As many of you already know, there is currently celebrations going on in Second Life, as it is 18 years old.

To go along the normal Exhibit and Celebration sims, there is also a Shop & Hop going on. With 18 Shopping Sims, there is around 300+ designers, all with booths that have all their items reduced, as well as a gift.

I might not be able to cover all the sims, but I am going to give it a try!  This was very popular last year, and while Free*Style has been rather dormant, and my focus has been on Second Life Syndicate, I figured this was the best place for something like this.

Today we will be covering the offerings at the Aurelian Sim.

Seraphim just marked it's 5th Anniversary, yesterday, and with that, it is a dawn of a new era in Event Coverage. Seraphim has create an inworld hud, which brings the experience of the useful site that much closer to your finger tips.

So how will this little hud change your life? Well if you are into the event hopping, this is a good way to start. Seraphim does not cover everything that happens in sl, but it does cover a good number of it. You might learn about new events, or missed ones, with this hud, as it is much quicker to scroll a little list. I already found a few I forgot about, and I am on the Seraphim site often.

I am not going to go into every detail of this, there are all the informational pages linked above, it also comes with inworld instructions. There is even a video created to help you get on your way to using the hud, which you can find HERE and see Strawberry's Review and Video HERE.

What I will say is that I look forward to using some of the features of this hud. I am forever forgetting when events open, so having a super quick source for that, as a blogger, will be lovely. I like the idea of the favorites feature. The Auto Tper, while I do own one, will be handy, cause I always forget what the one I own is called. I will probably use it to check things I have missed, I miss a lot, as some weeks I have a lot going on with my own store.

Seraphim also had a big celebration, with all sorts of DJs and designers gifts. Some of the Designers are being generous, and have placed the gifts out at their mainstores. That designer lady has left me again. You think she would learn. You never leave your avi on, all by herself, afk for long periods of time.

At least I didn't dress in pink right? Maybe that will be for tomorrow.

For now, I just rotated all her work projects 25 degrees.

Jackpot Gacha is running until 11:59pm June 25th. All gachas are L$30 and each participant has a free gift out for you all to enjoy. What really makes this different from other events, is that you have a chance to win 1, 2, or 3 items per pull. So you basically just play the machines as usual, and you have a chance to win more than one item per play.

All sorts of summery events are starting this month, so I thought I would venture out and into the sun. I found a few cute things you might enjoy on your own treks to the beach.

Soul has a wonderful set of 4 eyes currently at We Love Roleplay, that you can pick up for free. The great part about this pack is that applier huds are included(along with the mesh and system eyes), so if you enjoy wearing Genesis Labs heads, there is a hud for their eyes, as well as an Omega Hud for other heads/eyes. Fair Play has an unique concept going on at their event. Last month was the first time they tried it out, and they brought it back for this month. Each designer has made a special gacha item, and they all have teamed up to create one super Team Gacha. Lady of the Wild Hunt

 We Love Roleplay is open for another round, but this time it's a little bit special. It is the 3rd birthday for We Love Roleplay, and many of the designers have made little treats for you to pick up. They range from free to L$10, with a few of them being WLRP Group Gifts.

Keep in mind too, that We Love Roleplay is a discount event, each designer has a new item at a reduced price, and some have older items at half off.

Soul recently updated their Uni Ears, I just received mine this morning. If you ever bought a set(no matter what type of ear) and did not receive your redelivery, please go to the mainstore and pick one up from the terminal.

What you get in your new package will be whatever year it was you bought, which will now be V2. The Hud included now has additional markings for you to play with. There is also no need to wear multiple huds to get the look you want, it is all on one single hud. You also get all of the Generation 1 skin tones now, included, even the special edition ones.

Katfish

Enchantment is hosting a wonderful hunt right now, to go along side it's main event. While there has been some bad press for the main event recently, that does not mean you can't support your favorite designers, and bring them some much needed traffic to their mainstores.

This hunt is a very small one, and shouldn't take you all that long to complete. There are a few stops that are sort of tricky, due to designers scripting the hunt object, so be sure to check your objects, notecard and landmark folders. I think there was only 3 locations that were not set right, everything else will come to you in folders. Each folder will have notecard with the landmark to the next location, as well as a hint.

The event is a short one, having opened on the 2nd, and ending on the 9th of May. That means you do not have much time to get on over before it is all packed up. Don't miss this first one!

Depraved Nation has an annual event every March for Saint Patties. This is one of my fav events, because I love the colour green in sl. PixyStix has this cute mesh top as a rare in their machine. I'm not normally a cow, but I guess it doesn't hurt to do it once.

I have more Skin Fair goodies to tease you with. There is only one more day to wait, and then you will all have a chance of trying to get in.

Very few booths have gifts, but many have some discounts for the thrifty shopper. Plastik has a nail applier pack for L$1, with various colour options. AlaskaMetro has testers of their whole booth collection, so you can try a colour, before you buy a pack. The makeup packs here are really affordable too. I picked one up for L$25. PixyStix has their skin line reduced to 50% for the fair. There is a crazy amount of appliers, the most I have seen any skin store carry, to be honest. So for L$300, I think it is worth it, for a quality skin. There are normal tones, as well as fun fantasy ones. To complete the look, and just be glam, I have on a face tat from  no.7, which are the cute little stars. They are on both sides, but not reflected, giving you a more varied look when you put them on.
