Free Summer.

Wassup y'all. It's been a minute, eh? Just dropping in to show you a nearly-free look (everything except the Ikon eyes + the $30L gatcha necklace; more on that below), styled with some recent free cuties yours for the taking, courtesy of recent hunts (fair warning: some are ending very soon!) + 1 of SL's most iconic events, Hair Fair 2013 (hopefully y'all have been catching our own Eden Knoller's excellent coverage of it here on Free*Style). 
If you've been reading Eden's posts, you'll already know that the driving point behind Hair Fair 2013 is to actually spend your $L to assist the well-worthy charity this event is helping, Wigs for Kids (i.e., freebies aren't really the point). That being said, some designers have generously donated some notably nice things for the event, some of which were used to style my casual look today: a free 2-tone hair gift by Due, some free texture-change chandelier earrings + a free slouchy tank by AUX; I styled this all matchy-matchy with a  free owl shoulder bag that you can grab at a lucky boards tote bags bonanza, offering a total of 5 free bags in all. (Btw the Clawtooth Hair Fair 2013 dollarbie here is also very much worth grabbing, easily 1 of the cutest gifts at the event; buy the little brown paper bag on the dresser for $1L).

A word about this skin: if you don't already know the Essences store, skinner Inka Mexicola's skins are on my personal go-to list for her knowing, intelligentsia faces that exude a certain je ne sais quoi. This extremely pretty skin I'm wearing here is yours for free if you simply click the Essences subscribo (note the heavy eyeliner-pen makeup)! I paired this look with some free mesh lashes, a free ghettofab "Gamer" necklace, some free pink lemonade (I grabbed mine at Food Fair 2013, which kicks off today) + a supercasual free summery flip-flops standing pose prop. -- I'm also obsessed with this anime dollfaced cell phone lariat necklace that I scoopied for $30L at The Chapter Four (NOTE: the July round ends today; don't miss the exquisitely modern, wood & glass "Rare" gatcha home by Ionic for a crazy $85L price).

Ducks & Cows Beware!

My new cow friends, Bessie + Mathilda, wanted me to take some in-world shots of their idyllic farmland home. This worked out just fine for my cozy fall look today, which included this free dress, free moccasin boots, a new $30L color-change beanie by Glow Studio + some free gun pose props by Don't Freak Out.
Say what you will about guns, but this badass stance put me in the mood to shoot something. *spies Gavin waddling around in a duck avi; takes careful aim*
Here's another close-up so you can see these suuuperthick lashes by Glow Studio at The Dressing Room that I just can't seem to take off, tinged with 2 different colors for a nicely dramatic addition to a frex face. I'm also wearing a nice free lariat necklace that I found at Purple Moon (both the beads + metal are texture-change, so they go with just about everything).
Time for this huntress to find something more fashion-friendly than guns. New purse huntress love + fashionista kisses to all!
