Tutorial - Gacha Minion - Part 2 - Search & Lists

Today will be continuing from where I left off with the previous Tutorial - Gacha Minion - Part 1 - How to get Started.

BIG NOTICE

Until April 10th, Gacha Minion has pro accounts available for free, all you need to do is go to the Kiosk and Click the Pro Account Button. Then proceed through the process.

I am placing a cut here, for the feeds that pick up from the Free*Style Blog, as tutorials always get a bit picture happy.

To start today, we are going to click the Search option, on the left side of your dashboard.


Here you can see several options to start your search. There is a drop down menu, for all the events currently uploaded in the gacha Minion System. This is a quick way to search for an item, if you knew the event, but maybe not the designer.

Once you select something, as you can see here, it whittles down the result. I chose the "Fit for a Princess" event, and it got it down to 219 results. Now I want to search for a colour.


 As you can see, now the results are much lower. Now this was done just on a general search, what that means is both Traders and Sellers results will pop up when searching for things.

One you find something you want, click the item, and you will get more information.

With the example above, you can see that only one person is currently trading this item. If you would like the item, all you have to do is contact the seller. If you click into their profile, you can see all the various ways to contact them for quickest trading results.


Here is an example of what a Sellers Item posting would look like. The purchase price is to the right, and if you click it, it will bring up a link to a sim. This will be wherever they have set up their various sellers boxes. It could be their own land, a yardsale booth, or at one of the provided Gacha Minion sites(Pro Members perk only).


Once at the location, you are looking for little boxes with the Gacha Minion logo. Each box will have the name of the item in hover text. You just find the one you were looking for then buy.

Next part we are going to get into is lists.


When you are searching for items, every item listing has a link to Member's various lists.


When you click in, it'll let you know what they are Selling/Trading/Wanting from that event.

Here is an example of some Trade/Want lists.


Then you just click into the list you want to view.


I think that is it for today. Next Tutorial I will get into how to set up your list-o-matic and sellers boxes, unless someone requests something to be explained a bit more.
