Hello F*S! OMG I love SL and MESH and rainbow!

I have discovered this store called Dirtyland and it's beautiful and cool and here is a free sculpted micro-miniskirt! It is supposed to be free for 3 days only but I have been logging in at the store for the past two days and it's still there, so possibly you should hurry. Check out the back of it, it's mad detailed! I also got these rainbow hair extensions for just 50L and they are so pretty. I had to attach two of them and it took ages to get them positioned right but after I'm done they look perfectly natural with my AO and most poses, so I doubt I'm ever taking them off.

I went and bought new makeup! Aztec eyeliner by Adore and Abhor is on sale for just 50L at the motif* event and I think the look is super exotic. Comes in fatpack of colors and I love it with all my skins. My lipstick is from MOCK cosmetics and MOCK has a ton of wearable demos and gifts! But I paid for my lipstick because I felt bad since I took so many free things haha. I love the color I bought. This Luxe Creme Lipstick in "fhqwhgads" is 60L and comes in several versions so that it fits most lips. And I'm wearing my daily Verna eyelashes from the Cheap Makeup gatcha because it makes me look like a Japanese doll.

Not free stuff include this perfect gold locket from Maxi Gossamer, her items are very worth it because they come with a ton of options. (Group gift heart earrings in the Maxi Gossamer group!) And the prettiest Grindhouse corset from Sn@tch. Also my beloved GoS boots in pewter which I want in real life! And omg my first mesh hair, from Lamb, in the Mad Pack. I LOVE MESH AND F*S! Happiness is wearing all of my new and old favorite things.

Someone in the Petites group chat wanted some help searching for a promo item earlier this week, and I thought, hey why not, I like free stuff!

Finding the item ended up inspiring the whole outfit you see today. I decided right then and there I just needed a mini mermaid for my petite avi. So thanks to Ketu, the designer of Shimmer, for putting this item on offer. It's expensive starting up a totally new avatar, and every little promotional item helps!

or maybe I'm not so sure that Fallacy can cook.  OK, today is Cinco de Mayo, which most of us Yanks think of as a Mexican holiday really is not celebrated in most areas of Mexico but more of a huge marketing event for alcohol distributors and chain restaurants like On the Border.  If you have to do it in RL, go find a local Mexican restaurant and eat something yummy there.  My opinionated nerdishness aside, my dear friend, Fallacy DeCuir of FDD Decor is reopening her store on a new sim.  She is hosting a Cinco de Mayo themed partay at her new store at 2 - 4 PM SLT today.  Fallacy can throw a great party and there will be music dancing and gifts!   Friend Andel Rhiadra from A.D.D. Andel and Vershel Ladyl from Vershe have also thrown in some prezzies and Fallacy has lowered the cap on her new Midnight Mania and the time on the Lucky Chairs, so you might get lucky if you stick around.  The new island is gorgeously decorated and worth exploring.

The adorable bench is one of the gifts from FDD Decor.  It has many animations including the one above where I look like the dork that I am.  The nachos with nuclear cheese give out a basket and a single chip.  The teeny tiny taco and marguerita are also from FDD and I know lots of foodie collectors her in SL that just might want to get those.

If you are simply stumped on what to wear to such a party, Deco has some amazing new mesh items that are fun and so realistic.  These aren't freebies but top quality and so worth it.  I'm showing here the serape, or poncho, that comes in both male and female version and includes a larger size, the mucho ossum sombrero and maracas that you can make work by tapping your mouse or you can shoot them through a mouselook.  Who knew musical instruments had such lethal potential, even more than plurk. The "crocs", skirt and skin I am wearing are donation items at Culture Shock which started yesterday and runs through the 26th.  I hope to show some of the gifts I found there but the event is primarily a fabulous shopping event that benefits Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).  It is jammed packed right now so you might want to wait a few days. It is worthy to note that if you are wearing more than 50 scripts on your avatar you will be unable to pass the landing point. This includes any huds, AOs, resizers, texture changers, etc that are on so many of our items.  Leave them at home; most people will have you derendered anyways.  I know I'm always so bummed, too, when I have to accept all over again that I am not the centre of the universe.  Anyway, party on!  Tell Fallacy that Eden sent you!

When I got wind that our wonderful FreeStyle sponser, Ghanima of BlueBlood Fame, had made a offer for petites, I ran on down to pick it up before I forgot. I tend to do that a lot when I'm in design mode, so it was a good thing. I bumped into my buddy Mina while there( she is the most awesome lil petite ever) and then Ghanima came to hang with us a wee bit.

Petites of the SL world, a little birdy told me that Ghanima has plans to take each one of her designs, make it soaking wet, throw it in the dryer for ten hours, and then bring out the massively shrunken goods. Rejoice! or go Emo, whatever you decide is fine by me!

Curious Kitties made this awesome dress for the hunt. You obviously can't see it here, but the mesh of the dress is scripted to colour change, it also is animated, so the circles get all trippy on you. Since the dress has a built in skin piece in the chest area, you get a whole set of skins, and have a skin matching hud to change the skin texture on the dress. Any of the Curious Kitties skins of the same line will work with this dress.
