Darkberry

Gaaaah!  I get so excited when Halloween comes around!  I love dark makeup, spooky decor and all things creepy.  This skin isn't creepy but it does have the dark makeup. :D  I love the shimmer of the eyeshadow especially.  Get it free as a group gift from Rockberry.

My hair is from Mina and is currently available at the Cinema event.  This event is a.maz.ing. times ten.  One of my fave events of the year so far.  It's worth a visit just for the build!  This hair is available in lots of colors and there is another style at the event that has a Catwoman-style mask attached.  Check it out!

Good day! Sorry I've not been posting a lot here but I sure haven't been slacking. In addition to my own blog and other projects, I've been doing a lot of background work for Free*Style, including finding the right place for our new store!  That has been accomplished; and we are starting over from scratch so finding great items will be my next task.  In addition to free items we are including newer items that will be 25 L or less.  I will do an update post on the specifics very soon.  There are great bargains to find all over the grid and I wanted to share of few of my favorites.

Second Life is celebrating it's 9th Birthday and though Linden Labs did not officially sponsor the event this year (hmmmm) a group of lovely people took on the task.  KittyCats has a darling area that includes gifts and a competition for the best KittyCats display.  Do check them out and vote for your favorite.  The gifts are scattered around the area.  Right at the landing point KittyCats is offering a completely free limited edition kitty for SLB.  It comes with a free week of food and other cute decorations.   A.D.D. Andel has a free SLB version of it's kitty bed and it comes in 3 sizes.  Funky*Junk offers a totally adorable cat tree complete with ladder, floating butterflies and a swing.  It's just precious.

Somehow I stumbled upon a cute hunt being sponsored by Rockberry and Twilythula.  The hunt is free and at both stores.  Rockberry has a bunch of skins in the hunt and a huge set of lovely eyes.  Twilythula has lots of goodies, from skins to clothing.  I find that exclusive store hunts can be very charming.  Jane is having a great clearance on all her mesh clothes that predate Standard Sizing and I snagged several fatpacks.  Free demos are available.  I have adjusted my shape for an XS in Standard Sizing and I had no problem getting the two smaller sizes to fit....it all depended on the item.

ROCKBERRY! WOO!

When I saw it was group gift time at Rockberry my brain went all caps lock happy. I think you'll understand why! The skin is so young and fresh looking, I just can't get enough!

It comes with light and dark brow options as well as freckles or no freckles. I loved the freckles with the green dress; green + freckles = love. Top it off with this adorable free hair from Raspberry Aristocrat and you should have yourself feeling fine and dandy!

Weekly Notecard

OK, so you know how in some groups, like Lucky Chair Stalkers or Hey Girlfriend, etc., some of the awesome officers and owners will send out compilation note cards of things they have found that day/week/hour/whatev? Well, this is my weekly note card, in blog form, to you all! Yay!

First up, Domestic-V (easily one of my favey skin stores and one I think does not get enough recognition) gave out a group gift! The "Pinkie Pie" skin (I wonder if it was named after the My Little Pony?) is amazing on its own, but then the creator had to go and include three sets of cute lingerie just to make the gift even sweeter. (Yellow is not shown)

Second, more fashion and skin. Ashia gets all the credit for this skin though, she showed me where it was!!!!!!!!!!! So if she posts it again pretend it's the first time you've seen it :D (/me runs from her wrath squealing). The skin is a sepia toned group gift from Rockberry, another skin store that does great freckled faces (and non freckled too). The outfit on the left is a lucky board prize from Likka House (more on them in a sec) with boots from a camping chair at CuppyCake and the outfit on the right..shoes included...is a lucky board prize at Show Me on the Doll. Wooh! Who feels like stalking boards now?? Hopefully you do :P

Third, more Likka House! The Alice dress in the center photo is the latest 20 minute item camp. The past special Alice dresses are now available cheap cheap cheap in a random item vendor. There is also a secret one that I haven't got yet!! The other two dresses are two of the three group gift lovelies from Miu (pink not shown). Aren't they great?? Ten times better in person I swear. The skin I'm wearing with the Miu dresses is the lucky chair skin from Imagen and the skin worn with the Likka House dress is the group gift from Free Speerit. I love skins so much!

And three more before you can get rid of me >:P The pink dress is a picks rewards prize for April from Fashionity. I love the buttons. Buttons make me smile :D The second dress is a group gift from C'est La Vie. It's very chic in its simplicity, at least in my humble opinion. And then the third gift is oh so summery and a group gift from Little Fish. The colors are under used in SL I feel, so I was glad to see that one. The shoes were a freebie from Tesla..not sure if they are there anymore...but I think they are.
