New Head Who Dis?

So I finally got over to Catwa only to find out they realized that having their SIMS packed nonstop was not awesome for folks purchasing stuff that isn't their free head. The good news is that they've put FREYA on marketplace for you and and and I'm pretty excited that I picked it up.

This gorgeous cocktail dress is free for you to pick up over at FAMESHED. I do believe you need to be a group member and for the life of me I can't recall if that costs money. Regardless - WOW this month is worth the price of admission. The Haul of amazing and free things is HUUUUUUGE.

This dress is from Valentina E. for Maitreya Body and as with EVERYTHING she makes - it's gorgeous. Perfect for a Saturday Night date.

I really love the head. The lip applier included doesn't seem to work QUITE right - which seems odd. I'm  going to play with some other brands, but this is the applier that came with it for lips. There may be some details i'm missing about making this work right but with that being said - still - I love it.

Whatever, it was free. I'm not even complaining. It's gorgeous.

Get Ready For Sunday!!

  I want to give you the heads up on something that is not available until Sunday.  Let me say that again: not available until Sunday.  Why am I showing it to you now?  WHY MUST YOU TEASE US SILENY? Well, the item in question will be free on Sunday from 12pm-5pm SLT.  So I basically want to give you enough warning so that when Sunday comes around you can have this bookmarked and be ready to go!!

  The outfit is from Valentina E. and consists of the top and pants, which are connected.  This is the preview gift!!  The textures are crazy realistic and there are sizes in there for some mesh bodies, standard sizes, and FitMesh.  Once again, the item is only available for free on Sunday, September 12th, from 12pm-5pm.  Not after!!  To get this item you must join the Altitude group and be at the Altitude opening launch party during the mentioned time.  The event is to celebrate the opening of the Altitude art & music venue so they want everyone to be there when the party is on!
  The sweater tied around the waist is from Orange Pekoe.  It is labeled a demo but it is a wearable demo, as pretty much all of their demos are.

Bye-Bye Hair Fair 2013 and Bye-Bye Me!

How time flies!  Hair Fair 2013 is in it's last weekend.  I wanted to show you a few more items from the fair including a great gift in the photo below.  Both outfits I am featuring are outfits from Shop Free*Style, which I have not done nearly enough justice in promoting as there are really some wonderful things there for so cheap!  I also wanted to mention but I did not have time to take more shots, is that tomorrow, the closing day of Hair Fair is Bandana Day. Bandana Day is a hair fair tradition and you are to remove your pretty pixel hair and don a bandana in support of the kids that get help from Wigs for Kids, the hair fair charity.  There are some GORGEOUS bandanas to pick up for only 50 L each.  Each sim at Hair Fair has a store just for bandanas.  They are transferable and you can find them for both genders and in a wide variety of styles.  I bought...a lot. Of course, 100% of the proceeds benefit Wigs for Kids.

This is my last post for Free*Style. I've been with the blog since at least 2009; I can't remember the exact month but I've been at it a long time and it's time to move on.  Sileny Noel will remain owner of the blog as well as have control of Shop Free*Style.  Being a part of Free*Style has meant a lot to me, especially all the wonderful people I've met through it.  I've always been a huge clothes horse in SL, endlessly fascinated by the creative process, and blogging has given me a front row seat that I won't forget. It's been a challenging year in RL but I'm still around in SL from time to time and I'm always involved in lots of projects so hopefully I will see you around!  Take good care of the lovely and dedicated folks at Free*Style. A Love Letter To Free*Style

About three years ago I became a blogger for FREE*Style. It was a BIG deal.  I harassed Creamy rather relentlessly to get involved.  After she spoke to the other bloggers, the cool kids let me in the club house!  I was so thrilled and nervous putting together my first post.  FREE*Style was (and is!) the big leagues.  It sounds silly but I sort of felt I had 'made it' in our strange little SL fashion world.

Over time my SL pursuits have changed. I've continued to focus on my BDSM project at The Dominion Femdom, but my partner and I decided to close Vinyl Cafe last summer, which some of you may remember. The biggest change to my SL has been starting my original mesh clothing brand, Valentina E.  It's eaten up all my extra SL time and I no longer am able to blog for FREE*Style the way I used to.  So I've realized it's time to move on and relinquish my spot to the talented new ladies who are bringing you the finds regularly. They are doing an amazing job, don't you think?

As I designer I plan to continue to support FREE*Style, mainly through Shop FREE*Style (you can grab tons of inexpensive and high quality items in this wonderful shop put together by the FREE*Style team).  I want to thank Creamy and everyone at FREE*Style who were so kind and fun to work with. I'd like to especially thank Sileny who has looked out for me, kindly IM'd me when I made a mistake or offered help whenever I needed it. FREE*Style has never been about competition or pettiness, not between the ladies or with other fashion blogs. It's simply been about fun and fashion.  I am so proud to have been a part of it.  Long may it continue.
