FIVE Laqroki skins with hair, eyes, and a dress with shoes...it's heaven! You can find the free skins in the "new" section of the skins and the dress in the "freebie" section of the clothes! Each of these pictures shows a free skin...mmm.

The Hunger freebie at Sn@tch has been removed. There's a sign there that says - "This freebie has changed because of CHEATERS"

Are the Laqroki skins still free? I've looked at all the displays with "new" around them and none are free... what am I doing wrong?
I found them earlier in the corner where the new skins are. There is a sign in the far right corner that says free across it. :D
Also, the dress from The Hunger is now longer free. There's a sign on it that says its been changed because of cheaters. :\
The freebie is between the shapes and lashes waaayyyyyy at the far end
The Laqroki SKINS freebie is at one end of the Renaissance Skins on the first floor. If you are facing the Vendors - they will be at the end on your right.

This post is probably what caused her to cancel the freebie...she conciders blogs like this showing pictures of the free item and telling the area of the store where it can be found (downstairs) to be cheating.
Why give away a freebie then at all if peeps can't go pick it up? Ah well...
So there's the sign that has the old freebie Laqroki skin, but the post says there's five skins free? Am I missing the other four somewhere or are they all in a package with that one freebie sign?
Ohhh, never mind- it's the same freebie that's been out for awhile now- there are 5 versions of the same skin in that package, that must be what she meant.
Ok.. the "new" laqroki's 5 freebie skins are the same thats been out since almost 2 months ago.. so people dont waste your time like i did looking for new free skins, the same for the clothes...
Please make us a favor, dont blog old freebies if you wont tell that they have being placed the past century.. thank you!!!
When ivey sent the notecard to the subcribo with the free item mentioned she mentioned a hint as to where it was positioned..so this blog will not have caused it to be taken down !
Ok...wow. Um...guess that's what I get for making time for a blog post to have some fun after being beaten to death in law school. I believe I said, "Again, I'll give the disclosure that these might be not be new..." Sorry for any confusion, but jeez. That's a little harsh.

Urgh anon, it's attitudes like yours that make designers not want to give away freebies, and makes bloggers like us think wts is the point. Adi does this for fun, not critique, so go troll some other blog kthnxbai.
I wanna say Thanks! I never tried Laqroki skins before, didnt shop for skins, (too expensive to me) but I got the free pack because I saw it mentioned here....and I LOVE them..and it's done just what a freebie is supposed to do...make you fall in love with the product..I'm going back to buy skins when I can, from Laqroki, because they are awesome! Thanks for letting me know about them!

Ivey gives out shit loads of free clothes all of the time. So you didn't get one of the outfits this week. Oh whoops, there will probably be others in a couple days or so. Not to mention the lucky chairs, mob vends, and ect. Ivey is way too nice. She could be putting all her free outfits in her group and charging 350L to join. It's not worth being pissed about considering just how many free sn@tch outfits you probably already have.
Oh my gosh. The gall of people to complain about freebies on a freebie blog they (obviously) stalk! I wish these blingtards would find another hobby instead of freebie-hunting, preferably involving a busy road.

Yesterday when i was looking for the skins at Laqroki there were at least 12 avatars or maybe more, some of them shouting where were the new freebie skins they saw at Adaire's post; beause we didnt realized those were the same old freebies, we stayed looking around for almost an hour, then after ask and investigate with other persons, we finally realized what happened.
Then we just headed to Snatch to look the nice black dress...another minutes to the water because the dress wasnt there anymore...............
So..Adaire come on!! i know u do it for fun but if u want to do it, do it well, Tell Creamy or other in this blog who makes a wonderful work; they can teach you!!!!!
So Anonymous, where is the link to *your* own blog where you can show us how it's done right?
This blog is the most useful thing out there for getting quality freebies on SL. If you don't like how it's done, show us how *you* can do it better before complaining about how someone else should have done it.
I thought the post was very useful. I didn't have the skins before and now I do, and they're gorgeous. :-D

so what i'm gleaning from this is that some people have their panties in a bunch because they didn't recognize skins they already had? really? sounds like your problem, not adaire's.
After reading some of the hideous comments, I am just seething. I agree that the heifers that are bitching should go on out there and show how it's done. I bet most of the people who spend hours reviewing copies or hunting down items, putting together ensembles, taking shots and editing them, writing text and adding slurls, only to be shot down by a hateful person who doesn't even have the balls to give her name, would gladly quit and give you a shot. I hurt for Adaire (and the other FS bloggers) and Gidge right now. Anon I and Anon II (hiding not only behind their computer, but their avatar) have proven again that the pen is mightier than the sword. I hope the pleasure you garner from your cruelty was worth the pain you have caused others.
Is there a way to block out the shitty comments? That would be awesome! Seriously though, some peeps need to step away from the computer and try to obtain a life. I appreciate every thing thats posted. I personally had NO idea about the free Laqroki skins, so thanks! Also, a big FU to the negative nellies who need a removethestickfrommyasselectomy. :D
Hmmm, went by the shop, the pictured dress isn't a freebie.
Wow I didnt even see all the comments on here. I'll explain and of course the people that have half a BRAIN know that Adaire and Free*Style had nothing to do with my freebie changing. THAT being said. I had a dress free for over 24 hours and I sat in my office and watched over 20 people be TPed directly to the spot and listened to people shout out where it was and laugh about cheating....SO I changed it. I give things away cause I WANT to. I like to give, but it's also a promotional tool. I just redid my store and I'm trying to get people to explore the new areas. TPing directly in and out completely screws that up. If I wanted to (AND I do often) I would put the freebie right at the landing. So there's your explanation. It had nothing to do with this blog or any of the people in Free*Style who are fabulous by the way! It's my fault for not letting Adaire know too, but I thought the sign would suffice and I did make another Hunger dress FREE. I give something away EVERY week and I dont have to and most people are very appreciative. But when I hear someone laughing at me for being a chump, thats my limit. Kisses and much love to those of you that don't cheat and ruin things for others. There may come a day when because of the cheaters and freebie grubbers we stop giving things away altogether. Then they can go back to Freebie Wearhouse and buy a linden dress for $1L. Remember those days?

I love looking in on the freebie blogs (even if the men's items are few and far apart :p), but I do get annoyed on designers behalf when I see obvious cheating. Hunts where slurls or coordinates are posted, for instance. I mean, here they spend time and effort on making a good hunt, and then some blogs cheat or give details of how to cheat easily? Gives a bad taste to my mouth.
But let me point out this is just a general observation, and I haven't seen it being done on this blog.
Also, mentioning items that have been around for a while is very helpful for new readers of the blog (and new residents of SL). People with really bad memories should consider ginseng or something and stop whining.

Just a note to all those who are calling things "Old" Freebies. Be aware that there are newer members of the SL community BY THE SECOND. To them, this is as much a resource as it is for you. How dare people bash someone who took time out of their day to share something that was intended to make others happy! If you can build a better boat, do it!
Adaire did a great post and many hundreds of people enjoyed it.
If you have been in SL for a considerable amount of time that you feel you can call things "same old freebies" try creating your own content, or actually becoming a consumer by supporting those that offered you these generous gifts when they had no obligation to do so. Or try blogging free gifts yourself so you can see how hard it is to be the eyes and ears of the status of gifts on the grid, and how time consuming it really is.
