The Wash Cart Sale - 005

This isn't my usual skin tone, but I thought it looked cute, so I went with it for today.

I did some of the Fantasy Cream Hunt, like I said I would yesterday, so I am sharing a few items from that today.

A nifty thing about Fantasy Cream is that they have voting every event, you as a customer get to pick your favorite exclusive item. You have a chance to win some prizes by voting, and the winning designer gets a reward for their store. No cost to enter, so worth it to go check that out.

Some of the hunt items fit right in with today's picks from The Wash Cart Sale. This dress is called Cutie Pie, and there are different flower variations to collect.

You can't really see my nails all that well, I am a huge fan of 3/4 body shots when blogging, so I took a snap of the nail applier. You can find these at the cart sale too, and they really go well with the flower dresses.

I have been a bad girl, and got totally distracted with so many lovelies, while I was trying on things to go with this hair, the hair ended up being the only cheapie for this post! 

What I can tell you is the Dress is from the Fantasy Cream Event, and is 50% off for the duration of the event. Also, every designer has a hunt gift and there are normally 18 to 25 designers. It makes it a very short little hunt. I will be doing it myself probably tomorrow, so might have some goodies to show you in the coming week.

The Wash - Part 5

I have been enjoying my new "House" from Exposeur, and can't seem to take enough photos in it right now. It is actually a prop of just rooms all lined in a row and open faced, but when you don't have a home in SL, it is a wonderful thing. It comes with a bunch of poses in it too, so you can pose with the walls and entrances. Totally not free, but I thought I'd share, since I have been playing around with it so much.

Sn@tch is going to be changing their lucky boards really soon, I mean REALLY REALLY soon. So if you want anything from the 8 different boards that are currently up, you best be going now. The boards cycle fast, I normally get all 8 items in a 24 hour window, when I am fishing or just checking. Mostly because there is always people fishing and clicking them, but also because there is lots of  "?" that pop up.

The Starbound Jewelry went right in theme with my new dress from Emerald Couture. They are in this round of The Wash Cart Sale, and this dress by far has been my favorite item.

The Wash - Part 1

The Wash has been doing cart sales for years now, and today marked the opening of the Spring Sale. Along each roadway on the sim, you will find boards chalk full of deals. Almost everything is L$10 or below, with each designer getting the opportunity to put out one item at L$50. There are always lots of footwear options here, so if you need some new kicks, this is the place to be.

Apocalyptic Ballerina

I can't really say exactly how this outfit happened. It started with a dress, and ended with ballerina poses from Frozen. I usually have a clear vision, based off of an item I find, and what other things i have had sitting, waiting to go up on the blog. This one evolved in a flurry, leaving me more than a bit dazed and even a little amazed, by the styling I created.

Silken Moon has some different sorts of skins. This one I am assuming is inspired by the TV Show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". It is at Skin Fair currently, and is only L$200. I think it makes me look more like a mutant, than a vampire. Love the nose ridges.

Also at the Skin Fair, and previously blogged by me, are these vinyl gloss lips from #adored. I have been having lots of fun with them. I spruced them up with this face paint from no.7, currently at this round of Level Up. This is a gacha prize, and there are a bunch of other game inspired gachas here as well.

I randomly found this dress at a Japanese mall. I did happen to remember to save a land mark this time around, haha. While it might not be mesh, and normally I don't do white, I really liked the felxi textures on this. I like things that are tutu-like, and this was close enough for me.

The designers on the Asylum Sim were also shopping at Level Up. They picked up the new spiders from Silent Sparrow, which allow you to put prizes in them, and have people stomp on them. I bought them as well.  

So tp on to the sim, look for the spiders, they are about twice the size of your avatar's head. Then you just walk over them repeatedly. I went around the sim in a circle and got a bunch of things.

Darkness Encroaches

Just did this up quick, as there is something sort of limited going on in SL right now, and I know some of you might benefit from it. Mayfly just updated their Luminous Eye Series. They have converted it over to a mesh system, and the eyes now have a hud. This means the packs are much smaller, and there is more customization per eye, making for a more unique experience.

There is a Free tester, as well as a limited time group gift to pick up. That isn't the best part though. For a limited time, you can update any of your luminous eyes, you might have purchased, for free. Beside the main shop is the update stations. You simply stand on the green X, rez our one of your Luminous eyes on the round platform, wait for the local text to prompt you, then click the platform.

It took me less than 5 minutes to update all my eyes.

