Christopher Walken is perhaps one of my top five favorite actors. He was in so many profoundly bad B movies as these ambiguous but most decidedly evil characters, and yet the man can tap dance like nobody's business. Sadly, Mr. Walken has very little to do with this post, other than a loose connection between the last picture and that Saturday Night Live skit with Will Farrell, but I just couldn't resist. Guess what! I have a fever...and the only prescription is...MOAR FREEBIES!
AC Aphrodite Creations has a new group freebie out called "Braceys." These kyoot bangles that come in pink with silver or gold (it includes both) and are exclusive to the "Aphrodite Friends and Fashion" group. I had to have a lot more AC cowbell and ended up picking up this gorgeous "Verano" dress in Sunset ($150L), "Sasy" Chic heels in Rose ($200L), and the "Gentle Brush" lashes ($75L).
Here is a close up to get a better look at the bangles. This pose and most of the poses throughout the post ('cept the cow, of course) are also from AC Aphrodite Creations as a part of the "Charisma" set. I'm a pose fanatic and when I found out that Aphrodite made poses, I had to check them out. They're available for $100L per pose or $475L for a 6 pose pack. The "Casual Up Loose" hairstyle from Junwave is $50L and the Tuli Emily tanned "Sultry" skin is $1,000L.
This week's Kunglers freebie "Spider" dress is a little goth glamorousness while maintaining that chic-with-an-edge look that the Kungler Sisters are becoming well-known for. Be sure to snag it by the end of the week!
Equally as glamorous are the copious amounts of jewelry you can hunt for at Bonita's - 50 gifts enclosed in little white starbursts! I have on the "Dark Cranberry Wrapped Bead Necklace" and the "Black Double Hoop Earrings. " With this much amazing jewelry for free, I'm sure I'll be reaching for it often!
The non-free items I'm wearing include the ETD "Sofia" hair ($175), the Tuli S5 Goth skin in "Lace" ($1000L), and Sn@tch's Nail Candy in "Black/Red Cross" ($200L for a pack of 38 colors).
Thimbles is the "cock of the walk, baby" with the "Taking on all the sadness pants" hunt at the Starlust Motel. Yup, it's a pants hunt and there are 11 thimbles to be found all over the Lloyd sim. I will warn you ahead of time: this isn't an easy hunt. At least not for me. I spent quite awhile looking and only found 5, despite the thimbles being the size of my frickin head, lol. The "Mr. Worthington's Diary" top in bright purple is a Thimbles group gift. Violet Voltaire's Angel Set jewelry is available for $200L and the booN HNB27 hairstyle is $220L for a two-color pack.
Sn@tch has a limited-time freebie out until Friday at 11:59 PM SL called "Bedtime for Bitches." I paired these jammies with an AC Aphrodite Creations Braceys bangle in purple $100L for the set), Philotic Energy's Piper pigtails ($199L & check out the newly redesigned store!), and poor "Buttons the Unloved" by Fuel ($150L and too kyoot to resist). The pose is by Vital Animations (not free).
I definitely look like I need more cowbell, eh? Callie Cline set out her "Cowpoke" gift for her Cal Gals group within her shop, cow included! The outfit includes the "Cowgirl Jane" top, the "Fatbelt" in bright green, and the "Skinny Minny" tintable skirt. The cow is hud-driven and pretty funny to just pop on in the middle of a shop with lots of people around. Or at least I'm amused. The "Fast Lane" cowgirl hat is a lucky chair gift from Digital Knickers and the Belleza skin is free for group members in-store. Non-free items include the "Old Boots" from Shiny Things ($450L) and the "Cordi II" hair by Philotic Energy ($199L).
Ok, that's enough cowbell and everything else for right now! Gonna lay down the cowbell. ;)

omg this is why we are friends. if anything else, it's because of Christopher Walken.Every time I see his best of on SNL DVD, I have mini seizures from laughing so hard.
"You say tomato. I say tomato. You say potato. I say potato." (Best monologue/song in SNL history as far as I'm concerned)
Awesome post Adiface, and I'm so proud of Callie for sending the group a cow! That cow has been accessorizing my ass for the better part of a year now most days. It just never gets old :)
