Travelling the Silk Road

Its coming to the end of the month and I have been a bit too busy to do any hunts in full. I have only a couple of things to show you from The Silk Road Vll hunt  which ends on the 30th June  Still plenty of  time to do it.

This dress is from Sparrow by Design and is called Chabi Court Dress. The prize is the mesh dress in 5 standard sizes but I am wearing my usual body (details on my blog)

These extremely well detailed shoes are from  MaxTextures Designs (MTD) are also on the hunt. They come in fittings for Slink male and female also classic avatar male and female. On a side note if you are a designer  doing a hunt for fun you can purchase the full perm version of these and make your own styles.

Unicorn Flu

 I am a lover of colour, I wont lie. I am normally some sort of crayon colour, any given day of the week. However, I do love to wear stark white skins, from time to time. You can play them up so much, on such a clean palette. Stix has released their newly updated Solii Skins, which is what I chose to play with today.

I am always looking for lipsticks to go with my Soul Kissers mesh mouths, and NOX never disappoints. This runny nose rainbow goo is from NOX, and is a generous donation to the group gifts at the Cosmetics Fair. This round is rainbow themed, and you will find other awesome gifts, some of which I am wearing.

I was talking about the game boards at La Boheme the other day, and I happened to win off one. They are a simple flip game, you just have to pick the right tile, to match with the item shown. The you win the prize. A set of 10 Eyeshadow/Liner combos is what I won, and am wearing here.

Chop Shop participated in a personal challenge, based off of colour palettes. If you go to the current round of Thrift Shop, you can have your chance to pick up some unique eyes, created during this challenge. Each eye in the series is only L$50, half price for the duration of the event.

Vampire Illusionati

Twisted Hunt will be wrapping up fairly soon, it ends on the 19th of October. The great thing about this hunt is there are many male items in the hunt. Once upon a time, it was mandatory for all stores to have a female and male item or a unisex item. It isn't like that anymore, but it seems that there is still many of the original designers still doing the hunt, so old habits die hard eh?

The Dandelion Daydreams Factory Sim is cooking up a spooky storyline hunt, which I snuck into part of the build to take these snaps. Keep a watch out on the Medieval & Fantasy Grid Crier Site for more information. If you want to just take snaps somewhere spooky like me, when you tp onto the sim, behind Lilith's Den is two houses that can work great for scenic shots.

While you are rocking out your free finds, hop on over to the Allhallows Showcase Festival, they have a little hunt going on until the end of the month, and participating designers have seasonal items with reduced prices. This top hat is from Chimeric Fashions, who is at the event, and has a wonderful mask in the hunt.

Soul released just last month some new Kisser(mesh mouth) options for us males, this one being the Vampire option. I figured I'd let you all know about it, since this is the season for those sorts of things, haha.

Fly Away

Stix, formerly known as PixyStix, has a new group gift for September out right now. It has this pink colour, as well as a cream tone, included. It is worth picking up, there are new included options, such as mesh heads(not show in this post) and an eyelash attachment. Stix always has lots of appliers too, so if you have any sort of mesh bits and bobs, these skins will work for you.

I'm wearing the new Soul Kisser Lips, just released at We Love Roleplay, which are updated with the Omega System relay right in the lips. If you have some of the previous lips, and didn't get your updates, please head on to the store for redelivery. Slink has also recently updated to using the Omega System, so you might want to go click the redelivery there too.

SongBird recently moved to a new location, and are gearing up for the upcoming Twisted Hunt, starting on Sept. 19th. Jinx is a new fantasy store, which just officially opened on the 1st of September. They have a huge instore hunt going on, which you can find 10 tribal facial makeups, a set of horns, some medieval styles arm sleeves and a pipe. Yup, a pipe, to smoke, you know?

 I am not wearing a single stitch of it, thought I did originally mean to. I got sucked in by the horn gacha, which is half off for the opening. The horns I am wearing are a common prize, and are what inspired my whole look today.

While you are searching around Jinx for the frogs, owls and cat(they are the hunt objects) be sure to join the group, there is a super cute animated typer, so when you type in local chat, it looks like you are scrying with magic.

Impish Imposter

  Well, for starters I'm a new addition to Free*Style. I was pretty excited when Sileny asked me to be apart of something that I've always read. I've been a fan of Free*Style since I can remember so it's my turn to contribute.

I'm not very great with making posts interesting. I feel as if I'm just rambling. So I'll keep this short and just get on to the looks basically.  Origami started earlier this month, but the hunt itself did not start until the 10th.  In order to get the hunt items you have to play the horror game from Japanese mythology of Yamata no Orochi. While doing the hunt you are looking for Koban; japanese gold coin, hidden all over the sim. The Koban exchanges for the prizes. There's several different designers there, but these were among my favorite ones. Enjoy the horror story and the prizes are the bonus.

Huntress

There are some awesome group gifts out and about at the moment. The hair I am wearing is from Tableau Vivant, you can find it right on the desk as you walk in the door and it comes with a bulk lot of HUDS with a wide variety of colours.

My jewellery and shoes are from Pure Poison. They actually have two tables FULL of group gifts you can pick up right at the landing zone.  My jumpsuit is a new group gift from Ricielli and comes with standard sizes or fit mesh.

Going Green

I thought it appropriate to throw a little green at you today, of all days.

For those of you who love all the mesh body parts, and their appliers, Soul has launched a new line of mesh mouths, called Kissers, at Skin Fair 2015. I am wearing the Cupid's Pout in Orc. There are also  closed, open, smile, neko and vampire versions. The mouths come with a shape, so you can wear it right out of the box, but there is also a tutorial, to help you get the best fit for your new mouth.

The skin I am wearing is also from Soul, and is part of the Davina fantasy line, which are exclusive at the fair.

Since I was already so green, I'm wearing black instead. I actually had a hard time finding quality green gifts today. I might have had an off day, for freebie finding. I do have to admit to being a little disappointed.
