For the thrill of the hunt

There seem to be all kinds of scrumptious hunts going on at the moment. There's the not-so-hard-to-find giant gift boxes "hunt" at Callie Cline (She just put out 2 new ones today!). There's also the aforementioned "Golden Cage" hunt at Miriel's new sim that lasts indefinitely that is harrrrd but so worth it (Thank you Rhi Rossini for being my impromptu partner! We make a great team!). And, there's the Ibizarre hunt that Siobhan left us a love note about on that handy dandy Cbox thingie on the right side of the Free*Style page (Thanks Siobhan!!). There's also just some really amazing stuff that landed in my inventory (and hopefully yours!) thanks to the subscribe-o-matic angels, so I've thrown that in too.

I'm trying to get ready for the start of school and the arrival of The G to the Nation's Capital, so apologies for the lack of wittiness, but here you have it. (Well, actually...yeah, there's this Stiletto Moody sale in an hour or two and I need to stare at the clock to make it GO FASTER. AHHHH!)

Ibizarre has a hunt with a "boulder" sorta theme in celebration of the new sim and new store opening. There are some very nice gifts on the counter in the new shop, and there are others amongst the beach and surrounding areas that are in, well...boulders. It's a fun and relatively easy hunt, and you can pick up some great stuff.

More rawr-worthy Ibizarre boulder hunt finds!

Constanza Volare ("Connie" to her friends) of Alchemy has some of the most gorgeous and fun dresses on the grid, and she sent this one out to her group today! Woot! I paired it with some non-free-but-fabu new mary janes (Can you tell I'm hot for mary jane right now?! Lol...) from Katat0nik that also just came out today for $300L.

Here is a closeup of some of the jewelry you can score from Miriel's "Golden Cage" hunt (plus the free Miriel eyes in-store). The hunt has no set end date, so you can take your time, but I'll warn you - it's VERY hard. It is one of the most difficult hunts I've ever done in Phil's Place. There are clues you have to pay careful attention to and you really have to search throughout the sim, but the five little gift boxes contain some of the most finely crafted jewelry I've yet to see. I suggest taking a friend and doing a little teamwork so you don't go completely batty like yours truly on the first go round!
