You have till the end of the month to get these lovely items from Glutz, the hunt costs 6L a piece, there is a hint board when you land at the entrance of the store. JapanDragon has several Kemono mods in the lucky board and it's on 10 min time. The group is free to join, it's a cute shop and look around the store affordable mods for everyone. My favorite one to date is the free mod I gotten from Halloween Last year that too is in the lucky board.

I love how designers are getting on board with the Lucky Boards and Midnight Mania boards again. I LOVE doing them and I sat at Olive to get this freakish hairstyle that I thought went pretty well with my kemono idea. So if you have some time wanting to waste or bored go hit these places up and get some cheap, but bangin' items.

I have only made 4 outfits in total so far, for my kimono avatar, but it always seems like an epic adventure. Having been with Free*Style for nearly 8 years, it is always in my nature to make a few free outfits, for any special avatar that I purchase.

 

The Kemono is a challenge, and I have been enjoying it.

 

If you end up buying one, or have one and are just getting started, I have 2 simple tips. Modding is your friend and Unrigged items are where it is at!

Hey, it's Helena, furry, cute lil Helena. Well, Furlehna, but you get the idea. I decided Furlehna was going to be a thing, cause while I don't mind blogging the Kemono, and maybe soon actual furries, on my main avatar, it is rather limiting to some of the things I can blog. Helena has a set style, even when she goes out of style. She is also a hair designer, so she only wears her own hair.

 

Furlehna has no such restrictions, so I hope to find you various items I would probably never wear, but work for her cute little self.

It is surprisingly hard to find free physical clothing for the Kemono Avatar. What do I mean by this? well the Kemono Avatars are not like the default avatars, so they require either items that are non rigged, or specifically made for them, or a lucky find that just happens to fit.

 

There are is a lot of clothing out there made for them, and most makers offer the mesh UVs and Textures, so you can make a texture with them and bring it inworld yourself. You wont find them giving out these meshes for free though. So shopping on a budget can be tricky, especially if you just got your Kemono Avatar, which is nearly 1k.

 

A lot of stores offer these mods for free or cheap, but you have to have that original item, and most of them cost L$200+ for that base item.

 

I want to try to help you guys with finding some things to outfit your Kemonos, but not at the huge startup cost. I can't guarantee totally free outfits with this avatar, but I will try to keep the cost as low as I can.

'Sup Guys

  So my computer is working...sort of.  I discovered how to get onto SL and take a photo but the photos are sort of horrible.  So I had to fix this one up with a lot of post-process, even though it looks like it's not really.  So just be warned that colors especially may not be what they appear inworld compared to what they look like here.  Thankfully all of this stuff is cheap so if you end up not liking it you are missing out on like ten cents. XD

  The "skin" I am wearing is actually a mod applier for the Utilizator Avatar 2.0 Beta that I am wearing.  The av itself is only 400L and there are some fun appliers like this one, and also anyone can make appliers for it if they get the av so that's cool.  This applier mod is from Milk Teeth and is only 5L.
  My eyes are from Real Eyes and are only 5L, and include black, white, and mesh.  They are really cool and creepy and the store has lots of other cheapies too.
  My top is from a big pack of colors by Vitrimi.  I was first wearing the black color for the photo but decided I kind of liked this color better for the contrast.  It's nice to have flexible color options for only 1L!
  My hair is a group gift from Little Bones.  I honestly can't even remember if it is the latest gift or not because the store releases so many gifts.  There are lots of past gift for members in the store too so even if this wasn't the most recent you can still find it there.  There is a very small group join fee that is nothing at all compared to the generosity of the owners.
  Hope you like this post and I hope I can keep this computer going to do more.  The Free*Style readers and bloggers have made my SL very joyous on many occasions and I hope to be posting for you for a long time to come. :)

Bunnies, We Have No Problem

  So I am kind of in love with bunnies.  Many of my friends know this.  Isabelli, Free*Style blogger and owner of Uncertain Smile knows this, and when she made this adorable bunny helmet available for free I am sure she knew I would be excited.  YAY ISABELLI!  Another free thing on my av is the eyes from the store Banana Banshee, made by Rosemarie Indigo who is also a blogger for us.  I have to say I feel like such a spoiled brat sometimes getting to blog with so many designers here.  It's awesome!

  The Shop Free*Style hunt is *technically* over now so people can pick up their things whenever they want but I gave the puppy dog eyes to Isabelli and Rose and asked if they would leave these gifts out for now.  They said yes, woo!  Go and grab them now before they change their mind and take them away into outer internet space.
