Dilly Dolls goes Vintage ala Shagadelic!

Between blogging Vintage Fair and trying to find time to work on the new Free*Style store I essentially have no SLife.  I had originally hoped to have the store up and running by late July but I jumped right into covering Vintage Fair literally the evening that Hair Fair ended so now I'm hoping the store can be up and running in September.  I will do an update about it when I can go into detail, but I can say we have some great designers confirmed to participate.

Vintage Fair is 3 sims of awesome.  The builds was designed by Cory Edo of Trompe Loeil and they are mesh.  Also one of the fair sponsors, she has created 72 unique storefronts for the event and they are phantom enabled so if you can't get past the mob at the door just walk on in thru the window (\o/). They are also for sale at her event store. The Fair covers "antique" (pre-20's) to the 80's and with the plethora of events going on at the moment you can actually get in!  It runs through the 29th of this month so there is lots of time to shop.  Oriana Kuhr of Dilly Dolls has made some adorable block print mesh dresses for the fair and the grey version is a gift for visitors.  It comes in  Standard Sizing and includes a HUD so that you can change color tones on both the dress and belt. Attack of the Holiday Spirit, Episode 2

Ah yes. More red and green for you my loves.I'm feeling the Christmas love. I used to be a total Grinch, but I think being a mom has made me appreciate the holidays much more. Seeing the little buddies all excited about the tree and the lights and the shiny wrapping paper just makes my heart melt. I might not look as awesome decorating the tree as my av does, and I certainly wouldn't be holding glass balls in my mouth (trying not to make dirty joke) but it's still fun anyway.
Aren't these shoes from Love Soul adorable?! I want some non-Christmas ones with like a cat-bat of doom clinging on instead of reindeer. CAT-BATS SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH.
This is my favorite tree I have seen in SL so far. Something about it is just kitschy classic. And the little tree skirt. Fabulous!

My friend Holli TPd me to a group only lucky board at Pinky Gals and I won this awesome orange outfit. It had me so happy I was doing cartwheels through the graveyard!The hood on the outfit is my fave, it is perfectly shaped to fit a multitude of head sizes and is just super hot :P OH! And there is a little pumpkin for your mouth as another group gift in the store so that is always a super bonus.If you are not as into the hood as I am, you can go get this 1L hair for a limited time at Vanity Hair and rock the pinkness! The skin I am wearing is a subscriber gift from Chai skins, one of my favorite skin stores in all of SL. Every time they release a gift I almost pee my pants a little. I SAID ALMOST OK!? Ahem. The free skins have an attached bathing suit, so no naughty bits for you, but I never have a need to get SL naked so no problem for me, haha. The free pack comes in ALL of their tones, freckled and not freckled. WIN!OH! And speaking of Vanity Hair, you can still grab their Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow gift if you are fast. The gift is my fave style of their hair ever in black, with color change detachable bows. Perfect for Halloween costumes or just for being awesome!

And back up to the shoes I am wearing. These are some of my fave of the Halloween gifties so far. They are a subscribo gift from She's So Unusual Shoes. The "Frank Flats" are like little Frankenstein's Monsters for your feet. The lightning you can see in the photo is actually a moving texture that swirls around the shoe as if it were being electrically charged. It's just awesome. Go get.
