Now, you should know that I'm wearing a mesh body in these pictures (the Maitreya Lara one), simply because I think it looks better when taking pictures, but it doesn't work very well with the dress, and there a little skin poking out around the shoulder blade on one side, which you can't see because I'm only showing the front. When wearing the regular SL body, the alpha does the trick, and it's a free dress, and apart from that very pretty!

Spring Cleaning Sale at Curio

Hello!! My favorite skin maker in SL is having a retirement sale for ALL her existing skin lines. I didn't have to dig very far in my inventory to find some of the gorgeous skins that will soon disappear from the store, and I thought I'd show you a few of them, in various tones and make ups. Hello! I've been active in SL (aka not just playing Barbie on Freebie Island) since late 2007, and a fan of Evie Miles' creation probably since early 2008. In the beginning I was fangirling her a lot, but then I got to know her and I am now proud to call her a friend (and fangirling even more!) When something's free at Evie's Closet, you don't hesitate, you run and get it, log in all your alts and get it for them and tell ALL your friends who log their alts and tell their friends who log their... you get the idea. Since you don't want to be the only person on the grid missing the free stuff at Evie's Closet, I strongly advise you to run there ASAP. Deviance

Hello!! Deviance has a very pretty free gown hidden in store until the end of the month. What you're looking for is a big red heart, it's quite easy to find. Funny thing is, right when I was trying it on, the adorable Maxi Gossamer sent me her Collabor 88 items and, if you look closely, the colors match the gown to perfection. As I was looking for the perfect hair to compliment the outfit, I went back to C88 myself and got the latest little wonder from Bubbles Clawtooth. I didn't even need to change my eyes since I was still wearing Poetic Colors latest freebie, shown in my previous post.

Baroque style...

Hello! Poetic Colors just released a new series of eyes! They come in 3 sizes, 3 levels of white and of course with the system eyes and mesh. No demo available, but instead, even better : a free color. This exquisite shade of purple, Orchid, is simply stunning.

Once I had the eyes I had to match them with clothes and all, so I finally faced the crowd at Collabor 88 and one of the first things to rez for me was that dress from Chantkare. No need to say I bought it immediately (without even trying a demo, I know, baaaad, but I'm lucky it's standard sizing and fits me perfectly)

To understand my reaction to the dress, you need to see the picture below. The dress belonged to my grand-mother, who was always very elegant and fashionable, and she would wear it at cocktail parties and when she passed away my mom thought I'd like to have it. So yeah, this is me :
