Twist It, Mash It

So I used my usual charm and sweet talked my way onto Free*Style (for that, read "Ashia cornered me half naked in Truth and demanded that I join") and after looking at it realised that I spend WAY too many lindens in here for me to know where the best freebies are. I mean... that's why I read this blog. Trying to write for it becomes like a snake swallowing it's own tail. Luckily for me the Twisted hunt started the other day. And I could select things here and there and attempt to show them off prettily like the girls do. But being my usual obstreperous self I decided to do the whole damn hunt, and throw together an outfit from it. So that's what you get when Winter attempts Free*Style.

Twisted Mash 1

I'm loving all over the Parade Jacket from Chaos Engine, and the hunt prize here is all 7 colours in the set. After finding the Allegory Hair and Volante Demon Horns from the Stringer Mausoleum I knew that I had to keep it all red and black - people kept clicking me in the hopes that I was one of the boxes though. Either that, or they were searching for my Xcite! parts. My other total glee moments were upon finding the Bone Ring from House of Creation, and the Pleasure is Pain armband from Absentia. I've also got the LouLou and Co Twisted Bracelet stretched out happily.

Twisted Mash 3

Setting off metal detectors I'm sporting the CyberMyst Septum Piercing and Ear Tusks from PrimCision, and the Twisted Wings from Grimm's Faery Sales. So they are butterfly wings. If bullets can have them, why can't I? After all, the world is a vampire...

Twisted Mash 2

I was also rather stoked to come across these Twisted Skull N Spike Sneakers at one of the last stops on the hunt, Enchanted Realm. You don't need to Be Like Mike when you've got these blades as protective on-the-court footwear. Hanging down behind me is the axes and syringes off the Serial Killer Belt from Trixxy's Shop. I may actually need to use it. I've heard all sorts of reports of asshattery from those doing the hunt, especially at SN@TCH. This is a reminder to play nice, kids. The designers have created these pretty things in their own time and put them out for our pleasure. If you don't like the item or the store, just leave the box and move on. And if you are especially enamoured of a particular item? Then make their day, pass on a note of thanks. Store owners are people too.

Now that I've finished my political broadcast... you can have the slurl for the starting point of the hunt, +DV8+ I won't spoil the thrill of the chase for the other locations.

Yay for nakies cornerings and such!! Have I mentioned lately how much I adore you despite (or perhaps because of) your fondness for wearing bright blue hotpants?

excellent post Winter baby and you look delicious as always! BTW my hunt gift will be available to my subscribe-o this weekend so no one has to miss out on it that really appreciates. Kudos to all the designers in this hunt. It'd for sure the best so far and the only one I plan on actually hunting in!
Please...hunters, let the designers know you appreciate what they do for you. It makes all the difference to them, I promise. If you don't you may not find this kind of awesome quality and diversity in future hunts.
