I remembered this Crayola complimentary eye makeup on a $5L skin at The Sea Hole to match this happy DayGlo-streaked hair; the strawberry earrings are another free gift + I thought the pink heart lips tat was something Betsey herself might wear. My teddy munchies cap comes courtesy of RibboN's new $5L gatcha, featuring a cutesy assortment of beary ear hats (FYI these are non-trans tho'). -- I named my bear Pokey 'cuz he gives ya a hard poke in the eye if you try to steal his stuffs. *massages eye*
This fabby skin from La Vie landed in my do-not-miss pile. The skin is part of an entire avi (including the skin, vest + panties shown here) that's available for $1L (another one for guys too). -- The stage queen-heavy brows, frex + full lips come together to compose an expressive face; plus I like this all-over body tattoo, especially the Celtic patterns adorning the backs of the hands.
I want to point out my earrings from the Talisman store (a store that is new to me). Creator Hazel Kyrgyz has set out a wall of jewelery for $1L or free. Some of these pieces are just for fun (like the burnt toast earrings in the Styling Credits below) but these pretty peacock feather + yellow gold ones were too cute to pass up.
Who doesn't need a standing pose with 1 hand on hip? This one's $1L for the next month or so, courtesy of Free*Style's own Suri Christen for Doll. Some 'tude is necessary in life.

This enchanting skin was such a 'natch with the free sage green-gold "sprite" dress from Wishbox's MM board. For added fairyness I slipped on the wings + gloves from the lovely $1L Marinoco Fashion gift (which also includes a princess-like vanilla-colored strapless satin gown). -- These wings are some of the most unique I've seen, with white satin edging + feathered lavendar "veins" running thru the center. A pale rose motif "sprouts" from the middle of the wingbacks too; so so pretty + ya gotta love this level of detail.
It's tres stressful being a fairy sometimes. Flower meditation time is key.

I hadn't been there in awhile + was happy to see so many cute tops + jean skirts (that can also be worn without the skirt prim, as shorts, like I'm doing here) for either free or $1L. There's tons more reduced pieces starting at $25L and up too.
The beach bag + retro green sunglasses are free by Pelletteria Morrisey and the sparkly teal ballet flats (awww, pretty yellow stars make for happy feets!) are the free Elliot store opening gift by Tomoto.
I saw this free G&N tank top + patchwork capris outfit on The Freebie Telegraph (thank you Val -- you + Shania rock! *mwuahs*) that totally channeled a springtime mood. The tattoo I'm wearing is a free lucky board gift from I Heart Rien and features shadowy silhouettes of retro pinup girls (such a cool idea).
This relaxed, all-American look totally fit with these free red plaid ruffled T-strap heels by Nardcotix (this is 1 of 3 free shoe gifts they currently have for the Shoes & Accessories Hunt). These are really cute + the "scrunchy" ruffle textures are baked so prettily here. 
To close out my first post, I wanted to give a special nod to Creamy's homeland by honoring the U.K. national beverage -- tea! How cute is this free tower of leaning teacups for your head from rbcg? -- What's actually kinda funny about this sign behind me is that Creamy says this to me all the time. -- Ahhh poor woman. Little does she know that I'm really a tres jaded soul who shamelessly uses fashion to cover my many, many other flaws. -- What up Creamster! Aren't you glad you invited me to join? *salutes*
Now since you can't have tea without biscuits, I wanted to show you one of my fave freebies in SL: Pop*Feel's homage to everyone's favorite biscuit ("biscuit" means "cookie" in the U.K., right?), the Oreo. This scrumptious free sweet treat doubles as a pose stand + most def cutesies up the whole freezing-your-avi-while-you-change bit(I have 2 in my home). F'get the tea -- pass the milk, darnit!
