Good enough to Eat

30L Saturday has been a staple of my weekly shopping experience for a long time. I enjoy the fantasy, along with the other things I wear, and there was always some of that mixed in the weekly list.

Well, they are having their 10th Anniversary, and for a wee bit they have all the list's designers in one spot.

There are gifts abound, just got to wear the group tag(Free to Join). There are L$30 items in every booth, as well as 50% off items. Some designers also have Gachas.

Nails can be hard to see in torso shots, so that above is the gift nails I am wearing. They are Bento enabled.

The event ends tomorrow, Feb. 27th, so you might want to rush on down and get yourself some goodies and a few new and cheap treats.

Tuesdays are always fun for me. I have been a shopper of the 25L Tuesdays List since 2010. Many designers have come and gone from the list over the years, but new ones are always being added, so there is always something to catch my eye every week.

Mistique offers up 3 colourations of their Atiya outfit, which I am wearing the blue. I picked it up because the fringe just called to me.

Calico is also on the list this week, offering 2 hairstyles. Each Texture pack is L$25 and the fatpack is discounted. This is Mantha, and she comes with options for the ties and rings, so you can better match your outfits.

Miss (inherownlil) World

I saw this dress, and it made me think of the huge SL campaigns, for the various "Miss" competitions. The whole outfit had me in giggle fits, since I made it earlier on the weekend, but didn't have time to take photos. Went everywhere just like this over the weekend, when I did have time to do things. It was super fun.

Tiffany Designs made a wonderful dress for Miss Canada recently, I am not sure if that is what made me think of this gown in a similar light. This dress is their newest SL Free & Offers Group Gift. There is a bunch of other offers around too, so it is worth a look, even if this dress isn't your sort of thing.

***Note - My Tiara was a freebie on SLM for years, and it saddens me to see it now gone. I have used it for many silly little things, and has surprisingly been a staple through the years. There are many other tiaras on SLM that are of a similar style, from L$0 to L$10, so hopefully you can find a replacement you enjoy. L$100 Catwa Static Head

 So I got a pleasant surprise today, when one of my fellow Free*Style Bloggers, Synful Ghost, let me know about what was going down with Catwa. In recent months, they had released news that they were making basic heads, heads that had less of the fluff(expression options and such). This was exciting, as some of us don't need a bagillion expressions, and would be content with a head with less options. So an Animated Catwa Head will cost you just over 4k, while the basic is L$910. The Basic Heads allow you to customize what sort of features you do want with your head, in the way of addons. The new Static Heads differ from the Basic Heads, because they do not have animation capabilities, thus no addon features. But who is going to complain, when it is only L$100 for a Static head?

I hope that the price point isn't a trial, or a one off thing. I think this is a good option for content creators, for testing their appliers. While Catwa does have a unique system, that allows you to check textures from your desktop, on their tester heads, the use of these Static Heads far surpasses that, as they can also be used in ads. I really hope they end up taking this program and using it for their male mesh head line.

The first Static Head up for grabs is Nicki.

 To the Left is the Static Nicki Head with one of the default skin options you will find in the head hud. I also am wearing a liner that comes preloaded into the hud. It's a very mature look, this head, I feel. 

To the Right is the same head, but I change the default skin, and used an omega applier skin I have from Kooqla. I threw on some blush from the head hud, and the lipstick and eyeshadow are from the Kooqla Dkin Hud.

Hairbases also come in the Head Hud, in Natural Colours.

Lady of the Wild Hunt

 We Love Roleplay is open for another round, but this time it's a little bit special. It is the 3rd birthday for We Love Roleplay, and many of the designers have made little treats for you to pick up. They range from free to L$10, with a few of them being WLRP Group Gifts.

Keep in mind too, that We Love Roleplay is a discount event, each designer has a new item at a reduced price, and some have older items at half off.

Soul recently updated their Uni Ears, I just received mine this morning. If you ever bought a set(no matter what type of ear) and did not receive your redelivery, please go to the mainstore and pick one up from the terminal.

What you get in your new package will be whatever year it was you bought, which will now be V2. The Hud included now has additional markings for you to play with. There is also no need to wear multiple huds to get the look you want, it is all on one single hud. You also get all of the Generation 1 skin tones now, included, even the special edition ones.

Fantasy Faire 2016 - Sun Worship

This outfit it a bit more revealing than what we normally show here at Free*Style, but that is the great thing about Fantasy Faire. You can do something a little bit different than normal, and it is okay.

I am mostly wearing Relay for Life Exclusive Charity items from the faire today. Poet's Heart has this skimpy little number as their Exclusive Relay for Life 100% Charity Item. There is another colouration up for grabs as well, done up in purples. I paired it with another charity item, the Corsair Jewelry set by Oxide. The coins can change faces, there is a super cute pirate one I really like. 

Wasabi Pills has one of their colour packs for each of their new hairs, set out for Relay for Life. The pack is called Solar, and has all sorts of fun colours on the hud. I am wearing Kai. Finally, I put on the new Something Wicked Nails by Dark Passions/Koffin Nails. All proceeds for to Relay for Life, and they are priced at at discount as well, you save L$75!

Humpday Hunting - FemBoy Hunt

The FemBoy hunt is going on right now, so I thought I'd steal Helena's hunt feature today, and cover a few items. The Hunt runs from now until April 30th. This time around it is Gothic themed.

There is a surprising number of female items, more so than any round of the hunt, in the past. I was a little disappointed in this, but still managed to make a look from some of the offerings.

This is one of those hunts where all the slurls are on a website, not inworld in the hunt objects, so you need to go to the site to participate in this hunt. You can also see all the hints and preview pics of the hunt items.

Analog Dog has a fatpack of hair as a group gift for the Hair SL group, near their gachas. I am not sure for how long. Join the group (The sign is right beside the fatpack), then while wearing the tag, hit the fatpack button. It was a little tricky for me to get it to work, I think mostly due to how busy it was on the sim, and the way SL was working for me today. I ended up left clicking it and then pressing touch in the pie menu.

All the Bling

No actual bling, but lots of lovely new shinies!

Stix has done it again, and has brought us a bunch of alternative skin tones to play around with, this time for Fair Play. You can even grab this one for free!

I picked up the new group gift from Maxi Gossamer, which is this little next necklace. There is a short one and a long one(not worn) and both have colour change options to better suit any outfit. I paired the necklace up with the newest jewelry release from Plastik, which you can find at N21(open until April 11th). The Secretus set comes with a gem change hud, so you can match it really well with the Maxi Gossamer Necklace. There are different metals for purchase, I'm just wearing the Noir here.

JoJ and MENstuff Hunts - Part 3

February is a wonderful month for the guys. There is not only one, but two hunts with many items for the men of the grid to enjoy.

Jack or Jill hunt is a hunt with split paths, one path with a series of designers dedicating items to the women, and one path with the same, but for the men.

MENstuff Hunt is a Guy only hunt, tho many ladies do do it as well, to nab accessories and hairs.
