Easy Like Sunday Mornin'

I started my day in typical Sunday morning fashion.. VERY hungover and wondering if I would roll out of bed before noon struck. *Plop, plop, fizz, fizz* A lil Alka Seltzer helped me clear my head and I hopped on SL to start my hunt.


Even though I was wearing nothing more than a pair of basketball shorts in RL I figured that SL may require something more. A quick click on the hoorenbeek subscribe-o-matic provided me with a very comfy Amsterdam Ringer T to get things started. Next I was able to pick up a braclet courtesy of Maylo Designs at the Cybertopia Bay Grand Opening Gift Shop (kudos to Voshie Paine for this tip off). Although they weren't free, the pair of Indulgence Distressed Jeans ($150L) fit quite well after loosening them up a bit. If I was gonna be presentable I better have a decent pair of shoes to wear so I slid on some black creepers that I picked up at SF Designs and I was ready to roll.

The Alka Seltzer was working it's magic but when that sun hit my eyes I realized I was gonna need some shades. Kalnins Optics group gift did the trick. I was able to detect other avatars and give them a friendly smile (they are heavily scripted which was a welcome surprise).


About that time some business contacts IM'd me so it needed to spruce myself up a bit. After a quick shower I threw on Indira Bekkers "Faith" suit and matched it with a grey shirt and tie from Vidal that I had previously grabbed from the Cybertopia Bay Gift Shop (do these people have a main store? If so, I wasn't able to find it but they do have several shops not only in Cybetopia Bay but strewn about the grid if you use the Search feature). The skin you see is free from Belleza which is a rare find for us guys.


While I was at it I figured why not accessorize a bit... so I threw on Bastchild Designs Silver and White Sapphire Band. I also made myself a bit more presentable with a fat pack of Truth's dollarbie Kensei hairstyles.


Meeting over... ready to relax. I searched through an overflowing gift bag from Valiant and found their Relax Blue Shirt and Tan Cargo Shorts were perfect for chilling on my patio with a cocktail. Reaction charcoal thongs ($70L) complete this outfit.


Now, it is no surprise to those who know me well that I have earned the nickname "Socks" for reasons I won't expound upon on at this time, hehe. Those cocktails got me in the mood to sack out on the couch with not much else on. I let my clothes fall to the floor and was left with nothing but a pair of white boxers from Sartoria Italiana and what else but a pair of socks that I picked up from INDI Designs. (They have a brilliant freebie scheme where they release one item of an outfit per week and at the end you have an entire matching set.)

So as I lay here looking at the clock and realizing it is actually Monday I hope you can enjoy the rest of your week with some new stylish threads for next to nothing. And.. for those of you who question my skillz, YES.. I did this all without Adi's superior fashion sense so hopefully it wasn't too unbearable lol. G man OUT.

50 Neko First Dates

I couldn't help but make a bad pun on that movie's title, because it captured exactly what G and I were up to yesterday. All kinds of different things you could do on a date in SL. Well, I can't promise they're overly normal things, but things to do just the same. And when G djs at the Zodiac Lounge in City of Lost Angels on Thursdays, he shows up as a junkie neko boi and pulls it off perfectly. It's highly questionable that I pull off his vampire girlfriend at all when I go listen to him, but I do my best. As for the neko thing, some of you have given me some great encouragement, so I thought I would give it a whirl with G and see what happened.

I was finally able to get to Rezzable's Aloha beach yesterday after G and I visited NekoGear. There's nothing like showing up at NG and seeing DarkLour Watanabe, the owner and probably the most badass-looking male neko in SL, in lifeguard gear! Yup, he's just made some kyoot beachy Neko clothing and lots of it is free!

I don't normally go for clothing with logos on it, but the logo is subtle and check out the ah..."details" on the kini top! I'm wearing the free flip flops and kini, and we're sitting on the free NG towel. I also have on the "Pirate Bead Bracelet from Accessories by Eolande that was a lucky chair gift.

The skin is a really gorgeous gift from the opening of Velvet Island, Bianca Foulon's new and very posh shopping sim. There are hearts all around the sim - find them to receive some equally posh gifts! This skin is called "Adriana" and it's from a LessThan3 gift heart. The "Kensei" hair from Truth is a recent dollarbie and the FlipSide "Starz" tats are available for $200L. My neko "Rent Punk" ears are from SWEET LEOnard and the tail is from Hybrid (both are not free).

Gecko has on the free NG trunks and flip flops as well as a free necklace and bracelet that is in a freebie-specific section loaded with good stuffs. His Belleza skin is available for free for group members in-store and the "Danny" hair is a dollarbie from Truth. The Hybrid "Counter Culture" ears and "Wasteland" tail are both available for $200 each.

Thundercats, hooo!!!

Yep, we turned into ninja cats in Straylight to goof off a bit after we got these freebies from Muism. (Don't all great ninja fight scenes happen while running on tops of trees with swords? Or was that just Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. That was the thought behind the location. Meep.) I'm wearing the "Sweet Peach Kimono" and he has on the "Sasaki Kojiro" outfit.

The poses we're busting out are by 5ifth Order. If you ever wanted to look badass with a sword, a gun, or even your fists, you want to visit Jonny Dusk's shop. Inspired by comic books, video games, and his own vivid imagination, he makes the most unique poses in SL hands-down (and they're great for all of the goofy adventures I like to go on and take pictures of, lol). There are also some nice fashion poses for both guys and girls. This "Non-Combat Sword Animation Ovverider" is available for $1350L, or you can pick up individual poses for around $100L each.