Also, because it wouldn't be a post, without some Skin Fair items, Elymode has some of their Makeup packs on for a discounted price, in their event booth. This discount is only available for the duration of Skin Fair, which ends on March 29th. I paired the Starshine Eyeshadow with the Vinyl Gloss from #adored, which is a Skin Fair Exclusive. I also threw on an eyebrow tat from Mua, which is a Skin Fair booth gift.

Wings and Flying Things

Taking a break from the Hunt of Hunts Hunt today, and bring you a few other cute things to pick up.

Continuing on with Skin Fair, it is really easy to get to the sim now, not nearly as packed. If you haven't made it yet, I am going to show you why it is worth your while!

Ab.Fab has this great skin I am wearing, for only L$99. The eyebrows are really like that, starting at a dark brown, and gradating into a berry colour. I hope they do more of this series, with other colours.

My eyes and nose ring are both Skin Fair booth gifts, and there are a few others from various designers on either of the sims.

I do own a shape, which I typically wear when not blogging. I do use all sorts of shapes when blogging for you all. I don't have a set "Me" other than the fact that I am darker toned 75% of the time. I try to find you guys the nicest free/cheep shapes I can. There are a lot out there. I hope you enjoy this one.

Mono Splash

Sometimes you never know what will inspire an outfit. Today it was these metallic eyes I found at some random Asian Mini-mall. I have since lost the landmark to said mall, but luckily the eyes were still out at Frozen Night.

These eyes are called Raptor, and they do have the lizard like quality to them. They are only L$10, and there are a few more eyes for the same. Sort of like a texture tester of sorts. Not in your budget? that is fine, there is a totally free set of eyes at the front counter, which are blue. There are a few other things there as well, for free.

I was wearing these free Nail Appliers from Glaze, and noticed how well they worked with the new lips from no.7, for Level Up, which opened today. I am not sure how much longer these appliers will be available for, so please hurry on up to the store.

A theme sort of started, once I picked up the new Group Gift from Azul. I decided I had to find some jewelry to go with the emerging look, and found that the Twisted Hunt gift from Cyrious worked out really well, had the retro feel to it. The pendant is animated, the little face sort of looks like it is either talking or screaming at you.

Not free, but I wouldn't be a good little blogger if I didn't continue to talk about Skin Fair 2015. To complete my Monochrome look, I have the new skin, Leviosa, from PixyStix. I also have the Exotic Eyeliner Eagle from no.7, which I put their normal fine liner on over top, to bring in some more red. I had planned on putting on some free hair, but what I had on from my previous outfit just worked out too well. This style is Ragnarok, from Adoness. The hairbase it by Adoness as well, and has a really wicked tattoo on it, even if you can't see it at all, haha.

Well that was more talking than I normally do on here. Time for the goods!

Going Green

I thought it appropriate to throw a little green at you today, of all days.

For those of you who love all the mesh body parts, and their appliers, Soul has launched a new line of mesh mouths, called Kissers, at Skin Fair 2015. I am wearing the Cupid's Pout in Orc. There are also  closed, open, smile, neko and vampire versions. The mouths come with a shape, so you can wear it right out of the box, but there is also a tutorial, to help you get the best fit for your new mouth.

The skin I am wearing is also from Soul, and is part of the Davina fantasy line, which are exclusive at the fair.

Since I was already so green, I'm wearing black instead. I actually had a hard time finding quality green gifts today. I might have had an off day, for freebie finding. I do have to admit to being a little disappointed.

Skin Fair Finds

I've been trying to do this post for days and finally finished some photos.  Modavia Productions is hosting the 3rd Skin Fair at Vanity Universe through March 6 and it's a great opportunity to check out new releases from many skin designers as well as pick up some nice gifts.  I can't begin to show all of the gifts here but I will show you a few of my favorites.  Right now it's fairly challenging to get onto the sim but there is still plenty of time.

The best thing I heard today is that Happy Finds is reopened.  Free*Style has blogged them in the past and I TP'ed there as soon as I got word.  Right now the group is free to join (don't expect that to last) and there are gifts in the notices as well as in the store along with a few great discounts.

I'm totally in love with the eye makeup included in (R E D) M I N T's gift.  The deep, deep blue show is topped with light shimmers and will be one I go back to again and again.

The gift from Your Skin & Your Shape is a fantastic skin that includes various hair base and cleavage layers. It's a nice, fresh face that should work well with makeup layers. I was sooo lucky to win the new hair in the Lucky Chair at Love Soul so I had to brag about it.  There are many new prizes in their 2 lucky chairs.
