Tootsie Tuesdays - Duh!

This week on Tootsie Tuesdays, I am wearing rainboots. Why? because it has been raining like mad for the past few days, and I have 2 lakes out in the yard. 

 

These Rainboots are Original Mesh from Duh! They are Wearable Texture Testers or Wearable Demos, whichever you prefer. Basically a fully functional shoe, that is offered as a demo. Duh! does this with almost all their footwear lines.

Now, while there is an inworld shop, I purposefully am redirecting you all to SL Marketplace today. I feel this store needs some reviews, and I wanted you all to help me with that today. Far to often we get something, even just a demo, and never write a review.

I need these IRL

I came across the store Duh! in March of 2009. I was out and about, finding shoes for my sister, and low and behold, here was an awesomely named store, with great prices, and who actually offered lots of colours!

If you want to take a trip down nostalgia lane, I dug up the post. I forgot how funny I use to get on here. So go ahead, click it, laugh at my retro blog pics, shake your head at my humour. I know I did, haha.

Renee has been working in Blender, and making her own mesh now. These cute little boots are one of the results.

She was also a treasure, and offers them in purple, with there being the dreaded PANK! also in the package.

You can grab these for free at her shop. While there, be sure to click the subscriber, you will get another gift, check out the lucky boards, you letter might be up, and take a walk around. One of the greatest things about the label, is they offer wearable colour demos. Wearable meaning there are no logos, no words, no yucky bits on them. Just a totally wearable copy, in a unique colour, for you to enjoy.

Autumn Air

Autumn is here, so it is time to get your sweaters out, and go for some nice long night walks and enjoy the changing of the leaves.

There are a few time sensitive gifts which I thought would get you started. The Annex has this sweater as a group gift, and the group is currently free to join, but only for a limited time! Also for a limited time, Modish has all their previous gift out. The group does have a join fee, but it is super small, mostly to deter spammers. 

If you want even more goodies, Plastik has 2 boxes for gifts every month, one is free and has appliers included, the other is L$10. Each have various items; pants, shirts, dresses and sometimes other things, like shoes or jewelry. Each month is different, with different colour themes. The Boxes themselves actually give you a clue to possible colours for the items. The September boxes are still out, but not for long, so if you missed them, nab them today!
