  The store New Faces gives so many gifts to their VIP group.  It's awesome.  In fact, there are two in the notices as we speak.  One of the gifts is this skin.  I think it's pretty different from most skins around right now so it's definitely worth a try.
  My hair is not free but it's at Hair Fair where just about everything has at least some portion of each sale donated to Wigs For Kids.  We at Free*Style love promoting charity so go to Hair Fair and show some support!  I am a bit biased to this hair style because it's called Sileny.  What can I say, I am a sucker for anything that has my av name.

I played with the photo a bit, cause I liked it, thought I'd share the modded results. It's after the cut.

Black is meant to be Black

In the inner bloggers circles, there has been some talk about The Black Fair, and the utter Lack of Black. While there did seem to be a lot of colour at the event, there is some utterly black pieces, if you really look.

 I put forth the challenge to myself, to bring you a totally black outfit from the event.

 I just loved the skulls on the pockets, so you get a butt shot. The heels also have skulls on them, along with spikes and a bow.

There were black makeups at the fair, but I really liked the detail of these lips, so they got to stay. If you could only choose one thing to get from this post, I'd say go grab this skin, it is worth it.

On an added note, the bracers and the necklace are both gacha items from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival, currently going on now until the 21st. That only gives you a few more days to visit. If you have already been, well there were a few more gachas added, like these bracers, so you might have missed them, they are worth another visit.

Feeling Free

The owner of The Second Star sent me this top and even though I have been super busy I checked it out and decided I needed to make time to blog it.  I love the pink and blue color combo!  My glasses are a dollarbie from Karacter.  I found them on Marketplace, which is where I do most of my shopping these days. xD

On the not free side of the photo are my skin and hair.  I feel like the combination of the two reminds me a tiny bit of Daenerys Targaryen.  A little bit anyway, haha.

A Little Birdy Told Me There's a Gift

 Hi guys!  Lately I have been in love with .Birdy. skins.  I bought one at The Box event last month and was like OMG this is the best thing ever.  The other day I saw on Flickr that there was a new skin line out so I thought i would pop by the store and grab a demo.  To my delight I saw that not only was there a new discounted skin available at The Box but there was also a VIP gift out!  The group is only 50L to join so it's totally worth it.  Hope you enjoy, more details below, etc.  Ciao!

Colors and Patterns and Fabrics, Oh My!

Sometimes I put some random things on that shouldn't match when I am going through my inventory and decide that I love how they look together.  Most of this is free too so that's extra love.  You can grab my hair in multiple colors for the Where's The Concert Hunt at Alice Project.  Mesh love 4lyfe.  Also for the mesh lovers you can get this top from Auxillary as a group gift (750L join fee.)  My boots are mesh too and clearly they are amazing because everything from Lassitude&Ennui is.  Can we say rainbow skull boots!?  They are in the gacha at Unhinged for only 60L a pop.

On the non-mesh side we have some group gift leggings from Umeboshi that are like the best color ever.  I remember going to this store when there were only a few things in it and now there is so much more!  It's still small but a total gem with great eyes and art.  My skin is from Mother Goose's and is only 1L.  I also remember this store when it was super small.  It had mostly clothes and builds and stuff and now it's almost all skins.  Oh, how times change!  It's fun to look back on changes when you start to become and old-timer. xD

Darkberry

Gaaaah!  I get so excited when Halloween comes around!  I love dark makeup, spooky decor and all things creepy.  This skin isn't creepy but it does have the dark makeup. :D  I love the shimmer of the eyeshadow especially.  Get it free as a group gift from Rockberry.

My hair is from Mina and is currently available at the Cinema event.  This event is a.maz.ing. times ten.  One of my fave events of the year so far.  It's worth a visit just for the build!  This hair is available in lots of colors and there is another style at the event that has a Catwoman-style mask attached.  Check it out!

I'll finish the second half of the tutorial later today.  They take forever to do and I don't have time at the moment so I thought I would share a quick LOTD with some free and cheap goodies involved!  This look makes me feel really young, fresh and stylish.  Love!

 

 My eyes are from Umeboshi, a new to me store, and they are only 1L in this color.  Also if you join the subscriber you get two free tees sent automatically.  My hair is from Action and is this month's VIP group gift.  They give out a gift just about every month, some months have been more than once since I've joined, and the group has gotten discounts and all sorts of stuff before so it's way worth the join fee.  My skin is a group gift in store from My UglyDorothy.  It's been out a while already but dang it's so cute!!  My top is 88L at Collabor88 from Willow.  I really like the almost vintage vibe to it.  Check the credits for more information below. :D
