Horrorfest 2013 - Steampunk Horrorette

Halloween might be over, but that doesn't mean Horrorfest is. It's still going strong, ending on the 8th. Many items can be used all year round, so if you haven't stopped by yet, please do so!

There is even a hunt going on, where you stop by various Horrorfest Designer Locations around the grid, and find a little goodie to take home. 

Horrorfest this year is supporting the The Epilepsy Therapy Project. Each designer has one 100% charity item, so please consider browsing these. Some even have a few with other percentages.

Along came a spider...

and made such a beautiful frame for me! Sway was kind enough to set out the above frame as a completely free gift for the Halloween season! Naturally I had to fill those picture slots and the wonderful creators of secondlife were quick to help me.

As the completely-unofficial-thought-only-by-me Queen of Halloween I popped this cute lil pumpkin crown from Rotten Defiance on (one of two group gifts just sent out) and this elegant dress from Sweet Gift on the marketplace. Ploom has put out this cutes lipstick as another free group gift and earrings from 4funeral finished it off.HelaMiyo @ Shop Free*Style is helping me work on my queenly wave; whatchya think?

Even delusional queens need to relax sometimes and this super comfy sweater dress from Tapp fit the bill perfectly.

One can only rest for so long and it's back to work though! I hit up Horrorfest with Zombie-baiting in mind and stumbled upon the Infiniti poses gacha! What zombie can resist a fresh corpse huh? Especially when said corpse is wearing such a stylish sweater from Pretty Lady! Now to settle in and wait.....

Horrorfest is here! With over 120+ designers, a Hunt, Gachas, Limited Editions, Unique Charity Items, The Grande Sepia Ball as well as other added Horrors, this is an event you don’t want to miss.

This years charity is The Epilepsy Therapy Project. We have a team page so people can track our progress in meeting our goal of at least $2,000.00.

All donations and charity proceeds will be sent to our bank alt ‘Horrorfest Resident’ whose account records will be completely transparent, and who is not used for anything at all apart from Guild of Gloom events. Approximately 1 week after Horrorfest is over, details of transactions from SL to the charity will be documented on the Horrorfest blog (This may be later, depending on cashing out times which are a bit borked right now).

Please have a read of The Epilepsy Therapy Project’s website. It’s a wonderful cause and seriously underfunded. This is our chance to give them a presence in the virtual world.

Creepy Doll - Horrorfest time!

Hello there! This is the time of year that I love most in SL, the days near Halloween, because the creepy creature in me can shop until drop, and this year in particular have some amazing events and new stores for me, and it made me all happy in my pants.

The place where I found many of them is on Horrorfest, that will open to public today, 11:59PM SLT.

This new skin from Idiosyncrasy will have you crawling out of your current skin and creeping into this one...mwa ha ha! The spiderwebs on the face go perfectly with the cheapie Black Widow hair from Clawtooth, if I may so myself! Add in the bat themed jewelry from Lolapop! and gosh darn it you've got a spooky look that will draw all those succulent fashionistos into your web.