The Mushashi blades aren't even close to free and I'm an idiot just for buying them for fashiony pics, but Muism has cool free katanas to complete your look.

After the ninja cat shenanigans, we decided to get a little casual chic and go to my favorite blues bar, Toby's Juke Joint Blues Club. For our last Neko date, I have on the Zenith freebie dress from the Don't Ask opening Ashia blogged, and it's available just until tonight, so go get it!

The bag is a group gift from GaZoV Designs that is also available in-store. You must pick this up to at least see the kyoot box it comes in that celebrates soccer! The silver bangles are free from Lapointe & Bastchild's awesome sauce freebie area. The "Micha" hair is new from Philotic Energy and is available in a 3 color pack for $199L.

Gecko is wearing the Lapointe & Bastchild's Retro "Sunday Fade" shirt in light blue that is also in their delicious freebie room of goodness. The rest of his items are non-free but quite nice (hey, cut him a break - he hasn't been at this too long!), including jeans from Dutch Touch ($150L), Urban Bomb Unit "Sk8trs" shoes ($395L), and Ekstras' Ginza Wristband ($75L). how are you doing? Myself is pretty busy in rl, working on final project and packing to go home; didnt really have time to get on SL as often as before.

Actually, the reason for me to send this notecard out is because i have decided to close GHOST!, the last day would be this weekend on sunday.

Mainstore at Fragment ( the new sim of Aria's requiem) and the group will be closed!!!

It's not a gimmick or anything, just the fact that i think its about time to close it. GHOST! has always been a fun, hobby-project for myself on here since i super duper lub pretty CLOTHES<3 and ghost stories in general. However, after thinking about this for awhile, it comes to a conclusion that i just simply dont like the way where GHOST! is going, and for myself...my way of working on projects would be to drop those that i dont want to continue and not regret, since this is sl, so i wont have other consequences to go thru and blahh -3- *cough cough* tutors wont go mad; other than that, rl always comes first for me. but anywho..... I might start something new after summer holiday (cant wait to go yumcha <3) if my time allows me, but probably wont be just a typical clothes store, dont want to bore myself to death really -O- So, its the happy ending day for GHOST! this weekend!!! Thank you so much for supporting my store and me in general <3 HAVE A GOOD ONE!! AND LUB LUB LUB YOU ALL SO MUCH!! HAHAHAH! LUB LUB! Tri :D

i cry. in fact, i'm so despondent i couldn't even take any pictures :p. triangle's always been good to us free*stylers, so if yall have any lindens burning holes in your pockets, get yer behinds down to the store and buy everything. okay, i'm off to sit in the dark listening to the cure and counting the minutes til she comes back to us with her special brand of designer witchery.

先日ナチュラムに新店舗を構えたKuri Styleからガーリーな新作が出ました＾＾ドット柄、コサージュ、フリフリ、女の子が好きなポイントがてんこ盛りです。こちらは日本時間火曜の深夜までの限定でL$1です。

I Lurve Summer Clothes!

The only trouble with summer clothes is...well, it's presumably summer if you're wearing them, and if you're on the East Coast of the U.S., you're probably just like me and not enjoying the pre-summer weather at the moment. It reached 110 degrees today and I decided to take my husky's lead and sit by the air conditioner for most of it. The good news is that I found some great freebies while I kept him and the air conditioner company!

Ashyra Leigh of Magique is celebrating the opening of her new sim late into tonight with live music and a gem hunt! The gems in Magique contain gorgeous jewelry and the gems within the close by iZa Boutique contain clothes, jewelry, and a beautiful bronzed skin! Stop by and congratulate Ashyra on her new sim and store and stay to hear some great music while you hunt. The hunt will last until tomorrow around noon-ish SL.

Now I know this will come as a shock to you all, but SL wasn't behaving and I couldn't tp to my favorite beach at Rezzable's Aloha sim to take pictures! Le gaspe! So I ended up taking them at my quiet little home I share with G while a neighbor's wedding guests kept flying crazily around and ending up in most of the pictures, lol. But here we go!

The bronzed skin and top are from the gem hunt at iZa Boutique. The bracelet and earring are from Magique's gem hunt. (Remember - the hunt only lasts until tomorrow!)

The "Femme Fatale" hair is the latest House of Heart gift that is available in-store. It comes with optional "flip bangs" that I'm wearing here. The kini bottoms are from a very generous gift bag at Stellar Designs at Relay for Life's Fashion Expo that lasts until the 9th.

Those Corona commercials really get to me - can you tell? The beach blanket with this kyoot pose is a group gift from Surf Co. It's incredibly well made and is not the average free beach towel from semi-dubious sims. Whatever that means. But seriously! The store is full of really summery beachy chic clothing and accessories too. The "Kickers Flippers" flip flops are $89L from KK Outfitters.

Of course I couldn't lounge around the house without G chasing me, lol. The lounge chairs were a subscribe-o-matic group gift from The Loft that is no longer available, but it's totally worth getting on the subscribe-o-matic list because the designer is frequently generous. I put on the Stellar Designs kini top on for this shot.
