Getting Dressed for a Party!

Oooh, I'm so excited that I had to blog...during class. Yes, I'm totally justifying not paying attention in my head (and in a blog post, apparently), but...DRESSES! Dresses are worth it! Especially FREE dresses! Le squee!

I'm one of those girly-girls who randomly pops on my fanciest Nicky Ree gown to go shopping for grunge clothes. Completely ridiculous, I know...but who doesn't like watching their avatar floating gracefully across sims with skirts trailing and hair beautifully piled up in an elegant updo?...

....and that's why I've been an enthusiastic customer of Kouse's Sanctum for as long as I can remember. Kouse Singh creates the most gorgeous gowns in a variety of styles with opulent, rich textures. And, she's incredibly generous to her update group members. For April, she's giving members the Tempest gown in "Iridescence," complete with a dainty crown, for all of 1 lindo! Just wear your group tag and visit either of her stores in Avilon or Seabreeze to get it!


It's fairy princess-tastic and the texture of the skirt is just breathtaking. But...that's not all! If you're a fan of the lucky chair and you happen to catch your letter, you can score this gorgeous dress too!



To pair with the rich blue of the gown, I went to Nomine to get this beautiful Sylvan "Morticia" skin in Ultralight for just $100L!! There's a sale on all the Sylvan skins - just $100L each! But you must be quick! It's only till Saturday! While it's not free, the sale is so good that I had to mention it.

I also have to rave about Philotic Energy's newest release. Above, I'm wearing "Stephanie" in rich chocolate, a very elegant updo with a perfect hairline (I know that sounds weird, but you have to try it to see what I mean!) and attractively loose pieces around the face and down the back. Again, not free, but if you need a hair fix like I seem to...non-stop...[twitch twitch!] check it out and her other new releases (ESPECIALLY "Fern!").



All dressed up...but nowhere to go? You can join Katat0nik for the grand opening of her GossipGirl location at 6 pm SLT TONIGHT (Thursday) for a block party-style celebration, complete with DJ Moogani GossipGirl's bodyrocking beats and....
