It's all about the music.

The 2008 Global Music Festival has begun! Well-known DJs from across the grid and across the world will be spinning international beats in Rezzable's sims all throughout September. You can find out more about it and get a schedule here. But before you go...

You need some concert gear!

Rezzable has taken care of that too with the Festival Goodies Backpack. It includes a very detailed bag with a patch that you can click on to change to your country's flag or another one of the many graphics to choose from. And what's a concert without a lighter to hold for an encore? Yup, it has that too. It also has a huggable Greenie that says "Green the Grid!" in multiple languages, heaphones that you can wear on your head or neck, and cute Greenies wellies that top off your concert-going outfit and go SQUELSH! like you're walking through rain puddles.

And it's free!! Click here to get a list of places you can pick it up (just scroll down).

I tp'ed in some friends all concert geared up and headed to Haze in The Tunnel of Light, one of the many clubs hosting this event, to listen to some tunes. Despite almost suffering a seizure from the incredible glowyness (you'll have to go there with WL settings on to see what I mean), we rocked out and had a good time of it. (And as you can see in this picture, we apparently felt compelled to YMCA it up despite the fact that the song was definitely not being played by the DJ, lol.)

The cast of characters from left to right is Tuli Asturias, Lokum Shilova, me, and the G. I hope to see some of you out there dancing along with me and mah wellies sometime this month. SQUELSH!
