Free*Style. I've been with the blog since at least 2009; I can't remember the exact month but I've been at it a long time and it's time to move on.  Sileny Noel will remain owner of the blog as well as have control of Shop Free*Style.  Being a part of Free*Style has meant a lot to me, especially all the wonderful people I've met through it.  I've always been a huge clothes horse in SL, endlessly fascinated by the creative process, and blogging has given me a front row seat that I won't forget. It's been a challenging year in RL but I'm still around in SL from time to time and I'm always involved in lots of projects so hopefully I will see you around!  Take good care of the lovely and dedicated folks at Free*Style.
