Bye-Bye Hair Fair 2013 and Bye-Bye Me!

How time flies!  Hair Fair 2013 is in it's last weekend.  I wanted to show you a few more items from the fair including a great gift in the photo below.  Both outfits I am featuring are outfits from Shop Free*Style, which I have not done nearly enough justice in promoting as there are really some wonderful things there for so cheap!  I also wanted to mention but I did not have time to take more shots, is that tomorrow, the closing day of Hair Fair is Bandana Day. Bandana Day is a hair fair tradition and you are to remove your pretty pixel hair and don a bandana in support of the kids that get help from Wigs for Kids, the hair fair charity.  There are some GORGEOUS bandanas to pick up for only 50 L each.  Each sim at Hair Fair has a store just for bandanas.  They are transferable and you can find them for both genders and in a wide variety of styles.  I bought...a lot. Of course, 100% of the proceeds benefit Wigs for Kids.

This is my last post for Free*Style. I've been with the blog since at least 2009; I can't remember the exact month but I've been at it a long time and it's time to move on.  Sileny Noel will remain owner of the blog as well as have control of Shop Free*Style.  Being a part of Free*Style has meant a lot to me, especially all the wonderful people I've met through it.  I've always been a huge clothes horse in SL, endlessly fascinated by the creative process, and blogging has given me a front row seat that I won't forget. It's been a challenging year in RL but I'm still around in SL from time to time and I'm always involved in lots of projects so hopefully I will see you around!  Take good care of the lovely and dedicated folks at Free*Style. Decided to just post a nice, casual look.  It's fall now so it's all about the layering (but I am still so all about the bright colors!) so having a cute, cropped sweater is a must.

Go Purple Go Purple Go!

Some free and not free stuff today. Every once in a while I like to mix some not free stuff here just to get your shopper's blood flowing! All the not free stuff is pretty inexpensive for the ultra high quality though so it's worth it. That said, check out some freebs! Who says black socks are bad? Not I! And not Berries Inc. Though if you like white socks they have those too. And stripes? Who doesn't love stripes!? I thought the summery top from Somnia at the Chic Birthday event was a fun addition AND you get a large pack of other colors included. Also the furniture from Entropy is hot stuff! I tinted it a little purple but it's a lovely shade of red.

This eye makeup is from the Musa Makeup subscriber kiosk. There are always lots of gifts and lucky boards here for soft makeups. My skin is a not free new release from L. Fauna which is awesome and I blogged about over at Broke By Payday. The necklace is from Lolapop! and not free but I have one super similar in RL so this excited me a bunch.

The shoes are not free and are from Lassitude & Ennui. You can get a similar style for free in the Black Butler hunt but I had to choose the skulls and purple!!

Skye Qi Does Free

Skye Qi makes a lot of historically accurate gowns and other fancy whatzits that I enjoy looking at. I don't buy them very often though because I never really have an occasion to wear fancy things when all I do is sit in my skybox being grumpy. I did have to grab this free item and a couple of other items for donation recently though!

So yeah, it had been a while since I visited and I saw the store when I was randomly browsing search for something else and popped in to visit. I don't know if this is a new freebie but it is pretty cool either way. If you grab this free gift make sure to drop a donation in the bucket on top, all the proceeds go to helping charities in Honduras. And also check out the AWESOME donation gowns for 100L-150L!!

The only thing you can't hunt for, appearance wise, at DeeTalez is hair; Calico Ingmann, however, is having a hunt. So hunt numero uno plus hunt numero dos equals super full avatar!

In the hunt at DeeTalez you are looking for pumpkins. There are two pumpkins in each section, green pumpkins being for males and orange being for females.

I tried to take pictures of the male goods, but I failed hardcore. I am so not a male. Guys....I don't know how you do it!! But there are skins, shapes, shoes, tattoos, jewelry, accessories and clothes in this hunt for you!!!

At Calico Ingman you are also looking for pumpkins. They are scattered around the whole store (and there might even be one in the Silent Sparrow mini shop :D) amidst pumpkins that do not contain gifties. There are also pumpkins that contain skins but they are smaller and I had a hard time finding them on my laggy end. The sad face.

There are about a million hairs in special Halloween colors in the Calico hunt so only a fraction are pictured here. There are a bunch more things from DeeTalez not pictured either. Guess that just means you go hunt for them to see them :D
