It's been a very busy week, work wise, but I finally got everything done. My weekly posts here on Free*Style have suffered for it, but I should be back to my regular schedule next week. That being said, I have all sorts of new to share with you.

I am pleasantly surprised at this shot, the more I look at it, the more I am in love with it. I didn't even put my hands on, since it was suppose to be just a headshot pic.

I found these eyes as a sample at !Musa!. There is a full gacha series, which you can view below. This version is sort of like a wearable demo, you can see if you like them on your avatar, then if you do, play a few rounds on the gacha machine. 

I really like the albino and dawn versions.

The hair I am wearing is a new mainstore gift from Pocket Mirrors. This is a store that has been around for a long time, and I am glad they are still here creating. My shots don't do the hair justice at all, I might take more shots on a different post this week. The style comes with the hairbase, which is a really nice one. There are 4 free packs in total, each with 3 colourations. Look around the shop for more deals and some great classic styles. The male styles are done well too, I buy them for my malt.

Mock is Back

M.O.C.K Cosmetics is back, with a new store build in the works, which more than likely means new wonderful things for us all very soon.

While we wait, Mock has been ever so kind, and has rained her group members with multiple gifts.

There is a fee for this group, but Mock has always been a very generous soul. For all the years I have been in the group, we have gotten 1000's of products free, not always makeups. She sometimes experiments, and has us try out things. She sometimes makes random things for herself, and shares.

The group is also one of the most friendly I have ever been in, and one of the few I will partake in conversation. The main rule is, out of respect to the M.O.C.K. Cosmetics label, to not talk about other makeup store products in chat. Other than that, we talk about a vast range of things.

Never make a Dragon Mage Angry

Why, well they come equipped with wicked long tongues! You don't want to know what they do with those tongues!

While out and about, looking at furry stuff, cause, well, I have never been a furry, I found this awesome fantasy store that caters to both Humans and Furries.

There was some group gifts, so naturally I picked them up, and continued around the store. I didn't actually try on the gift, until today. So it had been sitting in my inventory for about a week.

ZOMG!

It's all kinds of awesome, and there is a Death Knight sort of looking one for the dudes, as well as a furry compatible gift set.

I normally try to keep my outfits 75% Free/Cheap, but this armour needed some of my everyday demony bits added. Forgive me my indulgence.

Deadly Briar

One of the worst parts about having my laptop taken in, is that I lost all my personally made windlights. I did manage to find a few that had escaped the wrath of a factory rest. They happened to be the ones more for my store ads, and not my blogging ones.

So I am in the process of recreating some, as well as taking some tutorials on some things I always wanted to try.

Due to this, my photos might not be the greatest for the next little while, but i hope to get it sorted soon.

That being said, I am very excited to show you a few things from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival(which runs until the 15th of March). I fell in love with this event since the first one popped on the grid, and have had the privilege of being invited to participate in a few of them as well.

Mad Dayal and the Thunder Rally

 

When his sister was taken, they told him there was only one way to get her back. He had to race for her.

 

With the various mutative diseases that plagued the earth, after World War 5, females were scarce. Okay, maybe not scarce, but the ones that could reproduce healthy babies, yes, they were the ones who were scarce. Rival Tribes often kidnapped those healthy women. It had become a trend to disfigure them to hide them, which was often a sour point with their families.

 

Their family moved often, as they didn't want to tarnish the beauty of their only girl child.

 

This was something those rebel tribes didn't know, thinking these poor backwoods folk unable to muster the proper gear for a full on race. At least 4 times a year one of the boys would have to do the race, to regain their sister. Out of all of them, Dayal was the best.

 

He was known as the Rust Warrior, with his trusty Steed, a pieced together motorcycle their father built. His mother made him Warrior Wings, like those of the days of old, which made an aweful sound in the wind, as he sped past. His older brother had once shot a pack of wolves, following the family, so they each had capes of wolf plets.

 

 

The Rebel Tribes were nothing but shocked when Dayal arrived at the start line. They were further shocked when their own team of 12 riders didn't return at the end of the race.

 

Too bad his charm was wasted on his only sister. In another time, in another place, he would have been modeling underwear.

A Witch and her Familiar

Haha, playfulness aside, I had the chance to have Achariya shoot me this morning, She only had an hour she said, so between juggling a baby irl, and flinging folders around in sl, I managed to get this outfit on!

The Fantasy Gacha Carnival is finally open, and Achariya is wearing a few of the items you will find there. It opened on the 1st of October, and runs until the end of the month.

Me in all my wonderful glory!

I took some super quick, less awesome shots just to show you the makeup and eyes I had on. These are new from {Frick}. {Frick} has been a staple for the fantasy community for a long time now, and while Fricka might not come inworld as often to make content, when she does, she spoils us. At there store there is a little halloween hunt going on. You will find eyes, makeups and slink nail appliers, which I haven't show here, due to my claws.

In the Middle shot you will see the Mouth Makeup addon, basically makes the look very Dia de los Muertos. 

Top Left is the Basic Black, Top Middle is without the Makeups, Top Right is the Darker Version of the Makeup. Each colour has a darker version.

Bottom Left is the Blue, Bottom Middle is the Red, Bottom Right is the Purple.

Each one has a matching eye, which has petites sizes included.

Step into Fantasy

As with most months, there are so many things going on, to keep us busy. One of the upcoming events I am most excited about is The Fantasy Gacha Carnival. I am not only a designer in the event, but also a blogger. 

I don't often apply as a blogger, for store nor events, due to time constraints. I sadly just can't guarantee a certain amount of posts every week, as my store comes first. I was convincing enough to be allowed as a blogger for the event, even with being in it myself.

So I will be here to tease you with all the wonderful items, as well as bring you some freebies/cheapies to complete your looks.

The Fantasy Gacha Carnival starts on October 1st. There will be good number of Designers at least, each with a few gachas. If you'd like to know some more information, see some sneak peeks, you can go to the official blog HERE!

Vogue is having a bit of a hunt in their store until the end of the month. There are 5 little boxes to look for. The dress I am wearing is one of the gifts, and it went so perfect with all the gacha previews I am showing you today.

The hunt didn't take me too long, about 7 minutes, with the boxes just a bit bigger than your avi's hand. It's well worth it, even if you aren't an avid hunter, the other gifts are just as lovely.

Sometimes a shoot just needs to be done on location. This little fairy forest is enclosed, so it makes a lot softer shadows(at least for me it did, I probably didn't play enough with my settings). There are lots of little places to explore, and take pics at. There is also horse riding.

Black is meant to be Black

In the inner bloggers circles, there has been some talk about The Black Fair, and the utter Lack of Black. While there did seem to be a lot of colour at the event, there is some utterly black pieces, if you really look.

 I put forth the challenge to myself, to bring you a totally black outfit from the event.

 I just loved the skulls on the pockets, so you get a butt shot. The heels also have skulls on them, along with spikes and a bow.

There were black makeups at the fair, but I really liked the detail of these lips, so they got to stay. If you could only choose one thing to get from this post, I'd say go grab this skin, it is worth it.

On an added note, the bracers and the necklace are both gacha items from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival, currently going on now until the 21st. That only gives you a few more days to visit. If you have already been, well there were a few more gachas added, like these bracers, so you might have missed them, they are worth another visit.
