Alt Time

  So my alt always finds the best gifts.  My main can't really be in many store groups because I own a store and blog and those things take up almost all of my group slots. Sad face.  Also, my main has a giant inventory that lags me everywhere and my alt has a tiny one so it's easier to do hunts and stuff.  For some reason though I always forget to check my alt.  Not today!!  I am having a hard time taking pics because my computer is dying but I think I got it good enough to share.  So, anyway, enough babble!  Check the pic and details below. :D

Evie's Closet

Hello! I've been active in SL (aka not just playing Barbie on Freebie Island) since late 2007, and a fan of Evie Miles' creation probably since early 2008. In the beginning I was fangirling her a lot, but then I got to know her and I am now proud to call her a friend (and fangirling even more!) When something's free at Evie's Closet, you don't hesitate, you run and get it, log in all your alts and get it for them and tell ALL your friends who log their alts and tell their friends who log their... you get the idea. Since you don't want to be the only person on the grid missing the free stuff at Evie's Closet, I strongly advise you to run there ASAP. These are not new creations, so you might already have them, but they've not aged a bit, and are still gorgeous.

Fable - Halloween

I dare you to find in your inventory another piece of clothing that's 2 years old and still looking so good, what with all the new mesh stuff and all. Evie managed to make a gown in 2010 that you don't look at and immediately think it's old. I remembered making a blog post at the time, so if you want to see more pictures, they're here.

There's a store-wide hunt going on right now at DeeTaleZ where you are looking for flowers (orange/yellow for girls; blue for guys). There's so many free goodies here for the scooping; in particular, these free black women's jeans with white stitching were so nicely textured that I just had to build a look around them.
How cute is this free black + yellow sporty jacket by Wave? Check out the lovely back shadowing on the yellow stripe too.
The fingerless white gloves also come from the Wave outlet, where an entire wall of goodies awaits for free or $1L. There are so many cute things here (these are just 2 of 'em). Upon entering the store, look for the "Go To Outlet" sign on the left wall; click to reach the higher outlet level (the wall of freebies is labeled as such). -- Srsly this place is like, manna from heaven for any frugalistas. The hair, eyes, scarf + poses shown here are all free or $1L as well.
