Humpday Hunting - The Ghost Town

Mad Peas, in conjunction with Firestorm, have brought this unique game to the grid. you can find out how to play at the Official Instructions HERE. My only added tip would be that if you accept the "Experience" and you do not visually see a hud on your screen, since the hud does not arrive to you as an object, you will have to relog and try to grab the hud again. This is what I had to do, and didn't figure it out at first, haha.

The Basis is this, you go to the Ghost Town, grab your hud, read the story, then go start finding the ghosts. Follow the instructions on how to further your gameplay from the instructions link above. Once you find all the ghosts and have completed the storyline, you will be rewarded with generous gifts from a number of designers. You can see some of the gifts HERE.

Now I saw no end date, but these things normally don't last very long. I would thing you have until the end of the month, at the very least. A friend and I managed to do this in an afternoon, and that was with interruptions.

how are you doing? Myself is pretty busy in rl, working on final project and packing to go home; didnt really have time to get on SL as often as before.

Actually, the reason for me to send this notecard out is because i have decided to close GHOST!, the last day would be this weekend on sunday.

Mainstore at Fragment ( the new sim of Aria's requiem) and the group will be closed!!!

It's not a gimmick or anything, just the fact that i think its about time to close it. GHOST! has always been a fun, hobby-project for myself on here since i super duper lub pretty CLOTHES<3 and ghost stories in general. However, after thinking about this for awhile, it comes to a conclusion that i just simply dont like the way where GHOST! is going, and for myself...my way of working on projects would be to drop those that i dont want to continue and not regret, since this is sl, so i wont have other consequences to go thru and blahh -3- *cough cough* tutors wont go mad; other than that, rl always comes first for me. but anywho..... I might start something new after summer holiday (cant wait to go yumcha <3) if my time allows me, but probably wont be just a typical clothes store, dont want to bore myself to death really -O- So, its the happy ending day for GHOST! this weekend!!! Thank you so much for supporting my store and me in general <3 HAVE A GOOD ONE!! AND LUB LUB LUB YOU ALL SO MUCH!! HAHAHAH! LUB LUB! Tri :D

Computer Dead - I'm a Ghost - Welcome 2016!!!

Hey Guys, it has been a while.

So I went out over the holidays, and while I was out, the baby decided that dropping my computer off my work table would be a fun thing.

I have been dealing with the loss of it, and the new rig, for the last little while. Seems Windows 10 HATES second life and Firestorm. Official Viewer doesn't even support it. Hasn't it been out for like ever? Made me sort of glad I stuck to Windows 8, even with my general dislike of it.

I haven't recovered my data yet, and as of now, I do not have photoshop or any of my other programs on my new rig. It will take me a bit to transition back into my normal schedual, as I now have to catch up on work related things.

I wanted to let you know, I had lovely posts, and lovely welcome to the new years pics, just for all of you! I wore a gown and everything!

I do hope you all had an enjoyable holiday, and hope you will forge forth with the Free*Style team, into 2016.

I guess my 2015 went out with a BANG! then a pop and a fizzle, haha. Hopefully this doesn't mark me for bad luck for the new year.

Triangle Caudron at GHOST has made the most beautiful dress to celebrate Chinese New Year, words can't describe how I felt about this when I put it on. For a start it's in my favourite colour but wait till you see how it moves and the lush textures, it's giving me palpitations. I get so excited when Tri creates something new, her clothes are something special.

If I could wear this dress to pick my kids up from school - I would !!!

'Til Death Do You Part

Since I celebrated my 24th wedding anniversary on Monday, it was fitting that the trick or treat prize at Panic of Pumpkin was this beautiful Bride of Ghost dress and veil from Mofu+mofu.

Triangle Caudron is a name to watch in SL, she is a budding designer and from what I have seen so far, the clothes she has created are absolutely beautiful.

I feel very lucky because she sent her first creations, this stunning 'Dirty Snow' dress and 'Prisoner tights' with leggings to the Free*Style group for our opinion. As soon as I wore it my eyes went *PING*!! I love Triangles' quirky style and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

I flew around (because walking was just lame), pondered how I would look in my new blingy shoes and spent hours and hours and hours buying tonnes of free crap from those Freebie Islands.

When I look back, I wish I had known about blogs like Free*Style. I was so excited when I was told about the blog by our very own Ashia, a pretty avie I met at the Last Call Closing Down Sale, where she suggested several pieces that I still wear today.

But back to being a newbie. Forget those hideous blings dresses and over sized prims and logos and all that stuff. I have a new location to send your friends, alts, friends of alts, newbie friends of alts, dogs or alt, brothers best friend of alts.

*grin* I'm in UR freestyle, wearing stuff that's 1L or free. Hello! This is my first post to the SL Free*Style blog, and god knows why they let me in here. *RUNS RAMPANT WITH SPRAYPAINT* ... er I mean ... I feel honored! Hi!

I went to Caledon today to hang out in a big pretty frock for a while and discovered that there were some new-to-me freebies on the nice freebie trolleys in Caledon Victoria City (SLURL here). My boy-self said, "O hey, I could totally look like some steampunk inventor in these!" And indeed he does, all decked out in a free monacle and waistcoat, on his steam-powered chair. His skin and shape (which is quite nice) are also free, from two little shops in the sim Uemachi (SLURL here). Go to one store to pick up the skin, then across the street for the shape.

My freebie-hunting girl avatar (named Inner Snoodle, in case you were wondering) is all spoiled by Poe Tatum's Skanks R Us (SLURL here) gifts and store dollarbies. She's wearing a dollarbie skull hairpin (which I love, two razors and a little skull), and awesome group gift leggings that Poe gave out earlier today (there are like five or six in the pack). There are also several nicely-made little skull fabric skirt dollarbies in Poe's shop, in a stack beneath the dollarbie hairpin. The shirt is the only part of the outfit that isn't free (or nearly free), and it's a cute 60L bargain at Skanks R Us. Pick up the leggings by touching the store subscribe-o-matic, and the other stuff from the back left corner of the shop.

I saw a floral fitted shirt there, which totally reminded me of my middle aged manager at work, somehow he thinks its fashion to wear these to meetings and after clubs...hmm....I don't think so!
