upon reading the store name for the first time my brain immediately conjured up a hazy slideshow of pictures from long forgotten children's books, and the uncle wiggily store doesn't disappoint. the place itself has the feel of stumbling into an old illustration turned slreal:
inside you'll find rows and rows like what's shown below of mostly 1L (some are more but still insanely inexpensive) items. one section of wall:
there are hand drawn fairytaleish trees and flowers, and a birdhouse and a windmill, and a table made of a paned window, machines that make snow and rain, and lots of foofy ladylike skirts like the ones shown below:
i had some shitty metaphor about revisiting childhood and books all lined up but it's way too early in the morning for me to be doing that. this is me being fawningly sincere and telling you to go visit. bye.
