Inspiring Hope and Love

2016 has not been a good year, to say the least. Unfortunately for me, it started last year when I lost my dad two months, to the day, before his 69^th birthday. David’s music was helping me through that loss. Like so many others, his music had been the soundtrack of my life. Then we lost him five months later. The two men who inspired me the most were gone and 2016 continued like a snowball rolling down a very steep hill.

Now the talented and creative people that inhabit this Second Life of ours have filled two current events with inspiration, hope and love.

My little ghosty was not impressed. I'm not here to impress tho, never have been, so I let him go about his way. If you want an angry little ghost of your own, Plastik has given one out as a group gift right now. You can get a more happy one at The Liaison Collaborative's current round, if you feel the need for a matching set. They are actually holdables, set to your right arm, it just didn't work with my pose, so I set him out as a follower pet by re-positioning him.

[EvelineintheBox] has this dress out right now, in 3 variations. The one I am wearing was a one day sale version, which I sadly did not get up in time, but the good news for you, is the 3 versions currently out are at even more of a discount than this one is! If aaallll the raindrops were pumpkin pie and Zombie pops...

Oh what a rain that would beeee! Standing outside with my mouth open wide, Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah! Well the mouth of my new mesh mask is at least! I stumbled upon AD Creations by complete accident and lost myself in their fun store! It's huge with lots to explore and a few luckychairs. Luckily my letter was up when I arrived! It's fate I tell you!

With such a pretty new mask (mesh-attachment and make-up) I decided to get all geared up for a nice walk. This dress is available at Plastik alongwith a few other Halloween-themed freebies at the entrance of the store. The rain has never been enough to stop me so I grabbed my umbrella and took a stroll. Haha, playfulness aside, I had the chance to have Achariya shoot me this morning, She only had an hour she said, so between juggling a baby irl, and flinging folders around in sl, I managed to get this outfit on!

The Fantasy Gacha Carnival is finally open, and Achariya is wearing a few of the items you will find there. It opened on the 1st of October, and runs until the end of the month.

Me in all my wonderful glory!

I took some super quick, less awesome shots just to show you the makeup and eyes I had on. These are new from {Frick}. {Frick} has been a staple for the fantasy community for a long time now, and while Fricka might not come inworld as often to make content, when she does, she spoils us. At there store there is a little halloween hunt going on. You will find eyes, makeups and slink nail appliers, which I haven't show here, due to my claws.

In the Middle shot you will see the Mouth Makeup addon, basically makes the look very Dia de los Muertos. 

Top Left is the Basic Black, Top Middle is without the Makeups, Top Right is the Darker Version of the Makeup. Each colour has a darker version.

Bottom Left is the Blue, Bottom Middle is the Red, Bottom Right is the Purple.

Each one has a matching eye, which has petites sizes included.

Autumn Air

Autumn is here, so it is time to get your sweaters out, and go for some nice long night walks and enjoy the changing of the leaves.

There are a few time sensitive gifts which I thought would get you started. The Annex has this sweater as a group gift, and the group is currently free to join, but only for a limited time! Also for a limited time, Modish has all their previous gift out. The group does have a join fee, but it is super small, mostly to deter spammers. 

If you want even more goodies, Plastik has 2 boxes for gifts every month, one is free and has appliers included, the other is L$10. Each have various items; pants, shirts, dresses and sometimes other things, like shoes or jewelry. Each month is different, with different colour themes.
