Hello!

I usually avoid gachas. They take all my money and I end up with a bunch of things I don't need and not the one thing I wanted. But I also usually make an exception with Clawtooth hair, because I don't need the rare, just the brunettes pack, and I tend to get lucky.

I went by the Dilly Dolls store today, because the Twisted Hunt has started and she had that gorgeous mesh corset out. I'm not one to show my boobies so I'm wearing a tank top layer from Izzie's underneath.

Inspiring Hope and Love

2016 has not been a good year, to say the least. Unfortunately for me, it started last year when I lost my dad two months, to the day, before his 69^th birthday. David’s music was helping me through that loss. Like so many others, his music had been the soundtrack of my life. Then we lost him five months later. The two men who inspired me the most were gone and 2016 continued like a snowball rolling down a very steep hill.

Now the talented and creative people that inhabit this Second Life of ours have filled two current events with inspiration, hope and love.

There's still a few days left of the Wayward Hunt so if you haven't zipped around and picked up some great gifts, now is your chance to go.

A few things to keep in mind with the hunt and items - the skin from Clef de Peau, while it is a great skin and very nicely detailed, has no eyebrows. I didn't notice the small print on the advert at first that the eyebrows were to be purchased, and I was already at home dressing so I just used others I had in my inventory.

Also a couple of the stores are sneaky with their hunt items.  I'm not sure if there was a limit as to how far from the landing point the boxes had to be hidden but one was at the back of the store OUTSIDE and almost underwater.  Another wasn't in the store itself but outside on top of billboard type poster.  So REALLY pay attention to the clues.  It seems gone are the days of hunt items being hidden INSIDE the actual store involved.

Casual Mix

Decided to just post a nice, casual look.  It's fall now so it's all about the layering (but I am still so all about the bright colors!) so having a cute, cropped sweater is a must.

There's a store-wide hunt going on right now at DeeTaleZ where you are looking for flowers (orange/yellow for girls; blue for guys). There's so many free goodies here for the scooping; in particular, these free black women's jeans with white stitching were so nicely textured that I just had to build a look around them.
How cute is this free black + yellow sporty jacket by Wave? Check out the lovely back shadowing on the yellow stripe too.
The fingerless white gloves also come from the Wave outlet, where an entire wall of goodies awaits for free or $1L. There are so many cute things here (these are just 2 of 'em). Upon entering the store, look for the "Go To Outlet" sign on the left wall; click to reach the higher outlet level (the wall of freebies is labeled as such). -- Srsly this place is like, manna from heaven for any frugalistas. The hair, eyes, scarf + poses shown here are all free or $1L as well.
This pix is 'cuz I couldn't decide which hair I liked better with this look, LOL. This lovely bob style with ribbon headband is the free hair gift by Roge, where you can change hair color, ribbon color + size via a handy menu.

Everything You Need.

The only thing you can't hunt for, appearance wise, at DeeTalez is hair; Calico Ingmann, however, is having a hunt. So hunt numero uno plus hunt numero dos equals super full avatar!

In the hunt at DeeTalez you are looking for pumpkins. There are two pumpkins in each section, green pumpkins being for males and orange being for females.

I tried to take pictures of the male goods, but I failed hardcore. I am so not a male. Guys....I don't know how you do it!! But there are skins, shapes, shoes, tattoos, jewelry, accessories and clothes in this hunt for you!!!

At Calico Ingman you are also looking for pumpkins. They are scattered around the whole store (and there might even be one in the Silent Sparrow mini shop :D) amidst pumpkins that do not contain gifties. There are also pumpkins that contain skins but they are smaller and I had a hard time finding them on my laggy end. The sad face.

There are about a million hairs in special Halloween colors in the Calico hunt so only a fraction are pictured here. There are a bunch more things from DeeTalez not pictured either. Guess that just means you go hunt for them to see them :D
