A wonderful, longtime friend of mine decided to make a pose set, which was inspired by a mohawk I had just made for my Inworld Group as a gift.

Enchantment has always been an event that I look forward to. There is something about stepping into a fairytale, legend or myth, and seeing it come to life. You can take your very own little piece back home with you, to enjoy.

Along with the event, they host a hunt. I thought it was the perfect thing to cover for the Humpday Hunting feature.

Today is the last day to swing on by, get great deals, and find those eggs!

I really enjoyed covering this event, as I was able to do so many different looks wit what was offered. The setting itself was really beautiful.

I am not one to generally enjoy Easter. There are only two commercialized holidays I really love, and lets just say, easter is not even close to being on the radar. I did enjoy Ostara's Alter though, as it appealed to my darker side more. It is not specifically dark themed, it just had a lot of items outside the normal concept of  "easter".

So make sure you visit, and if you are really lucky, and see this post late, still come by, most events don't knock back booths right at midnight, so things still might be out at the event site.

I'm also wearing the Sweet's L$1 Mesh Body. It fits most Maitreya clothing, you just have to fiddle with your shape a bit. Also, due to BOM, you will need additional alpha layers for some parts of the body, to make certain clothing work. I do like the body though, it is a great asset for the price. Wouldn't call it perfect, but it is nicely functional.

Tootsie Tuesdays - Shoe Haul #1

 

This week on Tootsie Tuesday, I found a collection of footwear for you all! There are so amny things going on, on the grid, and a nice side effect is that there are a lot of free and cheap footwear options.

Ostara's Alter Event has a L$5 hunt, and one of the Stores, Sadistic Obsessions, has a set of heels to find, each colour in a different egg.

Sweet Easter Hunt has some footwear too, and one of the locations is in.SANITY Designs. They made bunny head heels. There are 5 versions to find, and each has a hud to change the bunny texture. They also come with a bunny mask that matches the colour of the heels. Prices range from L$0 to L$25 at the different stores, for this hunt.

Lastly, The Wash Cart Sale is still going on strong, and there are a good number of things to adorn you tootsies with. Items range from L$0 to L$25, with event exclusives at L$50.

I decided to play with colour a little bit today, and had some fun with purples and reds. Not normally a combination I play with, but it seemed to work out.

While hunting for some new appliers to try out this Genus Project Free Mesh Head, I stumbled on Velour, a new to me store. They make fun ads, at least I think.

I really enjoy the store NeverWish, and was happy to see that they are still around and creating. I don't normally like a bunch of flowers everywhere, but these roses on the earrings are super small and not overpowering. The earrings are an exclusive item at Ostara's Alter, and come in a bunch of colours. You can even find a matching nose ring in the hunt!

Ostara's Alter has all sorts of nifty prizes in the event hunt right now. The hunt isn't hard, the eggs are rather large. This polish is from Koffin Nails, and is only L$5. You get 6 options to choose from on the applier hud.

Enchantment is a magically event that happens a few times every year. This round it based off of the tale Thumbelina,  and is as magical as ever.

If you are strapped on cash, there are some great discounted finds, as well as a few gachas. There is also a hunt, so you can grab a few things for free, if you have a flair for hunting.

This isn't my usual skin tone, but I thought it looked cute, so I went with it for today.

I did some of the Fantasy Cream Hunt, like I said I would yesterday, so I am sharing a few items from that today.

A nifty thing about Fantasy Cream is that they have voting every event, you as a customer get to pick your favorite exclusive item. You have a chance to win some prizes by voting, and the winning designer gets a reward for their store. No cost to enter, so worth it to go check that out.

Some of the hunt items fit right in with today's picks from The Wash Cart Sale. This dress is called Cutie Pie, and there are different flower variations to collect.

Witchery

I seem to be on a witch kick!

Fantasy Cream was extended a week, and will be wrapping up soon. There is a little hunt, with each designer offering up a goodie, as well as exclusive designs set out from each merchant. 

The Pumpkin Latern is a hunt gift from Fantavatar & Moonstruck. The dress is a wonderful exclusive creation from BlueMoon Enterprise, and while it might not be free, it is so unique, I had to show it to you. if you peak inside of the dress, there is a whole scene, there is even a little moon! The Pumpkin Bench in the background is another exclusive, from Lilith's Den. They have a cute little gift in the hunt too, which is not show here, but I got the ad so you can see it.

I figured since I was being all artsy, I would take a pic of my face, so you could see the other freebies a bit better.

The Shedding Hair hunt by Adoness is still going strong, ending on the 31st of the month. 24 hairs in 12 combs to find.

Web Witch

This is the season to stray from the normal, and dress up in things you normally wouldn't. The Nightmare event can start you well on your way, with their many designers offering up goodies in a fun "experience" hunt.

You must wear a hud, go through various spooky environments, while keeping your eyes out for pumpkins. They aren't that hard to find, but it is easy to miss one, due to the sim lag. The event is very popular right now, so there have been rezzing issues. I had missed one myself somehow, and had to go back and find it, haha. The pumpkins will tell you if you already collected them, so that is a nice feature, if you end up having to do what I did.

Once you have all 25, your hud will brighten up, and you can tp back to the market portion of the event. Booths offering gifts have a special little stand out by the front of their shop. Don't just got click happy and leave though, some booths have gifts that are not a part of the hunt, and are just in the actual booths. So take a tour, look at some of the unique items for sale, and find some extra gifts along the way.

Earlier today, the gates opened to this seasonal event. From now until Oct. 31st, you can come browse the discounted wares, while also searching for pumpkins, which hold prizes for you to take home.

The Veiled Lady lilypad decor has to be my favorite thing. I got the chance to see the ghost once, but didn't take a snap quick enough. I am not sure how often if comes at night but it's rather fetching when it does it's thing.

Humpday Hunting - The Body is a Fortress Hunt

Hey Guys, today is something a little different for Humpday Hunting. I wont be covering a whole bunch of hunts today, but focusing on one single hunt.

The Body is a Fortress Hunt is ending today. It is a simple hunt, with very few stops all in the same area.

It is being hosted on the Relay for Life -Relay Weekend sims. 

You are looking for 9 little "Heros", each being something that helps fight cancer. As you go through the hunt, you will receive notecards, and each card has a picture of the next "Hero" so you will always know what you are looking for.

Your start location is at the Relay Hub HERE. You MUST get the hunt starter pack here, or you will have a very hard time doing the hunt, as there is more than 9 sims. You need the pack for the landmark to the first location.

The last "Hero" you find will have a notecard which has the tp to the gifts location. All gifts are located in one handy little building. As this is an RFL event, many of the gifts are purple, so if you aren't a fan of the colour, this might not be the hunt for you.

There is a Gangsta Fair going on in Second life right now. I wasn't really sure I wanted to be Gangsta, but I thought I'd go anyway, and see what it was all about.

The event ends on the 25th of May.

One of my favorite things each year, when visiting Fantasy Faire, is the amount of mer/sea creature stuff that is at the event.

While I do tread more on the demon side of things, my second love is mer related items. I have blogged many of times on this site, with a tail, haha.
