As many of you already know, there is currently celebrations going on in Second Life, as it is 18 years old.

To go along the normal Exhibit and Celebration sims, there is also a Shop & Hop going on. With 18 Shopping Sims, there is around 300+ designers, all with booths that have all their items reduced, as well as a gift.

I might not be able to cover all the sims, but I am going to give it a try!  This was very popular last year, and while Free*Style has been rather dormant, and my focus has been on Second Life Syndicate, I figured this was the best place for something like this.

Today we will be covering the offerings at the Aurelian Sim.

I am going to continue to use good old uber ebil alter ego Helli as our gift model throughout the rest of the gift guides. She did such a good job, and I sort of forgot how cute her avatar was.

Genesis Lab also has a pose as part of their gift, I totally forgot about it at the bottom of the skin folder, so didn't manage to shoot it.

The Stringer Mausoleum has a Bonus Hairstyle slipped into the Unisex gift. The Ad just shows the eyes, but there is hair too, so if you men haven't been by, and you like mohawks, it is worth it to pick up!

The Wreath from Fantasy China is super cool, it is scripted, and it sort of looks like sparkly clouds are swirling around. It is mildly eerie, but I like it.



The Stringer Mausoleum Booth also has a little hunt going on. If you missed the Cruel Summer Hunt, you can have a chance to get some of the gifts, prices ranging from L$5 to L$35. There are 14 to collect, and all the unisex ones are marked. There are 4 extra Unisex ones, only L$1 each.

BHD has L$1 inserts to work with other products. They don't really work stand alone, and not sure if you would make them work with other houses or skyboxes. Could be creatively used as backdrops for bloggers, if you are craft and such.

Mandilena has a whole pack of gestures that are celebration based, and most could be used for various events or gatherings. I didn't really know how to go about blogging gestures, so you will just hav to check them out for yourself.

With the Alantori Branded Hat Hairstyle, yours will look different than mine in the shot above. That is because I took the branding off. I feel in most cases, I just don't want my various avatars wearing sl specific branding. Luckily the item is mod. When you are editing, you can click edit linked parts, click the words mesh, and set the texture to alpha(or 100% transparency). Poof, no more branding! You now are not a walking billboard, and have a more functional item to wear.
