2016 has not been a good year, to say the least.
Unfortunately for me, it started last year when I lost my dad two months, to the
day, before his 69th birthday. David’s music was helping me through
that loss. Like so many others, his music had been the soundtrack of my life.
Then we lost him five months later. The two men who inspired me the most were
gone and 2016 continued like a snowball rolling down a very steep hill.
Now the talented and creative people that inhabit this
Second Life of ours have filled two current events with inspiration, hope and
love.
InspirationSL’s David Bowie themed event is in the second
week of its three week run. I picked up these exclusive Blue Jean eyes from
Mesange at 50L per color and there are 15 to choose from.
The Ziggy face tattoo is a gift from Avanti on the
marketplace and Plastik has this special Support Orlando version of the
Dyrsus Tie available for free at the Fantasy Collective.
The Pulse Fundraiser event opened yesterday. The items range
from 50-100% donation to Equality Florida to help support the families affected
by the tragedy in Orlando. There is also an auction board with some amazing
offers to bid on. My nails are Alaska Metro’s contribution with appliers
included for Slink, Maitreya and Omega and several color options including 3
for mixed nails.
My shimmering Pulse t-shirt is one of nine choices from
